Last season Pep had the top2-3 squad in the league and with addition of a few players, the best currently. I have doubt He would have won the league had His defence been up to par last season.


Actually some thought He had the best squad last season hence the "Fraudiola" chants went up a notch. I have no doubts Pep's input into the squad. I was one of His staunch supporters when the Fraudiola/Baldiola chants were at it's loudest but abeg let's not sell this squad of His short.

I still believe Pep made the best out of the squad, did he buy the best players out there? definitely not, I bet you, if this City team were 3rd or 4th on the log, very few will come here to say he has the best squad, that is why I said they are the best when they play as a Team.. I'm not one for counting names when doing such comparison. A team could have 9 players better than their opponents but only Xavi and Messi is enough to make their opponents stronger. Right now, no other team has anything close to a KDB.

Like for like I take the whole Utd defence and the whole City midfield and attack in a combined team. The only Utd attacker I may make some space for is Martial, and that is marginal between him and Sterling.

Last season, Sterling's name was like an abomination to some people, Sane was just a young boy finding his feet..
