Romance / Re: The Woman I Took Advantage Of Blessed Me by donogaga(m): 1:34pm On Mar 16, 2023
MaDaRa01:
Two days ago i went to a woman's shop to buy something and i took advantage of the little kid she left in the shop by paying way less than what i bought.

Thanks to the good people of nairaland with their good advice. I deciding to go clean to the woman and telling her the whole truth without hiding anything.

I went back yesterday to the woman and told her the truth, how i took advantage of the kid by paying #50 for the rice worth #1k and how i came back to pay the balance after i realize my wrong.

At first, i thought she was going to get angry at him. Instead she asked me if i have bible app on my phone which i affirmed. She quoted a verse to me and talked to me on confession of sin and forgiveness.
Seriously, since when i dey go church, no pastor sermon touched me like the little talk the woman gave me. Till now i'm still thinking about it.

I thanked her, promised never to do that again, and as i was going she told me to wait. She later gave me some rice, beans and other provision that i should take it for free and anytime i am hard on cash, i could come to her shop and get anything and pay her whenever i receive salary or when i have cash with me.

I said all the whole "Thank you, God bless you".

It was not the foodstuff that blessed my soul, but how she handled the situatiom.

May God continue to bless the woman

Send me the woman's account details let me offset the bill of what she gave you. And again, let me know the total amount in order for me to quickly credit her account.

She's a good woman.

Thank you too for doing the right thing by going back to clear your conscience.

Are you really convinced that Tinubu won the election? Can you beat your chest and swear that APC actually won?

Please, forget about sentiments. The election was marred with obvious irregularities and it was quite shambolic.

Nigeria cannot grow this way.

Do you know how much you would make in UK within that one year of relocating?

I can personally attest to that.

Travel / Re: Canada Will Humble You, I Miss Cheap Nigerian Pussies: Pictures by donogaga(m): 7:19pm On Oct 08, 2022
Thamesbridge:
I have finally arrived in Canada. To be sincere this country is beautiful. Job opportunities here are like akara and ewedu.

There's nothing like mega churches here, what they have are mega industrial complexes. On Sundays you won't hear noise, people quietly pray to God and after which they go to entertainment centers, shopping to have fun and relax. I haven't even seen one mosque here not to talk of hearing allahu akubar.

I am not mincing words, this country is not heaven oo, but Nigeria is like a hell somewhere compared to this place. You can never see police blocking the road, no kidnappers, no insecurity, etc. Everyone just moving and minding their business.

But I must note that pussy is hard to find here. You cannot lure any girl with money here because everyone's working and busy. Nothing like women of easy virtue here. No girl gives a fu.k about you. Most girls wear only pants and bra here but it doesn't mean they are women of easy virtue until you try to touch, then you will see yourself in police net. Just like this one I saw in a bus and another two girls i saw at a train station as shown below. People are so free here but they aren't easy to get laid. Even the packets of condoms I came with from Nigeria haven't been opened yet not to talk of using it on any pussy. cheesy

If you are planning to come here, make sure you buy ma's.tubation cream or else konji will conjure you. For three months and yet to see pussy. The Indian lady that managed to give me her number refused taking her calls for almost three days now, but I understand because girls here are after their job not after men that will dash them money and buy iPhone for them.

In a nutshell, Canada is bae, everything looks cool and beautiful, job opportunities here are like akara, but pussy isn't easy to get here unlike Nigeria where I would have been playing with pussies.

Very important note: until you come here, you won't know you are living in a hell called Nigeria. I wish goodluck to everyone of you trying to come here, Canadian visa is hard to get but keep trying one day your luck will shine. I tried applying for 3 consecutive times but it eventually clicked on the fourth time. Goodluck to you guys as you keep trying.

Guy, forget about women and focus on making money.

Don't be distracted.

No need for excuses.... Excuse is the reason for bad result. As a matter of fact, there are 1 million reasons why you can't achieve your target, but you have to look beyond the excuses, if not, you will remain stagnant.

To be sincere my brother, in regards to what you listed above, definitely if you get a better offer within the space of that two(2) years, you are going nowhere.

My advice goes thus, provided you are doing nothing for now and the said GT program aligns with the career path you want for yourself, kindly accept the offer, be prayerful and hope that better opportunities locate you at the end of your time with the said company, best wishes in your future endeavors bro.

No responsible and or reputable company would draft such contract. It's a red flag.

He shouldn't accept it.

Hello Nairalanders,
I need advice regarding this opportunity.

I applied for an Engineering Graduate Trainee Position recently. I wrote the aptitude and technical tests and passed. I also attended the interview and I was successful.

The Contract Form was sent to me and I saw some clauses that I need to discuss here before I append my signature.

1. The training runs for two years before conversion to a full staff.

2. You cannot terminate the contract for the training once you sign. You must stay for the full two years.

3. There is a canteen at the factory, but you have to buy the food.

4. There is no full HMO benefits but the factory has a clinic to attend to medical needs of the trainee.

5. The gross pay for the first year is 50K. The gross pay for the second year is 70K and from the third year, you earn 100K.

6. The company does not offer accommodation for the trainees.

7. I am not sure if the company uses staff bus.

8. Work is Monday to Saturday. 9:00AM to 6:00PM. Although Saturday work ends by 1:00PM

NOTE: I stay in the FCT so I would need to relocate. The company is in Lagos.

Don't take it bro.

Try and source for funds by all means necessary and leave that Country. I bet you won't regret it.

Make una dey think before una dey talk. Trust is a strong word and it's earned over time..... How can you trust a wife that collects money from your friend without the wife informing the husband? That's crazy. Such wife should never be trusted.

She shouldn't collect money from her husband's friend without the knowledge of the husband. That's betrayal of trust.

Events / Re: My Ugly Experience At A Friend's Party by donogaga(m): 1:28pm On Aug 08, 2022
Supreme145:
A close friend of mine invited me to a birthday party he threw for his girlfriend a couple of days ago. I initially declined the invitation but reluctantly agreed when the girl called me personally and pleaded with me to show up.

When it was time to get ready for the party, a peep into my wardrobe reminded me that I had no outing cloths. I hadn't gotten a new cloth for over 4 years. My sapa induced introverted nature somehow masked my need for new stuffs because I hardly go out. A sad reality hit me hard in the face... My two jeans and three tee shirts were badly worn out, no shoes either.

I shaa dressed up and left for the party. I immediately regretted my decision of honouring that invitation immediately I stepped into the venue. I looked so out of place... Guys were all dressed up in nice cloths and latest gadgets, I normally don't let those kinda stuffs bother me but I felt terrible that night.

I sat at a corner observing things till my friend's girlfriend came and yanked me off my seat to take pictures with some of her friends. A friend of hers used an iPhone with three cameras at the back to take the pictures, didn't know the model since both 12 and 13 looks similar.

I went and sat back at my corner till the photo guy came and offered to transfer some of the pictures to me... I hesitated because I knew I didn't want to see the pictures but the guy was persuasive so I gave in. If only I knew the embarrassment that was lying in wait for me.

We proceeded to connect to xender, that was when my antiquated camon CX air that I've been using since 2017 decided to show himself. My phone kept rebooting on its own endlessly till the guy got fed up and left. I was super embarrassed.

My friend still came today to transfer the same pictures to me but I objected vehemently because I looked miserable in all the pictures.
I codedly observed guys in my compound dressed up for church and Sunday outings and came to the conclusion that sapa has been my best friend for a really long while.

HAPPY SUNDAY

Keep your head up bro. The table will soon turn. I assure you that.

That's life for you.

Typically, before you can be issued a certificate of sponsorship (COS) by your potential employer. You must have been offered employment in the UK which meets the minimum pay for immigrants.

On accepting the offer, you go through some screening which varies amongst employers. Every employer/organization have specific onboarding activities which varies from background checks, filling of forms, signing some agreements etc.

You are expected to also have prove your knowledge of English language, TB test results (All this have been stated in the first post).

Once you submit all the necessary documents to your employer, they will start processing your COS. You don't have to do anything else but wait patiently till they send it to you. Once you receive the COS, you quote the COS ref number on your visa application.

Let me know if there is any other contribution you think might be helpful.

What if you are already legally in the UK for like 6 months before you got the Care Home that wants to employ and sponsor you, do you still need to write IELTS?
