-For the purpose of elevating themselves from abject poverty. Most of them are poor and can't fend for themselves, hence crying for a man to come rescue them

Society is not responsible for their desperation, they are responsible for it.

Men and women are badly treated in all countries in the world, indirectly or directly. Police force do arrest yahoo and street boiz when seen at their zone just like those prostitutes were arrested, but we won't see women talk about that.

One of the major problem of an average Nigerian woman is the whack and pampering mentality they live with, they hide under the shield of "Weaker vessel" to commit atrocities and expect the society to applaud them.

Our society doesn't treat them bad. It's just that Nigerian women are yet to learn that nobody will give them power and right. They'll have to take it themselves if they set their doings right and transparent

Most women don't deserve a free minded man who gives them the little he has, they'll always want to take advantage thinking you want something stupid with/from them, which is the only thing they can offer to appreciate you. She actually requested for that money thinking the man will request a fvck from her

Until they learn how to be self-dependent, they'll aways be seen as a commodity and liability.

The posters above me have said it all. I don't think men are more content than women. On the other hand, a lot of them are greedy. They want to eat their cake and have it. That's why you see a man marrying a good but not-so-fine woman & then cheating with glamorous women outside. They can't wife the glamorous women for obvious reasons, they can't divorce their wife and spare her from emotional torture, they can't stick to only their wives & worst of all, they can't stand their wives cheating on them.

Tell me, with all these, who's really more content and happy?

Had it being you highlighted the flaws of women in a marriage, it would have being more reasonable and balance, because your post concentrated on men's flaws alone.
