Kingsnairaland: What a joke, to Ukraine military men they moved into a few empty settlements in the skirmish zone otherwise know as the GrayZone kilometres away from the actual Russian defensive lines,
they then retreated from most of them after waving a flag for the photo op before the Russians shelled them, its merely a propaganda stunt to try and placate the western backers of the proxy war,
these little moves will then be spun by the media to try and claim them as serious gains so they can try and use it to get more funding from nato lol... …. 🤷♂️ Did you read the post at all? It is the Russian official narrating there |

Foreign Affairs › Russia - Ukraine War: Insubordination In The Russian Command Structure by Dotherightthing(op): 10:39am On Jul 20, 2023 |
Despite its stout defence, Russia appeared to suffer from insubordination from top commanders.
A colleague of Major General Ivan Popov’s made his address to his troops public after he was dismissed from the command of the 58th CAA.
Popov had complained about shortcomings on the front facing a Ukrainian counteroffensive south of Orikhiv, in western Zaporizhia, directly to Russia’s Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov.
Russian military reporters said he complained that his troops needed to be rotated because they had been serving on the front lines since October. But Popov revealed other weaknesses as well, in a translation of his remarks by independent news outlet Meduza.
“I didn’t sugarcoat it. I pinpointed the main tragedy of today’s warfare: the lack of counterbattery fire, the lack of artillery reconnaissance stations, and the mass death and mutilation of all our brothers by enemy artillery,” Popov was reported as having said, suggesting that Ukraine’s counteroffensive was taking a serious toll on Russian troops.
A series of senior commander dismissals led to speculation among Russian sources on July 15 that the Russian defence ministry may be preparing to arrest Airborne Forces (VDV) Commander Colonel General Mikhail Teplinsky.
Russian military reporters posted an audio excerpt the following day, purporting to be elements of the 7th VDV Division threatening to withdraw from their positions in occupied Kherson if the Russian defence establishment arrested Teplinsky.
The dismissal of Popov and speculation over Teplinsky came after the Wagner mercenary group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin mutinied against the defence ministry command last month.
“Popov’s… Teplinsky’s and… Prigozhin’s challenges to [Chief of Staff Valery] Gerasimov’s and [defence minister Sergei] Shoigu’s authority have established a precedent for insubordination that can hollow out support for the Russian military command among senior officers,” said the Washington-based Institute for the Study of War.
SOURCE: AL JAZEERA @Pro-Putin l*natics, Russians troops are being decimated in the battlefield. Even the diehard Wagner fighters have said they won't fight in Ukraine anymore. Ukraine would rather lose territory than men. In the current counteroffensive, Ukraine have recovered territory in weeks that it took Russia months to claim |

jmoore: There is a standard. That's why the substandard ones are illegal.
The communities hosting the illegal refineries have their rivers polluted and you are not worried about environment. You give them free fishes so they won't go to the polluted rivers to fish? All these are because they are not regulated. By the time you recognize and regulate them, they will do things better. |

jmoore: Go and get a license if you want to refine crude oil.
Automatic conversion of illegal refineries to legal ones is sheer ignorance. Have you seen the environment where those criminals refine crudeoil? That is why the FG should come in and standardize the process. If they are legalised, they can easily be shown how to do things better. We are talking about reducing hardship, you are talking about environment |
Politics › Subsidy Removal: FG Should Legalise Illegal Refineries In The Niger Delta... by Dotherightthing(op): 9:55am On Jul 19, 2023 |
The only solution to this harsh impact of subsidy removal is local production.
For now, I don't think Dangote refinery is commencing anytime soon.
Other licensed refineries have also been dragging their feet.
However, we know of illegal refineries in the Niger Delta. They are good at what they do. They refine this crude oil and produce diesel, kerosine and petrol albeit by crude means.
This crude technology should be replicated all over the country, standardized and regulated.
It's time for us to have 2 options of fuel - local and imported. Go for the one that suits you.
Someone should sell this idea to the FG. It is the only way forward.
When I was in PH, I used to buy locally refined kerosine and it was NGN150 - NGN200 per bottle(1.5litrs) at the time. |
Politics › Re: Peter Obi Failed To Show He Scored Majority Votes, INEC Tells Court by Dotherightthing: 10:55pm On Jul 18, 2023 |
DoTheNeedful: A lot of Obidients thrive on conspiracy theories, lies and misinformation. Unfortunately, many unscrupulous elements are feeding on these weaknesses to grow their social media and YouTube following e.g. NedMedia.
We have been telling them that Obi didn't prove anything in court for the court to rule in his favor. He has not been able to show the court the number of votes that he was deprived of, the number of votes to be subtracted from Tinubu's and/or Atiku's votes. He has also not shown how the non-transmission of the votes to IREV has affected him. If you are familiar with court judgements about elections in Nigeria, you would know that these are usually the things judges base their decisions on.
I can bet on everything I have in this world that the court will not deliver victory for Obi, maybe a rerun at best. The very intelligent among the Obidients know this and that is why they are looking into disqualifying Tinubu based on other technicalities like the so called Shettima double nomination and so on. No rerun anywhere! Peter Obi's petition will be flung out of the window |
