I don't think a bank can be so sloppy as to just freeze someone's account who didn't receive proceeds of fraud and they are not sure the person gave value for the money received without having done due diligence to trace the funds. They're playing with lawsuit if truly they do that

GOD BLESS YOU, SIR. You have said all i wanted to say. When i have complaints, i mail them directly and they respond on time. This is the main reason i can't leave them for other banks!

I can say the pros and cons of some banks to an extent. When I tell people to open union bank the next thing I hear is "that old bank, it's for old people" then I laugh

In this case the real owner of the account might show up and you won't be able to recognize him coz the money was fraudulently transferred from his account. Most cases I've seen the account owner might even be in maiduguri and you will be in lagos. How do you expect him to come see you?

What am trying to say is that the real owner has some explanations to make if the transfer was done via USSD, I doubt you can carry out a USSD transaction without the SIM you used in registering with the bank as with this case the account number and password of the account including the sim are with the person that transfer the money how come? But as you've said the banks might not be bothered

Union bank is a reliable bank, their hospitality is gallant. They don't charge or deduct money unnecessarily. Sometimes when i have complaints, i don't have to visit the bank before they fix any error. I don't know about the branch in your area tho but union bank is very reliable.

Seconded I really hope this merger isn't true, there customer service is top notch once I have any problem I message them directly on twitter and they respond within hours unlike access (i wonder who is running there social medias for them very stupid people they will never reply you) if you call union bank customer care on phone they are quick to pick unlike zenith Bank and access where you will waste alot of card and still they will not pick, looking at a good bank goes beyond network, Union Bank has passed every test so far, but unfortunately some people can't bank with them all in the name of "old". They have forgotten that the leading universities in Nigeria are those created for our four father's. It's so sad to hear about this merger.

If I were you I will go to the bank and demand to see the person that reported me, he needs to explain how is account number and ATM card got to someone else's hand, GOD helping you, you said the transfer was done via USSD that means his sim was also at the wrong hands if you've done no wrong you have the right to explain yourself even if you will be arrested still tell them thesame thing, if you go there with the aim of paying back that easily they might hold you for fraud

1. For School cert no. Input your matric nbr as it on your statement of results ( it's an evident that can not be disputed)
2. For NECO use cert serial nbr.
3. Input A00****** for NYSC Cert no and the year you obtained it. Ie. If finished march 2020. Input 2020

Hello sir, I have read everything from page one to this present page and this is what I have to say.

Have they stated it clearly that they weren't going to pay you?

They ask you to go see there legal department and you mentioned that can they act in such a way to the big brands like CNN, I want you to know that you are not yet CNN and you have proven that my not getting a legally signed contract cos that's what the big brands would do so please go listen to what they have to say and bring us feedback

Did they pay you for the iPads?

Whilst it is clear that they are trying to cheat you, majority of the people that has contributed to this sad event has asked you to visit there legal department and let us know what they have to say you, disregarding such suggestions will only make it difficult for you to see people who are willing to help you or is there something you know that we don't?

It seems the motive of you coming here on NL is to look for people who will help you stage a protest or people who will help you beg or tweet and retweet until someone high up there sees it and do something because all you kept saying is "help me beg first bank to pay us" my dear nobody will beg anybody for you cos we don't really know where the truth lies only the court can decide.

To first bank and her allies I must say A very big SHAME ON YOU.
