I'll indulge you, its about seeing the individual first before gender, doing away with predefined gender roles and creating a society that is equitable for both genders.

Seeing that it is aspirational and not yet achieved, we need to look at exactly how both genders are placed in the society. The current construct is skewed predominantly(not entirely) in favour of the male gender so feminism seeks to level the playing field which means elevating women from their current position through legislation, advocacy and raising awareness.

The end result being people playing to their individual strengths irrespective of gender and society allowing them thrive.
