Congratulations Blendy!!!I'm so so happy for you. The Lord will keep you and these blessed ones, strength from above will be your portion...I'm so excited. It is well with you. For me,the IVF cycle starts in few weeks @ Georges.. Hmmm...My emotions' been a mixture of "everything"...... For all waiting moms, our joy shall surely be full. Love you all. |
Congratulations Blendy, wish you a pleasant nine months. Thanks for all your contributions on IVF related threads,I've benefited a lot from them. Thanks to you,I got to know about Georges,we're really trusting God to grant our heart desires. Take care of yourself mummy, nuff lurv. |
Congratulations Olikili, wishing you all the best mummy. @Pizzashaw and Abibyy, your story brought tears to my eyes,I pray God grant you your heart desires soon . @Pslm 23,good to read from you,I check almost everyday looking out for news from you, very very soon, you'll sing a new song mummy. For me, this thread has really inspired me, I got info about a particular Dr(Dr Emeka of Georges) on a related thread(cost of IVF in Nigeria),we've been talking to him on phone for a while, filled the fertility questionnaire, finally travelled to see him last weekend. I'll say I was impressed compared to other places we've been to. We've set the ball in motion already,DH and I had series of blood work done,I also had TVS amongst other things...I was depressed when we had the fluid analysis result cos it's dropped(sky rocketed few months ago, only God knows what happened again). The doc was so happy with my result, more so,I'm a bit under 30. So, Dh was given wellman conception amongst other things, cos we don't want any reduction in those swimmers by God's grace before and after the IVF/ICSI. AF was supposed to show yesterday so we can go on to the next step,I dunno what's happening o. This past four years has really STRESSED me up but I know surely there is an end and my expectations shall not be cut short. I keep you all in my prayers. It is well with us all. |
Udoka luv, happy anniversary. It is well my dear. Like it's been said,it's ok to cry but please, don't dwell on that address. I tell u,surely there is an end and our expectations shall not be cut short. Enjoy and mark this day, give yourself and your DH a nice time inside and outside(you know what I mean...**winks**)...in short, swits, put the devil to shame. No one and nothing will steal your joy. @All,stay strong my people. There are moments I actually feel down,in fact when the ugly AF showed up 2days ago,I said I won't cry,but before I knew what was happening I broke down. The thing too regular sef...haba!!I'll be so happy to miss it and get a BFP instead...hmmm,it is well. We're already thinking of going the IVF route, remember me in your prayers. This TTC thing don stress me up no be small.. It is well people, drums and loads of baby dust to all. Do have a fruitful weekend. |
Nubian Queen, that was so inspiring. Stay strong sis!**big hug** |
Hello ladies, just checking up on everyone,I come in here everyday and I draw up strength in no small measure from all that I read...I'm really hopeful things work out well this cycle..DH's count and morphology's seriously improved,I just don't know how to help myself combat stress....Whew!!!and of recent,I started treating ulcer with serious pains that radiates to the back and neck,I pray for total healing cos I just don't want any impairment to conception and delivery of the great ones I'm bringing forth...stay strong ladies,we'll be recording better stories soon and our names will change for good. Loads of baby on all. P.S: pls I need suggestions on how to combat this ulcer and back pains, had an endoscopy to check and the result was ok,I'm tired of all this drugs..abeg..any suggestions pleaassseee...this nagging back pain don tire me o... |
Thanks Champs and everyone for your words of encouragement. Fact is,it's not been easy!Looking @ the IVF path if nothing happens by June, @Gen. Buhari, big congratulations to you guys @Agiboma,thanks for starting that thread, quite a lovely and educative one. |
@Gen Buhari, you kinda just expressed my opinion. @Believer84,pls I think you need to get a 2nd opinion from another Urologist(hope I got the name right),it could be a blockage ,variscose veins around his vas deferens(which can be corrected surgically I learnt);I also think you should get a second opinion on the testosterone shots ASAP. Stay strong. Baby dust to all ladies in the house. Do have a fab weekend. |
@Believer84,this just came to my mind-try and cut down on "junk" food and eat more of natural things,we had to change our diet. Also,if he's quite "too fleshy",trimming down a bit could also work.It is well |
MSTIA: @double blessing nice to have you here. while reading your comment a word dropped in my heart, You shall carry your double blessing soon. I too will be 4 years this year, but I am confident that in no time my bundlessssss of Joyyyyyyyy will arrive. because i know that as we do our part in achieving our goals, God who is the sole giver of children is faithful, as he will surely perfect his works in our live @all sending loads of baby dust your way. God bless y'allAmen,we will all have good news to share soon.Stay strong. |
@Believer84,we're actually having almost the same issues,is there anything like an infection from the result of the first test your DH did?if there's any trace of infection,I'll advice it's properly looked into. In our case the 1st test DH did,it was a total count of 10,000...that was really a down casting moment for us,he was treated for an infection(injection shots and drugs).Even if we were to go for an IVF option then, the count was way too low.The count improved to 2million(after 4months) with better motility. He started a series of supplements thereafter(Zinc-50mg,vitamin A-10,000IU,vitamin E-1000IU ,vitamin C-1000IU,folic acid and ho-r-ny goat weed). After three months, the count improved to 8million,better motility, much more higher volume.Presently,he's still on the same supplements with the exception of Hot goat weed;he's now on ADDYZOA(you can google it)-All these were on the recommendation of our doc. Lest I forget,he also did an immuno assay test(FSH,LH,prolactin and Testosterone tests). We're seriously trusting God for our own miracle.Pls try as much as possible to be there for him,I know how trying it can be,but being too"emotional",I've realized can't solve the problem. I've been trying to take my mind off ttc,but...hmmm,it's not easy...4th year anniversary is just some months away.It is well. To all ladies TTC,stay strong,I've been a silent reader for a while now and I can say I've drawn strength from the courage of a lot of ladies here.Very soon, our names and stories would change. Love you all |
Congrats Sammy @Rust,thanks for the enlightenment. We'll try and get ma nix ASAP. Baby dust to all |
Now I'm confused;what kind of leaking is normal, immediately after BD or minutes later?DH has low fluid count,I've done HSG(no probs on that).there is something yorubas call "EDA",is that the same as fluid coming out after sex?I'll appreciate any enlightenment on this |
pslm swits, surely there is an end,and your expectations shall not be cut short!Be happy and strong sis! |
I can only imagine what you've been through, The lord will give you the strength you need and by HIS grace, not just a BFP,but a pregnancy and delivery period you will enjoy. You are in my prayers. Been TTC for 3years now,DH has low fluid count, though there's been tremendous improvement, but it's not been EASY at all, I even met a doc here in naija that said I should leave my husband(though not in dh's presence),but I'm so +ve now that that story will soon change because we aint folding our arms, my sister,God is your strength jare |
@horny4u,yeah,it's not just academics been learnt in school, but I think if she feels her child is emotionally stable to cope with JS1,then,no cause for alarm.Absolutely not in support of boarding house as well cos what goes on in the boarding school this days is scary to say the least, there will still be some kids that will start JS1 @age 12,and you will just be speechless @ how dumb some could be, I lecture in a uni and my dear,we see all sorts, it all depends on the judgement the OP can make about her daughter as per her emotional stability. |
9ja mum, blank has said it all, got into JS1 as well in @age 8,d tiniest in the school then, finished @14 as the headgirl and with a waoh result, @20,I had my 1st degree already, But pls,ur baby still needs all the support she can get,it'll go a long way to help her stabilise emotionally. God is your strength |
I've been a silent member of this group and from various stories,'ve been able to draw some strength. I've been TTC for 3years now and it's not been easy, but I just believe that surely there's an end.DH was diagnosed of low fluid count a year after our wedding,it was really heart shattering for us, he's been on various medications, there's been a drastic improvement going by the last count/tests and I'm so sure that soon,I'll give a praise report, it's not been easy, To every woman/man who's waiting and trying, try not to worry, love your spouse more no matter the pressure(for me,I love my DH more than before, even though we courted for 5yrs before getting married),see the situation as a challenge and not a problem;see this period as a time of EXERCISING YOUR FAITH MUSCLES,keep the romance fire burning, (I'm really trying hard here as well cos there was a time I got tired of baby dancing, but I had to snap out of the mood cos babies won't jump from the skies, )Love u all people, tanx Arlington for starting dis group, ur doggedness really inspired me, |
