@Nichesiteseo Hey Boss, I'm thinking of going into the Education Niche, what do you think about it? I'm presently a corp member and I would be through with Service by October, that's when I intend to start. |
I don't think such issues are applicable in Lagos, when my mother's phone which was close to a year screen stopped responding without any crack on the phone, it was repaired for her for free although it took longer than usual. |
SchoolBlog:So you were able to come up with a 400 word article in 40 mins? |
I allied for this, but I couldn't write 400 words in 40 minutes o, no topic, I just had to spin something from midair. I think I wrote 255 words ![]() All the best to those who have been recruited already |

Tech giant Google says it plans on training 10 million Africans in the next five years in avid to make them empowered for employment, this was contained in a speech given by Google's CEO, Sundar Pichai, at the "Google For Nigeria" event held in Lagos today Thursday, 27th of July, 2017. This pledge by Google marks a further expansion of an initiative that it launched in April 2016 to train young Africans in digital skills. In March the company announced that it had reached its initial target of training one million people. The company is "committing to prepare another 10 million people for jobs of the future in the next five years," Google Chief Executive Sundar Pichai told a company conference in Nigeria's commercial capital of Lagos. Google said it will offer a combination of in-person and online training. Google has said on its blog that it carries out the training in languages including Swahili, Hausa and Zulu and tries to ensure that at least 40 percent of people trained are women. However, it wasn't stated whether the training would be free or how much it would cost. The U.S. technology giant also hopes to train 100,000 software developers in Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa, a company spokeswoman said. Mercy and John got married yesterday, 26th of August, 2017, but their pre wedding photos caught our eye. The Groom, John, is a journalist, actor, author and a filmmaker and he specially requested for the photographer, @roskoddy_designs, who is also a graphics designer to design something like a movie poster for him and the graphics designer came up with this. Here's what the graphics posted in a Facebook for graphics designers on Facebook: "Decided to post these today, might inspire some1. Tagged: MERCY + JOHN the Movies. Tools: Ps CS6 + Corel X7 @johnoguntuase is my friend. He's a journalist, an author, vibrant actor and film maker. He's known for his several short films and has been part of many gospel movies. Now John is getting married (today). He consigned me to design his Pre-weddings to look like movie posters which will obviously represent his personality. I'd the photoshoot well directed and did some photo manipulations to make an interesting scenes and put them together into a nice design, passionately. He was so impressed when I came up with these...are you too? Let me know what you think about the designs as an artist. Thanks. @roskoddy_designs". What do you think? This Season is actually making mad sense. I wonder what Jaha would do now? What would happen to Raven? will she save them? What about Monty and his babe? Chaye... |
If you want it to make front page tomorrow, just modify the topic to "Man grabs his fiancée's @ss(use an appropriate word that is acceptable on NL) in this cute pre wedding photos", then shout Lalasticlala |
MhizTemmy:Yes, seriously! The Journey to Kebbi from Lagos is between 16-19 hours, depending on your driver and how frequently you guys stop on the road. The state is quite peaceful, but the weather conditions here are usually extreme, I mean too much sun when it is "Sunny season", too much rain and the harmattan is something else. Concerning the Sun ehn, it hasn't affected me all that much, because I came home recently and I'm being told I look Fresher than I was at home . I think the secret is I stay indoors immediately after I'm through for the day with my PPA.If you're posted in a school, you might enjoy it a bit, depending on where you're posted. Nursery school closes by 12pm, Primary 1pm and Secondary by 2pm. Some public schools usually request that a corp member comes to teach once in a week, private school might be everyday, like mine, but you don't get bored like others. If you're posted to a Government Agency or a Ministry, no work at all for you, even if they'd ask you to report at office, it'll be once and all you'll be doing is " looku looku". Kebbi State pays N2,000 to corp members posted to their own State agencies or public schools who do not pay corp members. Private institutions, schools and Federal Government agencies and the likes pay their corp members themselves, it could range from N4,000 - N150,000(Heard of a Corp member posted to CBN receiving that amount). Their main language there is Hausa of course, so there is a little language barrier, so you it might be hard to cope for like a month, if you're the type that your PPA demands that you be at work everyday. But this helps you to learn Hausa quickly. I would continue later or you can ask me specific questions so I would be able to reply and by the way Kebbi State has one of the best camps in Nigeria |
MhizTemmy:Let me indirectly welcome you to Kebbi, that you picked Kebbi State, it is automatic posting. I'm a Batch B corp member serving there.. |
successmatters:Your thinking is not straight at all and ignorance is written all over your post. How can you ask "how many people does autism kill in a year?" Do you know what family that have these children go through or what the children with autism go through at all? Instead of carrying your hate to infest and derail this thread, open a new thread and spew your hate there. It wouldn't be bad of you to lead the "Walk against the government" and I'm sure if they call for one sef, you wouldn't turn up either.
|
Your headline is rather misleading, how can you call an "Awareness Walk" a "Walk Against Autism". Are they planning to protest against Autism or create more Awareness about the disorder? Nigerians ehn |

Good evening Op, lovely Job here I must say and a highly commendable personal project that you executed. I'm a Batch B '16 corp member presently serving at Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State. I really want to do a personal project, but I currently do not have an idea on what to do. |
uzomanny:Lol as in ehn, but funny enough I got a reversal alert on the "Salary Administration Fee" today, I don't know if it's the post that caused it or something else or they noticed it was a "mistake" |
uzomanny:Exactly!!! I'm baffled too and I guess probably because they didn't send alert showing the deduction that's why most people aren't complaining and they aren't aware. They debited N210 from one's account within a space of two days and this trend might continue every month if we do not complain. Imagine, today I heard they deducted N2,000 from Batch B Stream II, 2017 corp members account. For what ![]() |
dayjeee:Wow! Sorry about that. Thank God, finally there's a fellow corp member speaking out. This deal that the NYSC management decided to have with Access Bank is really affecting us. |
Access Bank PLC has started deducting additional fraudulent charges from corp members accounts asides from the normal "Admin Fee" they deduct monthly, yesterday they also added a new fraudulent fee called "Salary Admin Fee" which Corpers were charged N105. The funny thing about it is that they didn't send alert for deduction of the said fee(s), both "Admin Fee' and "Salary Admin Fee", it was while checking my last transactions with the Access Bank App that I noticed this FRAUDULENT deduction. Why would they deduct N105 from Corp Members account who are constantly trying to survive with the little stipend they are given monthly. If they want to justify this deduction why didn't they send alert, why weren't they deducting this fee before? Is the same obtainable with Corp Members using other Bank Accounts for their Monthly Allawee? The answer is no, only Access Bank come up with these fraudulent charges on Corp Members Account. And it isn't their fault, it is the Federal Government and NYSC Management's fault that forced Corp Members to open an account with them for our monthly allawee that caused it. Corp Members(most especially Batch B) can confirm this by logging into their Access Mobile Banking App to see the fraudulent deduction, by clicking on the " Solo Account" balance displayed when they login into their account. Access Bank must refund our money and also explain to us why they had to deduct such amount and why they didn't send alert to us after debiting us. Corp Members let's share this across all social media platforms until it reaches the right authorities. Dotun, Batch B(Stream I) Corp Member, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.

It is not just any hospital: you're to get it from a Government or Military Hospital. So don't just walk down to any hospital |
