Only the evil children of Oduduwa, that doesn't have the ball,to demand for their own independence. How i wish Northern elites will support this good development, and let everybody go their way. I love north, because they always mean business like we Igbos.unlike the cowards from the waste, called yorobbers, who has the penchant, for chickening out at the crescendo of events. Long Live Great Biafra! Long Live Arewa Republic Long Live Ogoni Republic These are those, who has the ball!. Others should decide their fate. Please no |
Mellin: u must be a hippopotamus @op for mentioning Igbos...anu ohia... ezi bida..how does those names resemble Igbo name?even the mugu above me no read the post ..he just comment because he saw Igbo dia......umu anu ohia*you are new in Nairaland *Oop was inviting the Evil chidren of Oduduwa, thats why he used their bait. |
*peep post* *shrug* +Continue singing; "Evil children of Oduduwa..." +Return to my Egg and Indomie!. |
Reasonable Igbos don't follow supporter of APC |
biodunid: You can believe this if you believe the fiction that Igbos are a majority in Lagos. Even if you ignore all other tribes and count just Yorubas and Igbos in Lagos, the Igbos cannot pip the Yorubas. Umeh should realise that Nigeria is in a delicate situation and certain views might trigger unpalatable reactions. Would he dare voice the same aspiration in Rivers? Even Delta that they are indigenous to; they cannot secure governorship there in the next 20 years. When we say yorubas are cowards,we knows why we say that. Why are youq pooping on your pant already, before Igboman rules Lagos?. I had thought you guys are denying our number, and sophìstication in Lagos, why not wait till we meet at the poll?. |
Evergreeen123: Definately the sea port would be decongested but the revenues generated therefrom would still be sufficient for the western region alone and not the larger Nigeria entity.Oh yes!. More than 70% of Lagos revenue will be redirected towards S.E,and S.S. Ask FAAN,whats happening to Lagos airport, since Enugu airport came on board. If you must know, the politicised nature of port activities over the years,is one of the many major factors, that pushed Igbos to Lagos. When Abia port and Akwa ibom port starts operation, its gonna be a great game changer!. Again, the presence of some Embassies, and other government agaencies,in Lagos, due to her former capital status, is another major factor that makes Lagos what it is today. In the event of regionalism, southwest will loss greatly,as many factors making lagos cosmopolitant, will be "undone",and your Lagos will be on its way to Osun,Ekiti and Ibadan status. So now,the question is,who is gonna loose,im the event of regionalism?. |
Evergreeen123: I know the southsouth also has sea oultets and it isnt landlocked like y1boland. I know the port in Lagos would be decongested when the ones in the southsouth comes into full use in the event of the actualisation of regionalism and resource control.Igboland is landlocked?. You are 'dwelling' in fools paradise. Last i check, plans are on top gear,to begin construction of seaport, and airport,by Abia state government. If don't know,Abia port at Obauka,is 25 nautical miles away from atlantic ocean, while that of Rivers state,is between 35-40 nautical miles away from Altantic ocean. That goes to prove to you, that Abia's port is closer to the ocean. Again,Akwa ibom port,is just about 30minutes drive, from Abia state.hence,Igbos ain't shaking!. If we are shaking,we wouldn't be canvassing for Biafra independence. BTW,who told you that,Landlocked countries ain't flourishing?. If i may even ask,in the eyes of growing exploit in Science & technology,is their anything as 'Landlockism'?. Ignorance is a disease! |
And thunder will fire whosoever that will opens his/her mouth,to question the rationale behind this demand,or even spew trash as regards this, without first questioning the impectus/audacity,with which the Northeast,in conspiracy with its other northern appendages,is rooting to coner 5% of fund acrueing to the federation account,in the pretext of 'National intervantion fund',for boko haram ravages,in their abode, despite being the architect of their own misfortune. Let me say this,Igbos never declared war on Nigeria,Nigeria under the leadership of a kakistomoboplutocrat called Gowon declared war against Igbos. Ojukwu didnt fire any shot, until Gowom did.hence,Igbos merely fought to defend themselves from Gowons onslaught, which was hijacked by ethnic chauvinists from the southwest and north,to commit organised pogrom/genocide,against Igbos. Therefore,Nigeria must also reconciliate, reconstruct, and rehabilitate,Igboland. |
I support Biafra, but Kenny shouldn't make mockery of Christainity. Yorubas doesn't own church.church is church of Jesus christ. Everybody is entitled to the choice of where to worship. |
Where are those Southwest morons, shouting ethnic profiling,in the case of Abia and Imo arrest and documentation?. You people irritates characterwise, and intellectually. I hate hypocrites! I hate cowards!. |
Loud mouth Yorubas, over to you. *Ibom Plaza calling!. |
citizenisb: With the amount of ethnicity and tribalism I read here on Nairaland mostly by youths who did not experience the hardship of the civil war and are thus meant to be free of resentment due to genocide; it is almost certain that a far worse RWANDA GENOCIDE is going to befall Nigeria.Mr.man,stop blaming igbos for yoruba's self-induced woes. Its not igbos that indoctrinate yorubas, islam did. Thats why we igbos are saying NO,to islam in Igboland,as we will mob any man trying to propagate that demonic religion in our land. BTW,the growing influence of islam in southwest, only portray the conquest of hausa-fulani's,on yorubas. Finally, its time to define our boundaries!. |
SW will soon explode, quote me anywhere in the world. The rate of radicalization going on in among yoruba muslims,is grossly alarming. The time to define our boundaries,is now!. |
apostleb: Point of Correction, ELEME AND OYIGBO will not be part of the Orashi state. The Purely Igbo speaking LGA in Rivers state is 4LGA in Orashi plus 6LGA in Ikwerri that's total of 10LGAs then Old Rivers state will be made up of the Ogonis and the I jaws that's 5LGA of Ogoni and 8LGA of Ijaw. This will be very good.awhat made you think that Obigbo, which is now being corrupted as Oyigbo,is not Igbo?. |
I support it too. If all the proposed states are created, then Igbos will be in exclusive Igbo states except those Igbo in Apa State but I think they will fair better with their Idoma neighbours. ******** I see the hands of Gen.Ike Nwachukwu, the chairman of the committee on political restructuring & forms of government,in ongoing confab, working this wonders. |
ej007: The SE is not big enough in landmass and is not going to lose any more territory to the SS.**word** |
IGBOSON1: ^^^No be access to sea i dey see so?.......Abi my eyes don dey see something else?Don't mind those lies of decades. People telling those lies, are those, who doesn't actually know the geographical terrain,of the entire Igbo nation. Even SE alone, has access to Sea,via Abia state. |
KOBOJO: Oil producing part of imo state and yet they are marginalized like hell.Marginalized in what way?. *Throw more light!. |
Ya @Vicky,but i had thought the activities of Massob ends in Delta north?. |
Wike,do your campaign properly,APGA will do the magic. *Wike's winning under APGA,is surety!. Many factors involved! |
Massob in Warri?. Please can somebody confirm this. |
VICTORCIZA: Remove Ihiala from your silly njaba state and continue!!!Last i checked,Anambra was ably represented in the confab. Stop making it look as though those representatives, are dumbass!. Finally, channel your anger,to the appropriate quarters. NJABA state, isn't begging for Ihiala. Allow the elders of Ihiala to voice,if they ain't satisfied with the proposition. |
Chino72: You don't get it! No part of Anambra is interested in being carved out of the present Anambra. That said I feel relieved that my town Uga will not be affected.Your opinion as regards whether some LGAs in Anambra, will be carved out or not, will be grossly insignificant, when the time comes. Stop making it look as if Anambra statet is your family name!. When time comes, those who holds the stake in Anambra, and Igbo nation, will definitely speak. Or was Anambra not created from somewhere?. |
Hope it isn't a plot,to cut off the oil producing part of Imo state, and join it to SS?. Oguta and the entire Egbema, shouldn't be removed from SE!. |
I suspect this cap. This cap means a lot beyond our five-sense!. Always wearing this particular cap anywhere, anytime.now he has presented same cap to Imolites.NO!!!,no man should cover our heads. PDP,should present a better candidate, and APC,will be sent out of Imo state. |
Ikengawo: Anioma is my choice. We must add to our territory, not divide it into smaller fiefdoms.Add them to SE and gain what from it?. Last i check, the confab proposed the creation of Anioma state, out of Delta, and also proposed states as federating units. If thats true, its stupid of us,to deprive ourselves, the oppurtunity,to get more allocations, and other federal oppurtunities, from FG,due to more 4 states,in the SE. If more states is created in SE,it means more financial and equal oppurtunities at the federal level. The creation of 4 states in SE,doesn't stop that of our Anioma brothers, which also has already been proposed for creation. |
This is quite ridiculous, over 240 views,no answer.Am i sure this is nairaland?. Please where is Abagworo?. |
sCun: Land locked South East. Please explain better. |
No going back on Abia airport, seaport projects – Commissioner JULY 3, 2014 BY STEPHEN UKA, UMUAHIA Abia State Government has said that contrary go speculations, it has not backed out on the airport and seaport projects it recently embarked upon. Commissioner for Information, Eze Chikamnayo, made the clarification in an exclusive interview with The PUNCH yesterday in Umuahia. He said the projects were borne out of Gov.Theodore Orji’s determination to bequeath meaningful projects to the people, adding that the proposed seaport at Obuaku, Ukwa West Local Government Area will boost commerce in the South East region. According to him, even if the projects are not fully completed before the expiration of Orji’s tenure, substantial work will have been done for successive administration to complete. He said, “Despite the capital intensive nature of both projects, Government decided to embark on them considering their importance to the economic transformation of the state. “The state had acquired massive land, spanning from Obolo in Ikwuano LGA to Olokolo in Umuahia South LGA for the airport project.” Chikamnayo gave assurance that work on both projects were in top gear. He said, “The proposed seaport project had already received the approval of the State Executive Council, and a committee has also been set up for speedy implementation of the project.” According to him, reserved land will also be acquired for the airport project at Isialangwa North for future expansion. Chikamnayo explained that the nearness of Obuaku to the Atlantic Ocean informed the choice of the town for the project, which will be the second seaport in the South East Geopolitical zone after Onitsha. He said, “When completed, both projects would tremendously boost economic activities in the state, even as he flatly debunked insinuations by pessimists who express fear that the projects could end up as government white elephant projects.” I foresee greater economic boom in Igboland,if this project is truly realized!.
