Then why are you asking? undecided
I was not the one that asked that question, but I suggested to the poster that he can proceed and get the h1b visa. I only suggested that to him and that I know some couple of people who got it that way.
I wasn't the one who asked the question. Someone else did, and I contributed to the best of my knowledge.

Just to remain in status, without having to be illegal here even for a day, since I'm done with my course. Is there any other status better than that?
Try H1b visa. That's much Better since u have finished your course, ok

Who told you the US Embassy can't verify any document? They actually do.
I mean verification at a small customary court that dissolved his marriage was in Ipetumodu, Osun state. This is a small village in Osun state where it might be difficult for verification to be done. He now asks if he can approach a higher court like the ones in Lagos where verification can easily be carried out, unlike the one in a village where the embassy might find harder to reach. Hope u get my point sir

Pls this request is from a friend of mine. He needs to know where he can get a divource certificate that will be acceptable in the US for his marriage to his new US citizen. He actually divourced his Naija wife long ago in a small customary court in ipetumodu, osun state but u know US might not be able to verify that divorce paper issued from the small city/village in ipetumodu, so he is now looking for where to get the divorce certificate that is verifyable in case the US will verify.
Pls assist

Unfortunately I don't have many answers for your questions - issues regarding deportation have to be addressed with the U.S. Customs and Immigration Service.

Regarding marriage, I have already stated that each U.S. state has its own laws and it is not possible for me to determine whether or not your wife has divorced without your knowledge, much less remarried.
Thank you very much. Pls if I happen to know where she resides in the US, will I find it easy to pass through the POE on my B1B2 visa without having issues with them ? I mean if they ask me questions about my wife at the poe and I am not able to answer correctly, like what is she doing in the US, etc.... These I can't answer as my wife has refused to tell me what she's doing there, but jus for the sake of seeing the kids is the reason for going basically. Won't I have issues at the poe if I can't answer such questions, and I claim I want to go and see her ?

If your wife is in the U.S. on a B1/B2 visa, she is there illegally.

It is unlikely that someone under these circumstances would be able to adjust status and that is usually a process that takes a long period of time. I can't really comment on her ability to divorce you without your knowledge since each state in the U.S. has different laws.
Please is there any way the US can send her back to Nigeria with my kids (deportation) ?
Besides, if I am lucky to know where she resides in the US with my kids, will I be granted the permission at the POE to see her if I have a valid visiting visa since she resides now there in the US illegally ?
Besides, is it possible she has remarried again there in the US without my consent to adjust her status ?

Good morning ma. I just got to know about this forum, and I pray that as you are educating people here, God will bless u abundantly.
Please I have a question.....
I am a 38 years old pastor, I married a Nigerian Lady in 2009 here in Nigeria and we had 3 kids ( ages 7,5,3 )
About 2 years ago, we all applied for a B1B2 visa as a family and we were all granted the visas, and we all travelled as a family to the US that year, spent just 2 weeks after we returned back home.
Unfortunately, after our return to Nigeria, I had a little misunderstanding with my wife over a small issue, she got angry and angrily travelled to the US with my 3 kids without my consent. I expected my wife and kids to return but they did not, and she did not even contact me. I tried to get her on Facebook, she told me that I should forget about her, that she and her kids are in the US now for another life that she is not returning back home. What I used to know is that she had a b1b2 visa with my kids which they all used to travel to the US but I was surprised when she told me that she and my kids have moved on with their life in the US.
By now, their visas will have expired and they are still in the US. I mailed the US embassy about it several times but I got no reply
My question is how possible is it for my wife and kids to be in the US till now ( over a year now ) still on visit visa ? Or could she have adjusted her status in the US with my kids? Could she have filed a divorce in the US without my awareness?
Since she has decided not to return to me here, I have decided to file a dicource to enable me remarry..
Loneliness has been affecting my health, i have developed chronic insomnia and Hypertension.
Could she have adjusted her status to a LPR
