you are not getting me once again , but wait are you referring to Angular Js? Or Angular2 and the upgraded 4,5 and 6, cos they are different, angular 2 and above uses typescript, maybe that's what you are referring to as complicated, under the hood, your typescript is still compiled down to JavaScript, if its angular js you are still writing Js and not typescript, but if you have a very knowledge of vanilla JavaScript, framework will just be an icing on the cake
