They do not accept the temporary one, right now banks don't accept anything temporal, even temporary voters card is not accepted in banks.

Banks no dey accept temporary voters card right from time. Some banks however do accept temporary national ID card. Not all banks though!

I was able to register for the national ID card today as a means to rectify the DOB ish, but I was told to come back tomorrow for submission.
But my concern is this, I don't know how long it will take them to issue the ID card to me for the to usage in bank for rectification.

They normally issue the printout or the temporary ID almost immediately after registration. I believe banks do accept the temporary one. The permanent one usually take about 2yrs.

Why do I feel a lot of persons are already leaving out mosquito nets and lamps amongst the items that should be purchased for camp. Abeg these two dey equally important as your socks and rubber shoes.

Not a bad contribution but i just may have a slightly different opinion. As much as I can see, we're already helping ourselves as regards the Nysc. You may correct me if I'm wrong but I notice that there's always a reply/response for every questions being asked.

Although, i completely understand your point of having to spend a lot of time reading too many pages just within a short space of time. But really you have to make that sacrifice. Some of these discussions you termed unnecessary and boring may become the start of a good friendship for those who may be lucky to find themselves in the same camp.

Funny enough I just noticed the vaccination part.. My school actually started issuing this certificate before the vaccination palava started.. They started last year December sef.
And to think they're charging just #2500

Pls I need help concerning my nysc.

I'm currently working and it is difficult for me to miss work for 2days not to say 3 weeks for orientation camp.
And it is important i do my nysc as my certificate is important and would go a long way in my carrier.

My question now is:

Is it possible to miss the 3 weeks orientation camp.
Is it possible for someone else to do the orientation camp thing for you.
Let's say they deploy me to kaduna or one far state, how to I go about it, because I work and live in lagos.

Dem don previously answer this your question. It is not possible to avoid going to camp unless you want to go with the next batch. Even if you dey medically unfit you must still show. Na dem go con permit u to go.

It is not possible for someone to stand in for you since you would be required to repeat the thumbprint in camp.

If your work is that important that you can't excuse yourself for the period of 3wks, i would like to believe that the pay is also actually decent as well. so why not just runs it to Lagos and then take the option of request letter or ghost service?
