Dav8id, you know what you did? You are the reason behind why I refused to show Mrnesty my domains when he offered to buy them because I thought he was another 'you'

and if you say I am lying Dav8id, I will go back to the everything you told me and how you claimed to have sold 2 domains: one that was still available to be registered (how can you sell a domain that is still avaible?) and another one that was at auction on Godaddy which does not belong to you.

People come online claiming what they are not and the likes of Dav8id are the reasons I have been acting the way I have in order to prevent people from falling prey and some other things I wont say.

E.g: Most of domains sells faster with Moniker.com than Afternic even though Afternic is more aggressive in domain sales

You can list your domain for sale in multiple domain marketplaces. These days, domain sells very fast in Domain Forums, faster than any other market places, try it

Auction is a different thing all together, you should be comparing "Buy Now" with "Make Offer" not "Auction"

Answer: Domains placed in Auction sells within days even hours but you must be willing to accept whatever the last bit is, even if it's less than the worth

I don't know why godaddy maximum amount u can set your domain price is 50k, while sedo is 10k. What about if your domain worth like $1m or more?

In real estate you have the options to buy a land and sell without developing or to develop it and sell. Any way you go about it, you must sell.

So, the direct answer to your question is YES! Big domain names just like any other domains can be sold without developing it. Most premium domains sold in the past were sold virgin. Even some that were developed (Like Wine.com and others) the buyers bought them and discard the site and use only the name and the accruing traffic.

However, if a domain name does for like $10,000 on a virgin state, be sure that it will sell for millions of dollars if well developed.

cameronese: It all depends on the quality of the domain you intend to sell. I've turned down $80,000 offer for Constative.com because what it stands for and what I intends to use it for far outweighed the price. There are some domain names that if you sell them cheaper, you just wasted them. Wealth.com it currently for sale and the asking price is $5MILLION. You can't expect the owner to sell it $100,000 or even $1m because it was registered for $10

One thing i don't understand about those expensive domains is: Can such domain be sold when it is only registered and not hosted? Can ordinary domain be sold without host while the buyer do the host?

Or a domain can only be sold after registration with hosting?

As per Buy Now, you're very wrong about the buyer that will decide. If you have a good domain and put Buy Now on ur domain, na you get the final say. As long as u set it is Buy Now and cannot be priced, if buyer see that the domain cannot be priced, na the buyer go look elsewhere, so na u get final say. Buyer only determine the final result on Auctions, not Buy Now.

Buy Now sells most than Auctions. 100%

That's where you are wrong... All those domains where picked up on drops, some GKT, but all where reg based on research not necessarily registering them just because I saw your own domains.
