Chapter 8 part 2
I've never seen him so mad before,I knew he was guarded but this side of Aiden was foreign. His jade eyes were cold and his face emotionless. It looked like Aiden was actually going to kill the guy and I was there watching,too tired to get up or tell him to snap out of it.
But thank God the guys came just in time. Ralph yanked Aiden away from the battered and broken dude, The guy needed to be taken to the ER.
Amber,Flora and Alyssia came over to me,eyes wide. They stared at the unconscious guys on the floor then me and they nodded sadly,taking me in a group hug. Good to know,there were actually people who cared.
"Weren't you supposed to be her date?" Aiden sneered angrily, motioning to Harry.
"I,I mean she- she went to use the restroom then just disappeared" Harry said nervously,looking at me apologetically.
"Are you okay?" Ralph asked, rushing over to my side.
"It's all my fault Tamara,you didn't want to come at first,I'm so sorry I forced you into it" Ralph continued. I saw Harry's jacket lying on the tiled floor,it was there through it all
They continued to talk,apologize and curse,but my mind was in overdrive and blocking every voice in my head. I made calculating steps,slowly walking towards the door and then I hastened my speed,sprinting past the guys and out of the tiny room. I heard series of my name being called out,but I ignored it, bumping into people and not bothering to say sorry. I spotted Charlotte, she gawped at me with wide eyes and I hissed,not sparing her a minute to put the pieces together. I ran out of the house,sprinting to no where in particular. Sprinting was my sport. I stopped to catch my breath and continued running through the quiet and lonely streets,I didn't look back and that I was grateful of. Many thoughts ran through my mind that I thought I would actually go crazy. I spotted a wooden bench across a tree and sat on it thinking about nothing. I inhaled and exhaled the sharp breeze tickling my nostrils,letting the tears fall all the way to my lap.
I didn't know how long I stayed there but I suddenly felt a hand slightly grip my shoulders. I didn't bother turning my head to figure out who the person was. I quivered,begging "please,not again"
I was too weak to fight back,that I realized if he wanted to take me,so be it.
"let's get you home" the familiar voice whispered and I stirred my head to see Aiden,holding out his hand for me and I took it,suddenly feeling safe.

Aiden and i stayed in his car for about half an hour,neither of us dared to utter a word. I couldn't stop the tears now. I knew my face looked a mess but who cares right now? I brought my legs up to my chest,burying my head in it and I couldn't help but ask.
"Why me?" I asked softly,almost like a whisper but he heard it,I knew he did because I felt him move in his seat.
" Let's get you home " he muttered again,turning the ignition,but I placed my hand softly on his to stop him. I wouldn't denial that I didn't feel a strange sensation build up inside me but I ignored it anyway.
"How did you know I was in there?" Because I was sure no one saw me walk in there.
He looked at me briefly and sighed "i heard you yell my name"
"Ohh" I blushed taking my hand back.
"Don't worry,Ralph took care of the guys. Turns out they were a bunch of uninvited assholes" Aiden said,putting his hands in a tight fist,making his knuckles turn white.
"Say you told me so"
"Huh?" He asked puzzled.
"You told me not to come Aiden,and I,i-"

Chapter 3



Sophie, let's go to the principal office first"Matt says. I can't allow you to be treated this way, mum shouldn't have make you come back to this school.
"Matt, chill ...it's nothing, besides I pleaded with mum before she allowed me to come back" I replied. I just don't ...i don't
'it's okay, I understand' Matt said giving me a brotherly hug, I wrap myself in the scent, he's like my father now, though Dad left him with lots of wealth and property to control and manage...but he is still his usual,happy and cheerful self maybe because he didn't witnessed Dad's death, the experience still gives me shivers and terrible nightmare ..
"Sophie, I hate to leave you alone here among all this mongers" Matt says. but you know I have to go to the company after college to oversee today's affairs and look at some other documents..
"yeah, I know " I said, then I walked him off the school park, I waved and watched as his car took off... I suddenly feel lonely, maybe coming back here is a bad idea after all, No it's not.. Am not some princess in distress, I have to stand on my own feet and avoid that my good for nothing ex-boyfriend Dash Wayne... I will never forget what he and his father did to me.. I trusted him and he played me for a fool, a tear dropped down my cheeks from the unmitigated experience.... I knew Matt probably warn him off but I couldn't care less, I just hate him, yes I hate him...
Oh,Dash why?why? Why did you do this to me? That was the question I wanted to ask him three months ago but he went on a vacation with his murderer father after they won the election on my Dad's Expense, My Dad and Dash's Dad were the top candidate for the senatorial election, Dad knows that Dash and I were dating, Dad warn me not to date him cause he suspected that he's merely using me to get informations from him, but I was so deeply in love with that fool I didn't notice the pretence and betrayal until his father killed my father, though mum we can't be sure yet but I know it, I know it was his father that murder my father because Dad was to meet me and pick me up at our favorite ice cream parlor and I only told Dash about it, because he wanted to take me out that same day too and I had to decline and tell him the reason, that's how his father knows where my dad was on that tragic day, the memories still make my heart hurts, so I took some medications out of my bag and doze it with a cold water, the time is far spent already,i should just go home ....tomorrow is another day, hopefully I won't have to witness an awkward situation like this or meet Dash Wayne but I know neither of the two is avoidable I just had to prepare for the worse.

"Wow I look cute"I said to myself as i looked at the mirror although my image looks blurr cause am a vampire,I looked around my room finding everything boring,so I decided to hang out with kell,I wore a carrot jean,a sleeveless t-shirt with a grey hood,on my feet was a footwear.
"Goodmorning guys"I greeted as I walked downstairs
"Gudmoring karl"they greeted back as I sat on the couch
"Wow you look cool,where are you going?"Max asked
"Am hanging out"I replied
"With who?"Ken asked
"Kell"I answered
"A date?"they both chroused
"No,just in the mood"I said
"Guys,breakfast is ready "jade called from the dinning
"Greetings to kell"Ken said from the dinning
"Alright"I Said as I stood up to leave
"Karl"jade called on me
"Yes"I replied smiling,I read her mind,she wanted to apologize to kell,she's sorry
"Hmm,I want you to greet kell and tell her am sorry"she said
"Okay jade"I said,she thanked me smiling,I hugged her kindly and moved out

driving,she was surprised,I was smiling cause I read her mind,she thought it was a date,I love her though,I asked about her brother who she said she likes but misbehave sometimes,she noted she hates vampires,so if she find out am a vampire,definitely she will hate me too and that wouldn't be good
"Karl,can I ask you a question"she asked
"Yeah sure"I answered still driving
"Am I a bad person"she asked as she turned To me and her face gradually becoming sad
"No,you're not,why do you ask"I asked,lemme guess it was jade,I was right,I made I understand jade asked of her and also is apologizing,she was happy after all.
After some drive more,we arrived
"Finally we are here"I said as we both got down together,entering the mall,bought the ticket and entered the cinema, sitting beside each other,I noticed she wasn't comfortable
"You're comfortable? "I asked looking at her
"Yeah a bit"she said,the movie started and we were all ready to watch,few minutes later,I looked at kell and I noticed she was feeling cold
"You're cold right?"I asked,she was,then I pulled off my good and covered her with it
"Thanks,what about you"she asked concernly
"Nevermind,I will be fine"I assured her,suddenly I felt her head on my shoulder,that would be my first touch of a human girl I like on me,I wished I could become human,I looked at her and saw she was asleep,kell was darn pretty,no doubt about it.
"Thanks karl"she smiled
"Yeah"I said
"Your hood?"she asked as she was about getting down
"You can keep it with you"I said smiling
"Bye"she said as she got down
"Bye"I said as I saw her walked inside,it was already evening,so I went back home,feeling happy I enjoyed my day with kell.
Readers I hope you peeps are enjoying this story,maybe you should start putting yourself on suspense as from now,who knows if kell would find out about karl's identity.

I was watching film with Frank when the door bell came up,
"I'll get it"I said as I stood up to the door then opened it
"Karl?"I said suprisely
"Arent you happy to see me?"he asked and I could see his dimple

"Okay am sorry,hey"I apologized and greeted him with a bit seriousness

Chapter 36
"Babe?!!" She called out.
"I'm here..baby just take cover and don't try to move" I instructed.
If only I carried my gun everywhere I went, I would have caught the bastard responsible for this. Well I know one thing for sure, that's gonna change from now on.
I quickly dialed the emergency number explaining to them the situation at hand. In no minute, the gun fight died off. It was like they knew the cops would be there soon.
This has gotten worse than I imagined it to be.
When I was sure they were really gone, I bolted to find Gabby who was all scared and shaky.
"My...my brothers!" She pushed me out as she made her way through the door.
"B...babe, open it up" she said tried to speak but her words found it hard to escape her mouth.
She watched patiently as I opened it up, thankfully her brothers were at the back hiding their lives out.
If I hadn't locked the car up, who knows what they could have done to the boys? Kidnapped or worse, the flying bullets would have hit them dead.
"Oh my God.. I.." She cried through her words as she helped her brothers get out the car.
"Baby..don't. Please. We're fine now. They're gone" I consoled her.
"What happened Gabby? Uncle Luke, there were gun sounds everywhere" George questioned.
"It's okay now buddy, were you hit? Alberto?" I inquired, checking them and they both shook their heads; still scared at the fact that their lives were flashing before their eyes few minutes ago.
"What did I ever do? First, they stalk me, deliver a weird package to me; now, they want me dead?!" She cried.
"Babe...you did absolutely nothing wrong. You hear me? You're never coming back here alone or even going out alone. As for work tomorrow, I'll let your boss know you won't make it. I need you to be safe, feel safe and be relaxed. I will find out whoever is responsible for this" I promised as I kissed her forehead.
I was expecting her to protest at my instruction but she did nothing of such. She just held onto I and her brothers tight before she finally spoke.
"Let's go home"

I kept my eyes and entire body alert for any unforeseen circumstance. I can't believe what just happened back there!
If I didn't pick her up, they would have definitely killed her and her brothers.

No, I don't think so. Not that I'm hundred percent certain at her innocence but I promised Gabby I wouldn't be all up on her issue. To move on, you have to let go.

I parked the car in the garage and stared into thin air like I had lost my mind. No doubt, I have.
"What exactly is wrong? I get it maybe. You're worried about tonight's incident. I am too, I mean..who knows? I would've been dead by now or my brothers hurt but thankfully we're fine. Please don't feel bad" she placed her delicate hands on my lap to ease the tension in me.
I sighed "Anything for you babe. Let's get you all inside. Its getting cold"
She nodded and stepped out while quite George and Alberto followed.
It might take a while before they recover from the tension, but they'll live through it just fine.
Immediately we opened the door, our eyes met two figures hitting it off underneath a blanket on the sofa.
Gabby quickly covered Alberto's eyes and I, George's.
"Oh my God..Stop! Jesus...get the Bleep up.." Quinn pushed Edwin off and reached for her clothing which was abandoned on the floor.
Gabby and I just stood there, somewhat ashamed of the clowns we had as friends who chose to perform their adventures any and everywhere they found themselves.
"I honestly thought you'd arrive late"

Chapter 41
He felt the first pour, then the second, then another before he jerked up to a start. It was their daily routine for the past week since he had been kidnapped too. Pouring bowls of water on him to wake him up and no matter how many times he complained, Georgina would do as she wanted. "Wake up." The guard's deep voice rang bell in his ears. "Will you stop screaming? What's the matter now?" Fred asked the huge looking man that woke him up. "She is here to see you." He replied. Fred wondered if he was forced to do the job or he himself signed up for it because no matter how he tried, he still couldn't come up with a reason why a man in his senses would do this kind of Job. "Who is 'she'?" Fred asked, already getting irritated. "Georgina Huckings." Oh now she has decided to see him, Fred thought. Since that evening when one of the guards had hit his head with iron and he had fallen unconscious, that would be about a week now, Georgina hadn't visited him though he knew quite well that these were her men. It had been his mother he saw, and just for that time because since then, he hadn't seen her again. Maybe it was a plan to leave him unguarded. Maybe Georgina already knew he was coming and they were already prepared for him. For the second time he lost to her, he lost. He was fooled again. Would Katie have been proud of him if she had been here? He hadn't been able to do anything right since things ended between them, he was slowly losing his mind. He thought at first that he was caught up in the love he had for his mother but he realized he had been wrong, his love for his mother shouldn't have made him weak, it should have strengthened him. It was Katie, it was her all long. She taught him how to feel already and now that she despised him, he just couldn't do anything right, he wasn't smart nor vigilant anymore, he wasn't strong and a woman was defeating him, what had he done to himself?
"Oh Fredrick, look at you, still as handsome as ever. If that silly daughter of mine hadn't run away, I would have let her marry you." Georgina walked into the room he was being kept with the elegance he was used to by now. He had been here for long now, were they searching for him? His office workers would have noticed him gone, would Katie have heard? Would she be worried about him? "Marry her own cousin? Well, didn't expect anything less immoral from you." Fred told her scornfully. "Oh you found out your mother is my sister, interesting. Guess yours and that foolish girl's research paid off after all." She said just as she beckoned to one of the guards to get her a chair. "Of course, our lives don't depend on the destruction of others' unlike some people, right?" He snapped. She just smiled. "You have a running mouth don't you? The way you did at the club meeting last week, the same thing that led you here. Did you really think I wouldn't know you were coming here? Well, I even appeared at the meeting so it wouldn't look like I had a hand in your disappearance. And guess what, i'm even helping in your search, how ironic." She laughed and sat down on the chair brought for her. Fred shook his head, not shaking by her attitude. He had had enough of her already. "Are you feeling bored? Do you need company? Maybe from your beloved Katie." She said. "You won't dare lay a finger on her." He said girthing his teeth together. "Else what?" She laughed again. "Well, forget about that, I already have one for you, someone you miss a lot, the person you came here to meet." Just as she said that, his mother ran through the entrance to meet him. "I don't expect any thanks, catch ya lerra." He heard Georgina mumble before leaving. He stood up to hug his mother tightly, it was the third time he was seeing her. And for the first time in a long while, he wept.
"Mom, is it really you. Am I dreaming? Mom!!" He hugged her again. She was small in his arms, she was extremely thin and was obviously malnourished. He cried harder, his mother had been in pain for years while he had been living a luxurious life, hating on her and every woman. He had treated every woman unjustly and unfairly, he had said bad things about his mother, now he felt worse than ever. "You recognised me even after.....these, my old face and disfigured shape." His mother said after they finally left each other to sit. "You really saying that mom? How can a son ever forget his mother?" He held her bony hands gently as she smiled. He wiped his tears once again and hugged his mom. "I'm so sorry mom, I am really sorry. I should have come earlier mom, I should have known you needed me all these years, but I was hating on you, been hating on you." He said. "Baby calm down. I know none of this was your fault, none, so calm down and tell me what happened while I was gone, how's Cameron." His mother's soft voice chilled his brain and mind. "Mom. I hated you for all those years you left us. Georgina came to live with us and we couldn't recognise it wasn't you. She made our lives hell making us think all the time that it was you. She maltreated me, even made dad handicapped forever. I thought it was you all long and I said all sorts of bad things about you. If I had known it wasn't you all long, I would have known you were in trouble and would have come to save you. I was just so stupid and cold hearted to realize my mother couldn't do such horrible things that Georgina did to us. I'm sooo sorry mom, I'm extremely sorry." He cried out to her, but she just smiled, rubbing his hair genty as he laid low on her laps. "I know everything baby, I know it all. And I am also sorry for not being there for you too. Don't blame yourself for anything, you were too young then to understand." She said.
"Why? I want to know why Georgina is doing all of this? Why did she do this to you and why does she want to ruin me and Katie?" Fred asked, he wanna know everything and be clear on all this trash. "Katie? Oohhh, she must be Katherine, Regina's daughter?" His mother said, he became confused. "Who is Regina?" He asked but as usual, she just smiled again. "I will tell you everything."
"There was a couple. The Diamonds, they were my parents. They were childless for a long while, they thought they weren't going to give birth anymore. So they decided to adopt a child from the orphanage. That's Regina, Katherine's mother. They said she was adorable, they gave her everything they had, they thought she was the only child they would have, so they willed all their properties to her, they were extremely rich, too rich that if they had spent millions everyday till they died, they wouldn't have spent up to half the money they had. Fortunately for them their prayers were answered, the wife became pregnant and gave birth to twins, two girls, that's me and Veronica. As their first children, they pampered us, so much that we had everything we had, we were always held high up by everybody. None of us let all that get into our heads except Veronica. She took another turn among us. We were three loving sisters who were close beyond doubt, we never made Regina feel she was adopted though we all knew already. But Veronica changed, she suddenly changed. Maybe because she always got the best attention from guys and everyone as a whole, being the most beautiful of us all with a dream of being a model and actress, but she became aggressive, rude, arrogant and uncontrollable. The worst part was she became wayward. No one could talk sense into her, she felt she was above everybody. She turned against us, her sisters and took control of everything in the household, she felt it was just hers and my property and since I never bothered about material things but family, she took everything as hers and started living lavishly and luxuriously. Mother and father saw all of this and tried their best to stop her behaviour and childishness, they kept pestering her and making her know they were still alive and it was still thier property, guess that was what prompted her of killing them." Fred's gasp made her pause for a while. "She planned to kill her own parents? Well looking at her now, I won't say she isn't capable of doing that." Fred said and urged her to continue. She smiled once again.
"I guess that was what my parents saw that made them change their mind about the will. Soon enough, they both died. It was so crazy because they died at a very young age and till now, no one has found out the cause of their death. Weeks later when we were still mourning their death, their lawyer came to meet us to announce their will. I could see the smile on my twin sister's face, she had been expecting it, she really had. It was a great shock when the lawyer read the will. 70% of the property was given to Regina and the remaining 30%, was given to me. None was given to Veronica. She was boiling, she got extremely angry that day that she sent the lawyer out of the house, it was later we heard that the lawyer was involved in a fatal accident that took his life. I assumed Veronica had a hand in that too. Regina was a gentle and cool lady, she wanted no problem from anyone and she thought Veronica had been treated unfairly, she decided to give Veronica 30% of her own share too, she told me. We were about telling her one day when Regina heard that her fiance had been sent to jail by Veronica for a crime he didn't commit, she had accused him of trying to take advantage of her. Regina got really angry that she swore on her life never to give Veronica anything and the last time all of us saw, she told Veronica clearly. She placed a challenge before her to spoil all Veronica's plans, she stood up against Veronica and her stupid attitude, and for the first time, I was extremely pleased. That day, we all separated, went to different towns and vowed not to see one another again, we vowed to live separately and never disturb anyone of us again. We had no particular relatives. Remember when you were a child, you used to wonder why all the relatives that came to visit us were from your father's side, not mine, this is the reason." His mother explained. Fred sighed, oh shii, things were becoming clearer now.

It's Ken birthday, when I Ken and jade decided to go on a tour to a zoological garden,after when we finally got there,we were strolling around the zoo as we were going,we saw something more to say like someone lying on the floor lifelessly,we moved closer to it and saw it was a boy in from of a vampire,we were scared and was about to run
"I thought vampires don't exist anymore"I thought,as we were about to run,he stood up and groans in pains,then he fell down back on his knees,turning to his human form
"He Seems good,i think we should help him"I suggested
"Help him?don't you think its dangerous "jade said in fear,i couldn't utter a word cause I was also nervous
"Guys,come on He is weak,let's help him"I said,so we moved closer,carried him gently to the car and drove home.
