No idea. I did mine at Naval Hospital, Ojo and i know even fit advice person to go there sef.

For those residing around Festac i heard the CSM vaccine is available at the Health centre in amuwo-odofin estate.

It was part of the certificate that had the Federal Republic of Nigeria that got burnt and not everything.

I was at NECO office yesterday and they said since my name, candidate number, exam number, certificate serial number, school name, grades and the NECO chairman and registrar signatures are still showing, I should do and affidavit to back it up which I did yesterday and uploaded.

I was also asked to request for confirmation of result which will be sent to NYSC as they can't give me but it will take maybe two weeks or less before they receive it in Abuja. I paid 1k for the confirmation to result and 5k5 for courier to NECO headquarters in Minna and NYSC headquarters in Abuja.

Lastly, they said since all information can still be seen, I should apply for a new certificate. The partly burnt one will be collected while a new one will be reissued at a cost of 10k but not right now sha o. It may take few months but it will be reissued.

I guess you're talking about that one at Ojo. The price is quite high for civilians. It would be much cheaper if you were to go with a military personnel. For civilians, the medical record alone is 5k let alone other tests.

Some schools only issue ID card to you once unless you are requesting for a replacement. No be every school dey take that route of fresh/new ID card for camp.

Fear thou not! You're good to go. Just make sure you complete your medical test. There's no problem in conducting the test elsewhere if that's what they told you. Try ensure you take the xray result back to the hospital you carried out the initial tests and tell them to include it in your medical report.

1. You cannot skip the X-ray. It's an important components of the test.
2. I can't really get the question but i presume you were issued a certificate/ statement of result on or after you graduated. Hope that is not what you've misplaced?

Hlo, pls in case of a missing school ID and no original result, will a police extract and court affidavit suffice

If you can get those two you may just save yourself the stress by just applying for a replacement in your school.

Yeah, I chose Lagos and an Aunt that works with NYSC is helping me out with it. She also asked that I find a place in Lagos where I want to serve so she can help. I chose Ajah, because I have relatives there willing to accommodate me. I would like to be double sure I would be posted there, so I want to go there a week before camp, to get a request letter from a firm or ministry, but I will settle for a school if I don't have one. But I just want to make sure I get posted to Ajah.

Depending on the course u read, you may not receive more than 15k serving in a ministry. You may however receive a little above that if you get a good secondary school in Ajah. Just an advice!

Another question. When you get posted to wherever for you PPA, and are rejected, do you look for any other place to accept you or do you go back to the state coordinator to get you posted somewhere else?

The answer to the first question is 'Yes'. No serious organization would accept you without asking for your CV.

To the 2nd question, I don't think you'll be afforded such opportunity. You can only be allowed to if peradventure you were posted there but they later rejected you.

I think you should take it one step at a time. I want to believe you've secured a job. If you haven't you should start working on it. I got a format from NL some months back. Just Google it & include NL while googling. By the way you don't need to tell them. As soon as you inform them about the request letter, they'll then ask you to either go compose it yourself or not worry.

Deducing from some of what you wrote i guess we're both sailing on the same boat. Did you choose Lagos?

I was told it's usually not that easy especially if it has to do with private companies in Lagos. They sort of favour public ministries and schools (private or public) when it comes to requesting for posting.
Your allawee would be paid irrespective of whether the organization where you are posted to pays you or not.
Yes you are free to walk up to any place. Na wetin u get for mouth go determine whether dem go fit assist you.
Lastly, there's a format for writing the request letter.

To start with, in your request letter make sure you leave a space where your state code would be written.
Now to your question, you'll have to take the letter with you to camp. You will also have to follow it up by relating the issue with your platoon officer. I believe he'll notify you as to when to submit the letter. But generally this is treated alongside cases of redeployment. The thing is just keep your ear to the ground while in camp.
