Good Evening Everyone..

To all the gurus I appreciate your selfless efforts advicing, solving issues and giving tips to several people who don't have such info. I do APPRECIATE you all.

I heard something and will like to find out how true it is. Its a fact that students have 20hours to work in a week but I heard that if you work with NHS or you do any care job( for social workers or health related students) your employee can file unlimited hours for you.

Has anyone heard of such or is someone currently doing such?

Is it backed up by law? If yes can you share a link to such info.

I will appreciate if all top top guys on here can lend a voice.

Tier 4 student in the UK. You're no longer restricted under 20hrs work limit anymore, provided you pick up care job.

Our commitment is far beyond securing a Visa but to make you comfortable once you're in the UK by getting and linking you up with a reliable CARE job once you get to the UK.

So the news is as long as you are doing the CARE job, you can now work indefinitely.

It is on the uk website. You have to refill an online form, pay about 154pounds, book and apply and redo your biometric. My friend is in this shoes too. She was waiting for her dependent visa not knowing the law would happen. Very unfortunate.

Go to the bank and request for it.. that's what I did and i got it today.

He doesn't need to go to the Bank for that purpose.

My suggestion is this, he should contact his Account Officer and let him/her know he urgently needs the soft copy of the TELEX via email.

You guys should ensure you endeavor to sort out accommodation issue before you travel. It's quite a difficult task securing accommodation in Bristol these days.

The National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) says random checks to “assess antibody titre” will be conducted to ensure that civil servants do not procure COVID vaccination cards “fraudulently”.

Faisal Shauib, NPHCDA executive director, disclosed this on Monday at the media briefing of the presidential steering committee (PSC) on COVID.

The COVID vaccine offers support to the body in terms of production of antibodies — proteins produced in the blood which are responsible for fighting infections.

An antibody titre is a type of test that shows how much antibodies are present in a person’s blood.


According to him, from December 1, all civil servants employed by the federal government would be required to present their vaccination cards or negative COVID test results before they can access their offices.

“I would like to remind all federal government employees that starting from December 1st, 2021, they would be required to show evidence of being vaccinated against COVID-19, or a negative PCR result done within 72 hours before being allowed into their offices,” he said.

“To further ease access to COVID-19 vaccines by government employees, we have also commenced office-to-office vaccination in federal ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs). What this simply means is that employees who are yet to be vaccinated will find a vaccination site around their offices to register and get vaccinated. This will help in preventing the excuse of having to leave their place of employment to a distant vaccination site.

“We would like to also state that, from time to time, civil servants will be picked at random to check or assess their COVID-19 antibody titre to detect persons who may have fraudulently acquired the vaccination cards without vaccination.

“Anyone who has been found to have fraudulently obtained the vaccination card without vaccination would be handed over to the law enforcement authorities. The vaccines are free and are available at sites close to you.

“We have also engaged and are collaborating with the Nigerian military, police and the para-military institutions in the establishment of mass vaccination sites in their locations around the country. We will also be assisting with the deployment of our vaccination teams to all sites identified by these institutions.”

Honestly I am not trying to sound like a broken record though I'm hurting badly because I don't know how to feel, but this my babe that I've been dating for the past 2 years hardly calls me. Times without number we have talked about it and she promised to improve but that has not been the case.

In summary, the first and most important move is to get your own accommodation as your family application and other things depend solely on this.

And again, once accommodation is sorted, the address is what the dependant will use for their visa application. That adds more authenticity to the application and will most likely guarantee the success of the application.

Yes, it's possible to cancel the visa when you're already in the UK. Even permanent resident visa can be cancelled. Make sure you have money that covers your own expenses in the account you presented for your own visa because they most likely would request for it.

Are you certain they would request for the account statement of the principal being the Student? I suppose that's a close chapter?

I was thinking it's the POF of the dependants that's necessary at this stage?
