@ chukudi44 stop speaking too much grammar. The issue here is a very simple one . No one has said that the Senate does nor have the right to change it's rules. The critical question is : DID THEY CHANGE IT? If it can be established that the seventh Senate did not change it's Rules and yet, the rules rules used in the election of the officers of the 8th Senate is different in content, then it means some people have illegaly amended it, and that's forgery and a criminal offense. And IF it is so, it won't matter how big those people are. |
The article majorly attributed the biggest reason foe the improvement in reduction of vandalism. In fact, at a point, the article says : " The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC ) Joint Venture companies also confirmed that there have not been any incidents of vandalisation of pipelines in the past one month . This has resulted in increased and sustainable gas supply to the power sector ." The question now is why has the vandalism suddenly stopped. It would appear the so much publicised vandalism of our pipelines are State-Assisted vandalism. Delibarate sabotage so that some people will continue to profit from lack of power supply through the importation of generators and selling of diesel. Or seriously, why? Why the sudden drop? Has the police or the army changed? Or the site of the pipes? The only that has changes is the PDP government that IA no longer in charge. |
barcanista:Please stop making a foo.l of yourself. Are you the one to speak for Jonathan? It is evident to even a fool that Jonathan and his co-travellers looted our treasury significantly. It is evident to anyone that he will of course be worries about being probed and humiliated. Ngozi Iweala after been publicly queried about 2.1 billion dollars depletion of the Exess Crude Account, finally said: Jonathan told me to withdraw it. She has shifted the responsibility to Jonathan. It is obvious that a follow up on the matter will indict the former president. And that is just one case among several. The NLNG account is still there as well as numerous others. So when you make statement like above, it really rubbishes your integrity and says aloud your brilliance/intelligence is primarily used for cunning and not wisdom. |
so many stu.pid people on Nairaland. Only stupi.d people will believe that the President Buhari will dignify Radio Biafra or whatever it calls itself with a reply. what sort of people on Nairaland of today sef; no thinking faculty. They just believe a anything. |
Nairaland.... what a pity... now just populated by so much nonentities...... |
fitzmayowa:you do at least realize there is a difference between the APC and the Presidency. and the NNPC as it functioning now still has the spirit of PDP in it. and I think they were found out, and that's why APC is making it public. but you do have a point that APC is the party in power. |
The reason why Oshiomole is bringing up the accusations is irrelevant. What is relevant is whether the accusations are facts and is the truth. In any system, a whistle blower will always have a reason to blow the whistle on a fraudulent or corrupt act. Whether it's a genuine moral burden or for his/her own benefit is irrelevant. What then do you say about about "whistle blowers act" which may even offer financial rewards to whistle blowers. No one cares about Oshiomole's reasons. We only care whether they are true or not. |
The mother is so on point demanding a full investigation into his death. They just reported that he drowned while swimming with his mates. Why did he drown? How did he drown? Why didn't anyone else? How does one drown while swimming in the midst of a rugby team.? There may be so foul play involved in his death, which someone may be trying to cover up. |
dearpreye:so what are you saying? we should have continued with GEJ? why are you people so blinded by bigotry and ethnicism? even as it is now, though corruption has not been vanquished, but the tide of corruption has already been stemmed. A lot of things are already different. |
adconline:It's not as simple as you say. If Saraki continues to stall the National budget for no good reason, he'll be setting himself up for serious problems. Also making himself seriously unpopular. even though he's senate president, he is just one senator in the house. |
Pavarottii:rubbish talk. so obvious you just pained because of GEJ's loss. PMB government at it's worst will still be 100 ten better than GEJ's government. You know why : because PMB is not interested in stealing or helping his friends to steal ; second, because he has good intentions. |
I believe in PMB buy I blame him for this. If he backed Tinubu and worked with him to determine the outcome of leadership of the National Assembly, he won't be going through this problems now, and this is only the beginning. |
madgoat:you took the words right out of my mouth. there is something wrong with the story. it doesn't add up. gave the phone to their 4 year old son to record him having sex with the 6 year old daughter? what kind of sex? can still relate to fingering her while bathing her. was he penetrating, that is going out and coming out of her? |
for that singular act of such a stupid and treacherous question on twitter, the man deserves a suspension from the party. what exactly is he trying to do? Redicule APC? Redicule PMB? The very two important platforms on which made him to win his seat. if he believed there is no differene, why then didn't he remain in PDP? Anyway, in case he is nor intelligent enough to realize it, he is confessing to Nigerians and his constituency that he only used the integrity of the name of PMB and the change slogan of APC to scam them. |
Half a million; lord have mercy!!! |
Buhaari meeting with Saraki in private will definitely send the wrong signals; that he solidly behind Saraki's behaviour. Some party me me beer already suspecting or accusing of this. Clearly, Saraki's motive wanting to have a private meetings with the President is to be seen as being supported by the President, and therefore, every other person can go to hell. And what does Saraki expect. How can you give a seating APC president a PDP Senate Deputy President and expect him to be smiley and jolly with you. Buahari I believe intends to limit his relationship with Saraki to purely official. Yes, power play and strategy is expected in the tussle for the Senate leadership, but Saraki's kind of strategy is just too treacherous. He didn't care about putting the while party in jeopardy just to satisfy his personal ambition. And after that, he expects to have rosy relationships with the leaders of the party. Does he think they are foo.ls.? The truth the party APC can never trust Saraki again. Maybe PDP can. |
stupid boy |
I find it amazing and unbelievable that some fellows take this story to be truth. find it amazing that some fellows can't tell right away that this is just a hoax. some people can be so easily fooled sha |
nonsense thread. People just propounding and propagating senseless threads based on their highly bigoted perception. |
CharlesPhc:please remind me her designation in the last Administration again. I seem to have forgotten. |
you may not have stolen the money, but if large amount of money disappeared under your care as Finance Minister, then you are needed to answer questions on whereabouts of the money. Can she do such in any of the western institutions that she had worked? |
lumzybo:mediocre mentality. That is what's worrying you; and even more acutely, the people of Ekiti. They mediocres who can be hoodwinked easily by meaningless escapdes, Yvette such which Fayose doles out them on a weekly basis. Any deceitful person can do this. it's no big deal. Is that what will make the life of the citizens better. |
little by little, change is happening; precedence is being laid down; things that people think can happen soon it will go round |

histemple:I believe what she's trying to say, or meant to say is that, she was strong enough to foil his attempt. That is strong enough to prevent him from gaining entrance into her garden. For her to tear her pant, it was no doubt a serious battle. |

people should be banned for posting such to the political section. |
barcanista:You have really become shameless. You are just looking for anyway to paint Buhari bad even if makes you look like a foo.l. I don't even know who is more daf.t? You or the brainless economist? Why do people like to play around with words and semantics ? And many Nairalanders are already going with the argument. I've said it before, Nairaland is now full of people with low IQ. People that lack basic understanding in simple logics. So if I had a company, and the company has 500 million in the account. I went for a 1 year break and left my younger brother in charge. When I came back, I met a balance of 45 million in the said account. So if I shouted that my brother as virtually emptied my company account, you would say it a lie, that the account is not empty because there is still 45 million inside. How stup.id and bigoted can you be? |
Haters should go and die of blood pressure generated from their so much hatred. This is what Buhari has decided to do : instead of going through the normal route which has been failing; that is arrest these people, bring up charges against them, while they now hire a dozen of SANS with their loot and the case remains in court for two years with the SANS devising all sorts of legal stunts and exploring loopholes to frustrate the government. If he takes the normal route, how many loots will he be able to recover, with all sorts of traitors and PDP Sympathisers abounding in EFFC/ICPC that will be feeding the looters info. So instead of wasting time and resources, Baba is going for the kill; he is going for their loot. They locate your loot, repatriate with or without your support or consent. Anyone that wants to make trouble will be asked to tell the nation how exactly he made such amounts of millions of dollars. It's the best way, locate the loot, and then, let the owner of the loot come and explain how he made the money. Inability to demonstrate this means the money belongs to Nigeria. |
Honestly, tired of arguing points on Nairaland. The forum now full of so many kids and ignoramus it's a waste of time. Their mind are so easily manipulated by clever words of twisting of situations by anyone. They are hardly aware of any facts. They just sway with the wind. For instance, the military were taken of the roads so that police can take over, because it should actually be the job of the police. Then saying allies of Bokoharam are now in power is just a continuation of pile of rubbish he has always being vomiting; without even having any semblance of evidence of any plausible explanation. If he continues accusing Buhari of being Boko Haram leader, I think he should be invited by security agents to give evidence or at least reasonable explanation of why he believes it to be so, and if he can't, the next time he shoots his mouth off, he should be arrested. I expect only 100 percent bigoted fellows like Mogidi to take anything an FFK says as sensible . The guy with his mouth and senseless talks did much damage to GEJ's campeign. |
He never said military can't defeat Boko Haram. Nairaland has become something unpleasant. Seun should hire paid moderators. Why does he like awoof so much. |
