Miss used Stockholm syndrome as a sort of explanation for why women might defend patriarchy and reject feminism. The phrase was coined due to victims sometimes empathising with their abductors. Seeing that it is aspirational and not yet achieved, we need to look at exactly how both genders are placed in the society. The current construct is skewed predominantly(not entirely) in favour of the male gender so feminism seeks to level the playing field which means elevating women from their current position through legislation, advocacy and raising awareness.

The end result being people playing to their individual strengths irrespective of gender and society allowing them thrive.
