My broda its not as easy as u think.. monoes has been shared no one will ansa you.. NCDMB new about it.. they were part of it from the start.. some set that went for 10months training in the building of the said ship will be in the country this coming weekend and they dont habe hope of employment after been in korea for 10months... the welders that went came back in March n till now no one even welcomed them back when they arrived.. wen we left korea last year same thing happened.. no one welcomed us.. those of is that didnt go back where give 160k.. I was among those that protested when we were in korea be4 they even agreed on the 160k.. some of us sold out becos they promised them that they will return n now they have gone n they are back to square one.. I have moved on from HHI n they are asking me wats the levels.. my broda leave niaja people.. they will make you look like a bad person.. all man for himself God for us...

I read in the papers today that trainees of SHI i.e Samsung Heavy Industries Trainees will be retained after training.I don't know wether HHI will do the same.SHI have been contracted to build 2 ships for NLNG while HHI will built 4 ships for NLNG,so it is expected that HHI should engage/retain more of their trainees after the training programme.

Those of us currently on training for basic welding at Bonny island,how far? any information on this.
According to the report,it does not make any sense to train people for a skill and then drop them like trash,without engaging them.

Good for you bro,when God wants to help man,he uses man as our helper,am trying my best bro,but sincerely scantee has been the ONLY person in ph dat has been willing to hear my pleas and give an helping hand careerwise other interviews has been we would get back to you later which they didnt it was there and then i knew that an interview invitation is a stage and in most cases doesnt neccessarily lands one a job offer and even if @ the end of the day,my job offer didnt come through his (scantee)connection,its still doesnt mean i should blow off the bridge,casting your network wide and keeping all options open....

How are you?I just tot I shud share dis with u,I tink u are been to dependent on people when the market is a very open one.Lately Godwilling have had 2 interviews with HR in 2 big companies without any connection or assistance,just with the help of God.Don't wait for anybody to connect u,job plenty for this country.

A certification in welding is good and it may give you a slight edge in the labour market, especially if you are seeking middle-level technical roles (e.g. mechanical technician). But need I say that welding is mostly important for companies that provides technical services to oil producing companies that require hotwork or fabrication.
What level are you, and have you done your internship?

I think to gain admission u must be 2:1 student,go pick the form,get strong referees,for cost implication,u shud spend between 3-7million,employment status is granted once you finish tops bcus total are the owners of ips and they do everything to industry standard.any company will rush you.

My brother I doubt it. Even in the days of nilesat 101 before the change of satellite to 201, getting MBC on 1.8m in Warri was a herculean task.Even if you succeeded in gething it at 50 or 55% quality, it was never stable. It will go off in mornings and come back at night. Then it always freezes with little cloud cover.Now that the packages have moved on to 201 you need minimum of 3m to get even the 50% signal quality.But if you really want to enjoy nilesat here aim for 4m and above.

MBCs are still very much receivable here in the south-south as you can see from above pictures.
Signal strength is as high as 73% sometimes on my i-star decoder.
