As I,Ken,max,and jade entered the class I noticed no teacher was in the class and noticed Kell was on her seat alone,so I sneaked to her seat and
"Boo!"I shouted,she was seriously scared,but pretended not to feel for her so I faked a smile,i introduced Ken,max and jade to her,she greeted them,they all answered excluding jade,then I decided to bring up and idea, everyone accepted to it,excluding jade,something was wrong,i could read her mind,she didn't like Kell
"Okay why don't you join us in reading then"Kell suggested
"Am not in the mood,don't you get"jade yelled at Kell then went out,i couldn't see any reason why jade should be mad at Kell,jade isn't that type of person,i tried calling her cell but she wasn't picking,i was pretty sure Kell wasn't happy about that,she felt dejected,i felt every part of her on me,she was sad.

Chapter 35


It's been thirty minutes since I informed Push about our brief meeting.
I expected him to be here on time. Even before I got here.
Of course, it's been ages we saw but once in a while we keep in touch.
Back then in England, we used to work as bodyguards to one of the most feared men in the country.
I was only 19 when I signed up for the job. People rather thought I was older because of my features. And that, I wouldn't blame them. I love to work out.
Our boss sold illegal drugs to some health establishments that weren't yet government authorized and we helped him clear his name whenever things were about to go down.
We made sure anyone who tried to spill the truth was either locked up or silenced if they refuse to cooperate.
The boss was so fund of me, he made me the head of all operations.
One faithful Thursday we were out to deliver the package, some slowpoke who worked as a spy in the company managed to Bleep everything up and we were caught red handed by the cops and jailed. Luckily for me, I had connections that got me out, so I had to get my partner out too. Our boss had his own hell to face, he lost everything in just a day. He couldn't bear the shame of walking out of his house in handcuffs or even the thought of himself in prison so he committed suicide.
No one apart from Anne knew about my job in England and it has been her leverage from me until I moved out of England.
I just don't understand how in devil's name she found me here again.
I moved into Weirstera Lane to start a new life. Become something more useful for myself. As others may say, run away from my past.
It took me few years to meet Jake who introduced me to Edwin and Quinn.
Another year again to meet her noble friend Gabrielle who I've come to cherish.
But if some fool threatens her life. I guess It's hello to my past because I'll make sure I feed his flesh to him before I kill him.
The knock on my car glass brought me back to reality and I unlocked the car.
"What took you so long?" I shook Push's hand as he got in.
"Wife issues man.. We expecting soon" he smiled broadly rubbing his palms together.
"Splash! Congratulations Daddy push" I mocked.
Me and my baby soon, I know it'll be us very soon. That's why I need to set things right now.
"Thanks man. What's up though?" He asked with complete attention.
"I need you to help me get someone. He's threatening the life of a lady so dear to me" I sighed.
"Anne?" He raised his brows.
"Not that demon" I scoffed.
"Someone I'm dating now. Her name is Gabrielle Salvador"
"Oh man..a latina? They've got serious mental issues but damn You're lucky bro" he laughed.
"I know, I know..but she is a great person once you get to know her" Lord knows I feel lucky right now.
"Got a picture of the problem dude? A name or something?" He inquired.
"Picture? No. Name, Travis. Works at Barry B's Pawn shop at Chinatown street. You're very good with tracking people down no matter how deep a tunnel they hid and I trust you that's why I called you" I ran my hands through my hair.
"Wow this is the first time you're worried about a girl you really like...I'm impressed. I'll help you as long as you agree to be my son's godfather" he raised his brows for a positive answer.
"Without a doubt, I will" we shook hands before he left and I drove off to pick Gabrielle.

8:10pm
I waited for her to finish up with everything as she was on duty to close the café. Her brothers were clung onto my legs demanding for pizza endlessly! I almost lost it.. I had to actually order pizza so they could stop whining.
Gabby said nothing against them. All she did was laugh and mock my poor skills of handling children.
No correction to her mockery, I am terrible with kids. It's either I bribe them to love me or they trick me to bribe them. But above all, I love kids a lot and would love to have them with the woman I've fallen deeply for.
Though, would she still love me if she finds out about my past? Will she see am as someone else and not her love?
I wouldn't want to loose her to something I was involved in my past, I don't even want her to get to know that side of me. It's a huge shame. Even I have tried to forget it but it haunts me every night.
The only night I felt peace was when she spent the night with me. That's one of the things she's capable of doing to me.
"Oyi Romeo!" She broke my thoughts throwing a napkin at me.
Her brothers let out a giggle as they munched their pizza.
"Ouì princess?" I bowed.
She leaned on the counter and placed her hands on her cheeks "Mind telling me how the meeting with Travis went?"
Oh crap.
"I haven't found him yet. I asked a friend to help me while I look after you here" I explained.
"A friend. Did I know him or her?" She stressed the 'her'.
"It's a he. And no, you don't know him. He's an old friend. You'll meet him someday perhaps if you'd want to" I just hope she doesn't agree to.
"Okay. Well I'm ready to go now" she stretched.
"Babe, I wanna ask you for a favour" I sat opposite where she stood.
"Sure, anything I could help you with" she smiled warmly.
"Stay with me till I find out whoever it is that is threatening your life..please?" I pleaded.
"I'm sorry, what?" She laughed nervously.
"My love, the one who sent you that package is still out there. Probably watching us now. Waiting to see when you're alone so he could strike again and I don't want to take chances Gabby. " I looked into her beautiful eyes as she stood without a word.
"I can take care of myself, you know that" she protested.
"Yes, I know. You're independent and strong but I think this is a different case." I tried to make her understand but she held her hands up for me to wait.
"Different case? How do you mean?" She furrowed her brows.
I sighed" it's your life Gabby, I don't want you hurt or your brothers"
"No one is hurting me. Or my brothers. I'm scared. Yes. But, I don't think it's gonna get that bad" she pushed her hair beside her ear.
"Hey.." I held her hand and pulled her into my arms.
"Trust me on this one. Let's go to your place, get your things then over to my place. You and I know you love it there with me"
"Oh shut up" she giggled as she wrapped her little arms around my waist.
"Okay thumbellina" I mocked at her petite structure causing her to hit my tummy.

"Babe come help me out!" She yelled as she fought to open the door.
I made sure, the carlocks and alarm were all activated because the boys were asleep in the car.
"Christ!!" She screamed at the top of her voice.
I dashed into the house to find the place completely wrecked. The furniture were destroyed beyond repair and the TV set was gone. Together with the big stereo that stayed beside her CD plate rack. There were words written by what seemed like blood on the walls of the house.
"Who would do this to me?!" She ran her hands over her face in anger.
"Is this..blood?"
I moved closer to test my guess and then all of a sudden! The house was evaded with bullets flying in from here and there.
"Get down baby! Get down!"

CHAPTER 8 PART 1


"Please,d-don't do this...please" I cried,trying to release myself from his wild grasp but he didn't budge. He roughly pushed his chest to my bare back which gave him more access
Why do i feel like this dress suddenly turned into
a horrible nightmare that I wanted to be away
from?
-making me gasp at the disgusting feeling I was getting. His body was slimy,sticky and wet and I felt irritated to say the least. One of the guys blocked the exit and the other made sure no one entered or suspected anything.
I didn't know the amount of times I said my silent prayers,praying to God to help me out of this situation.
I blinked the tears back,I've watched a lot of videos and heard stories on physical assaults and rape but never imagined I was actually going to be one of them.
My worst nightmare was unfolding in my very own eyes and I could do nothing to stop it.
"I'll be gentle my princess,just don't do anything stupid or-"
"HELP!,ANYBODY!! PL- ouch!!" He yanked my hair hard,making my scalp ache. It was like someone used secateurs to rip open my head.
"What did I tell you about not doing anything stupid? I will make you regret ever crossing me,you bitch" he spat,pulling harder.
I cried loudly,but it turned to silent sobs when I was slapped across the face,making me fall on the harsh ground with a loud thud. He erupted in an heavy laugh,followed by his goons.
"Thanks,princess for making it so easy" he squatted to my position and pulled my hair away from my face,then pressed his fingers harshly to my cheeks,pulling them close to his face and I narrowed my eyes at him.
"Very pretty,innocent and wild. Lucky for you,that's
what I like " he slurred. I fought the urge to spit on his face,his mouth reeked of alcohol and then he brought it close to my mouth,wanting to capture it but I jerked away crawling to an open space and curling into a ball.
Now,i wish I didn't chicken out of the 'Tae kwon do' class my mum paid extra money on.
Close your eyes,it will all go away.
And I did,but only to return to reality,he pulled down his jeans leaving his boxer's brief on and shirt and walked to me with a wild grin on his face taking in my vulnerability. Fresh tears began gushing out from my eyes in full swing,making it blurry.
He pulled me to his hard chest again,raking his hands all over my body. I felt like garbage. Disposed garbage.
He started to reach for my zipper at my side and that alone gave me a quick push to do what I did.
"AIDEN! AIDEN! AIDEN!!!" I shouted bitterly,receiving heavy slaps from the monster of a guy. I didn't know why I yelled Aiden's name for help,I wasn't sure why his name rolled so smoothly off my tongue in my vulnerable state,I didn't know why I couldn't stop yelling his name even after I was tossed on the floor and the monster was practically on me. He raised his hand and was about to give me another hard slap but instead,he was yanked roughly away from me by someone else.
My saviour perhaps?
"What..the..Bleep..were..you..trying..to..do..huh?!!!" Aiden yelled, hitting the guy everywhere he could lay his fists on. The other two guys tried to pull Aiden away from their leader but were given two deadly punches each that knocked them out totally. The guy used his arms as shield,blocking his face. Which only aggravated Aiden more.

It wasn't bad leaving home anyway to come to the real world where I can live a normal teenage life.
It was a Monday morning when i went to school,i was lost in class,immediately Mr Patrick started teaching,a girl gorgously entered,she introduced herself as requested by Mr Patrick,her name as said was Kell Wayne,after introducing she was led to sit beside me
"Hey"she greeted me,i heard but couldn't reply causevi wasn't in the mood but was pretty sure she felt bad.
After when class was over,i stood up deciding to go to the library,on my way,i saw her on the floor,probably might have mistakenly sliped so I decided to help her and apologized for not replying when she greeted,i thought she was gona snide me after when I pulled her up but she didn't,i greeted smiling and she did the same too,we introduced ourselves and exchanged pleasantries,her name wasn't bad though, she looks wonderfully and beautifully made,smart with her dark blue eyes and her long black hair
"Hmm karl;I gotta go,teacher needs my attention"she said innocently,i was sure she didn't know the way,i showed her the way to Mr Patrick office.she thanked me,i left her blushing on my own.

Chapter 40
Katie and Tony hung around quite often after their date. First was to the cinema, next was to the gallery, another on sightseeing, one was to have breakfast. They had fun together and Tony made her smile all the time. Those activities never altered her daily work, they just boosted her morale. They worked together, they searched together, they put heads together and even dined together. Tony lifted her burden away from her shoulders and gave her a reason to stand up and live up to her mother's expectations. She shared stuffs with him and he shared too. They became best friends. He always got her back and was always there when she needed him. That was the difference between when they wee dating the last time and now, he was committed, the problem was she wasn't. She wasn't taking her chances with any guy but everything in her body wanted her to give Tony a chance since he didn't make the first mistake on purpose. Besides, not every guy is Fred. But she still enjoyed his company and the way they did things together. She had someone to laugh with, she had someone to have fun with, Tony was all she wanted in a guy. But something was wrong, something was wrong. She didn't love him, couldn't bring herself to no matter how she tried. There was no connection between them, no attraction, she didn't love him like before, maybe that was why they remained friends. She cared about him though, she did and that was all she needed.
He was in her house presently, he was having a sleepover so they could work overnight. They needed to check the security cameras in her parents' house but since its been years ago and the house had been abandoned for years, it was hard to gain access from another source, the source that was from them. So they intended on searching at midnight when all the servers would be less in use and maybe Katie could hack into the server and gain access. If it worked, they would be able to replay all that happened that night. Katie just came back from defence classes and she settled with Tony to eat lunch. "Oh Madam, this food smells great." Tony teased. "Told you to stop calling me that, silly." She chuckled as she started eating. "Why madam? Only Helena is allowed to or what? You should know ma'am, the name suits you well." He said as he too started to eat. "You crazy, you know that." She shook her head, smiling. "Crazy bout you." He replied, she just kept quiet and they ate in silence. "When will Frank be coming back and how long is the court gonna take on Wayne and Fred's case?" Katie asked some minutes later. "I checked two days ago and I think the hearing would be some weeks from now. Its being postponed because no one has paid the fees." Tony replied. "Good, buys us more time to gather enough evidence to send them all to jail at once. And Frank?" Katie asked. "He is kinda busy with his work but he promised not to miss the trial. Its better he stayed away so Georgina would not be able to make him a witness or threaten him with Jenny. I wonder why she hasn't paid the fees if she really wants to send Fred to jail." Tony remarked. Katie was lost in thoughts for a moment. "Maybe that's not her plan afterall. Like for real I wonder what she might be planning right now and I sincerely hope I'm ready for any attack she might place." She said. She felt Tony's hand on hers. "Don't worry, you are the strongest Lady in the world." He told her and she smiled. He had told him about what Helena said about her father, whom she found out to be Curtis and they were still gonna find out what really happened to Georgina's husband and why she blamed Katie's parents for it. They had a lot on their hands.
"Katie....." Tony called as she was about walking to her room to rest after lunch. Something he himself convinced her to do. "Not Madam? Interesting." She smiled but his face had changed. "I wanna talk to you, our last conversation before that operation, we didn't get to complete and now that we close, I am obliged to ask." He started as they both had their seats. Of course she knew what he was talking about, maybe it was the right time to talk about it. Besides, she wasn't feeling sleepy in the first place. "Oh yeah." She muttered. "Katie you said something about spilling the beans, what exactly did Fred tell you that made you act strictly towards me? What game were you talking about?" He asked. "Well you should be the one telling me about the game you had with Fred about playing me and knowing who would win me first, please talk." She said back. He sighed and paused for a while. "You are getting it all wrong Katie, you are getting everything all wrong and whatever Fred told you might be from his side, not mine. Actually I was still working for Georgina then but I had started having plans of going against her and telling you the whole truth. I won't lie to you Katie, I wasn't under pressure or whatever when I made that deal with Fred. The only way to get you on my side so I could tell you the whole truth was by getting close to you once again, and that wasn't possible when I noticed you were already attracted to Fred. Look how you reacted when I tried to talk to you, you would never have heard me out nor believed me, that was how I used Georgina's sources to get in touch with Fred and I found out about your date, the only way to meet you again was on the date, so I pretended it was a coincidence that I appeared at the venue of your date. I had the opportunity to get close to you. I made the deal to know how far Fred could go with you and the chances I had with you. I never intended on playing you. I was already in love with you then, believe me Katie, I was. Maybe it was Fred's intention but it was definitely not mine." Tony said. Katie's heart beat fast, she had been wrong about him and right now she knew he was telling the truth, he had the same eyes he had when he was telling her everything about his life. Maybe he hadn't been playing her afterall, her heart melted towards him. But she couldn't love him, she didn't even think she could love again, she would never allow herself to, never, but she intended on having a relationship with this guy. Love wasn't all that mattered in a relationship, love wasn't essential in a relationship. When there is respect, friendship, trust, care and companionship -she and Tony already had all that in common- it would work out just fine, life already taught her that, she wasn't the same girl that used to dream about loving her right man and living happily ever after, life doesn't give one happiness, one gets it by oneself.
"I'm sorry for misjudging you, I am so sorry." She murmured as he drew her close to him. "Its okay madam." He teased and before she could smile, his lips landed on hers and they were caught up in a passionate kiss. That afternoon they had sex for the first time, oh they did, it was intense and pure.
They both woke up late in the evening on the bed smiling unendingly at their new found relationship. They were both happy, that was all that mattered. "Guess we should continue searching, we might be lucky this time around." Katie said, trying to get out of bed but was held back by Tony. "Oh madam, I still wanna stay with you for five more minutes." Tony said, kissing her arm. "Oh Mr, you said that twenty five minutes ago, common get up now and let's get to work." She waved his hand off and stood up to get dressed. "What can I do? You are the madam." He feigned a disappointed baby face which made Katie laugh before growling at him to get up. "Okay okay." They both dressed up and went to her study room to their different computers. They got to work, Katie was busy trying to gain access by hacking the server while Tony was tracing the possible locations where Georgina could be keeping her hostages. Also while waiting for access, Katie tried to know more about Curtis and his unfortunate death. They ate some snacks while working.
"I got it, yes, I got it Tony. I'm in." Katie screamed and jumped up hard just as the screen showed 'access granted'. Tony rushed to meet her. "Wow Katie, brilliant, wooow. How did you get it?" He asked. Katie drank from her glass of juice and sighed before replying. "It was guided by the police force security all long. Georgina paid them to keep her secret. I just thought about the police and how they hadn't investigated further on my parents' death, then I hacked through their security system and boom, access was granted." She explained and stood up to embrace and kiss Tony. They settled down to check the activities of that night. As they were about to, Katie's phone rang and she regretted not switching it off to avoid disturbance. Tony urged her to answer. She picked and was shocked at the message she received. She freezed. Tony asked her impatiently to tell him what was wrong but she was void. She later found her voice. "Fred is missing, he has been missing for the past week."

"He has gone for his dance rehearsals"she answered maturely.I was Gona be going to my new school today and I wondered what is gonna be like,as I was done taking break fast,then I drove off to school.

"Yeah now"he answered and left the class,i stood up and rushed out following him while running so I could caught up with him,while running I fell down
