Beauty for ashes,it is well with you. You will sing a new song soon. Had same issues(waited for 5years)before our song changed. At a point hubby's count was 0.01*10 to the power of 6. Get the infection treated,no fitted trousers, good diet(pumped hubby with lots of boiled groundnut,at a point he was even taking the groundnuts raw, carrots, cucumber, walnut, tigernuts(atimes I process into milk),cut down on sugar fortified food and drinks. Take folic acid, zinc and vit e supplement as advised. At a point, hubby was using wellman conception and later reproaid. I tell you God is not dead and He will surely quicken your mortal bodies to respond to His word. I hail everyone o,the lord will perfect all that concerns us all in Jesus name. |
Congratulations Abibby,so happy for you. God bless them all and renew your strength. One of the things I got from this thread while waiting was emotional support and wonderful friends, abeg people, can we just IGNORE"people" that come to derail and cause confusion here while stylishly marketing whatever they have come to sell? I so much detest "cyber rifts" in whatever ways it may want to show, these guys are just so annoying. I hail everyone o.Remember,HE has not forgotten you and He still does wonders past finding out.Stay strong and dont lose focus.Your efforts will not be in vain. |
Congratulations dear brother,God has indeed given you a new song. God bless these great generals and renew your wife's strength. For everyone trusting God for a blessing as this, you are next in line. Love ya all my people. |

Hello mummies and daddies.Trust we're all doing great. Thanks Udoka for checking on me...counting days. Trust you're good too. @Mary gold,I started having swollen feet around 34weeks,checked with my doc,BP normal and urinalysis ,normal. I notice it's usually worse in the evenings, normal in the a.m. I prop up and stretch my feet on a stool, don't stand for long and I try to sleep on my left side most of the time. Check your vitals and maybe have your urinalysis done. It is well with us all. |
I'm also an october mum. I do have swollen feet, though in the evenings. Bp is normal and no headaches. It gets better as soon as I lie down though. My main problem is gastro issues, seems I can't keep any food down,it's worse when I take cold water(I'm an ulcer patient),I really need God's touch. 35weeks now. |
It is well with you hummingbird. Pls take your medications as prescribed and rest well.(((Hugs))) |
Honiepie24,thanks a ton. I'll check for the washing bar. Ok queen Labisi. Bought persil, will have to unpack all our arranged things and wash. For hospital needs, pls I'm also interested.Though, I've packed Sleepsuits(7),diapers,baby hairbrush/comb,baby nail cutter, caps&mittens, baby blankets, shawl, baby soap, oil&lotion(though I plan to use shea butter/coconut oil when we get back home by His grace),dettol, mentholatum(that's all I can remember now). For me:pyjamas, sanitary towel, disposable panties, nursing bras. Not forgetting hairbrush, phone/other gadgets charger,as well as other girly needs when the time comes. Though I'll ask for a hospital list when I go 4my ANC later today. |
My prayer too is 38weeks o,33weeks+ now. I made the wooden baby drawer,5layers,with the upper drawer partitioned into two(door-like),and the drawers lined with formica inside(made it 25k),saw a ready-made for 40k. I prefer d wooden to plastic, though I've one of those plastic ones I got as a gift then,it will still serve a purpose or two. Pls I have a question o...Should baby clothes, blankets et al be washed before use?hubby says it should be washed, some of my friends said they washed theirs,Is it really necessary? Also, how good is persil for washing baby clothes? Thanks all. |

Thanks Byvan,Dbard & everyone who's contributed on this episiotomy issue,I get goose bumps anytime I think about it. My body weight at 8weeks preggy was 52kg,now,I'm 66kg,but it's not really showing on my body;meanwhile eating is such a great task for me,guess baby's taking all the extra ... |

Pele hummingbird, pls try and rest o. I learnt pap and kunu helps breast milk flow;but pls watch your sugar intake(especially from beverages) cos of yourself and the great ones. For me,it's like 1st trimester symptoms are back o(nausea and throwing up),though I'm an ulcer patient,I dunno what to do,it's so frustrating. Also,I'll like to ask:pls which is better for newborn, boots products or Johnson's? Do have a fruitful day people. |

Thank you so much my dear sisters and brother. Our efforts will not be in vain in Jesus name. Thanks Blendy, love you beyond words. God bless you. My people,Just as Inwangobio said " don't give up on God cos He won't give up on you,HE's able! This thread will continually record more positive news in Jesus name. Amen |
Hello everyone. Congratulations Inwangobio,God who has started this good work in your home will see you through.Your joy will be full by His grace. As for everyone on this thread(be it you are down regulating,on EC or ET/2ww or even if you are just thinking of trying any ART,our joy will surely be full!God is too faithful to fail, even if we've thought of many "why me",just hold on. I've learnt perseverance on this thread, please don't give up. God bless Dr Emeka,Dr Shuaibu and all those great doctors with human feelings. Hmmm, now to my story.(Pls,my story is just to encourage someone, don't give up,don't let worry or what people may say or are saying deter you,the Lord will meet all our needs(physical, emotional and financial) I've been an on and off member on this thread and God has blessed me a lot here. We had male fertility issues(married for four years + now).Last june,we started our first ivf/icsi(with a fluid count of less than a million).August-negative pregnancy test. To say I was broken and shattered is to put it mildly. Thank God for wonderful people-my DH,blendy and my wonderful doctor(I'll say he's more than a doc,he's a friend). We decided to allow me heal emotionally and physically before trying again early 2013. In all this,my DH continued with wellman conception,an improved diet(more of veggies and fruits) and we held on to the word of God(that the lord should quicken our mortal bodies and make my husband fluid cells be in sync with his word,I likened my husband's fluid cells as arrows, told God that the ones that will give us godly healthy children should not miss target). Early dec,we decided to see a urologist in the teaching hospital of the town we live in,but the man's programme never fitted with ours, so we postponed to 2013(all we were trying to do was trying to build up more healthy fluid cells before the next ICSI). During this time, the wellman finished,we met a pharmacist(an elderly man) who recommended a new supplement(Reproaid) to us(I was skeptical cos we used one early last year that dropped the count, but my DH said we should go ahead). We kept on praying that God should crown the year with goodness for us,but pregnancy no happen. In all these,I NEVER stopped praising God. January 2013-I made up my mind I was not going to let TTC weigh me down again(worry did more harm than good to my body),I decided I will take one day at a time, serve God more,be a blessing to more people and do what I love doing-shopping...lol). I stopped reading negative stories about our condition. Thank God for patient DH,TTC really affected my s. e. x drive,I found it difficult to even psyche myself for the thing sef,it became more of duty, but I was always appealing to him to understand. I can count the number of times we do the thing sef!I remembered taking a lot of pineapple core and home made juice like a week before HPT(I learnt that here, and it so happened that I had quite some at home,so I decided not to let it waste) But when the Lord turned the captivity of zion around.....hmm...haaaaa!!!!!!! The day my period was due,I dunno what pushed me to HPT that evening(though I promised myself not to touch any test strip again o) cos I had no symptom, only for me to see two lines! I took another one and two bold lines again. Goose pimples covered me. I praised, I danced...I was confused. I called my hubby who was still at work, rushed to the hospital for serum test and it was confirmed. We're pregnant. |
Blendyyyyyy darling, congratulations sis...just had to sign in...so so happy for you. The Lord will renew your strength.Hug those precious babies for me. I had a failed ICSI last august. Mehn,it was such a trying moment. Thank you Blendy for being there for us. I tell you,it was not easy. Beyond the emotional trauma and all,yet I stand. God kept us. We were travelling quite some distance to see Dr Emeka,we had the best care I think any doc could offer, but that cycle was not just meant to be. I had my fears of trying again after the failed cycle(everything looked so good, you know),but I've learnt a lot from people here overtime, and I won't stop trying till I have my twins. We're starting another cycle soon(still at Georges) and really trusting God for our joy to be made manifest this time. To everyone on this thread, trying one procedure or the other, our Joy cometh,it's so close. Don't give up on trying and don't let anyone pull you down with their words or actions. |
Waoh! Congratulations Allycat! I'm so happy for you,the Lord will renew your strength and help ypu nurture these great ones! We're next in line!!! |
Thanks a ton Blendy, you've been a great source of inspiration. I kinda got the final push I needed from you and pslm 23,moreso,I got to know about Dr Emeka through you. I'll keep on posting my updates and by God's grace,I know our victory's sure(the only thing now's that acne's invaded my face and my back, but I don't care though). Believe you as well as the great generations are doing well. Tons of baby dust to all |
So happy for you Topal, congratualtions!it will be a pleasant 40weeks for you. Thanks Ipio,it is well with us all. @Believer84,welcome dear, our expectations shall not be cut short. Baby dust to all |
It is well Pslm 23 and Abibyy, our efforts will not be in vain in Jesus name. I'm on suprefact injection and primolut N(started a week ago). I just used the last of the primolut this evening..I'm so overwhelmed with everything;in between, just got a more demanding job description and I'm 4hrs away from the clinic I'm using, hmmm, all is well.. |
@pslm23,it is well sweets. The Lord will perfect all that concerns you, this cycle will be a success, nothing missing, nothing lacking. We will rejoice with you on this forum. I really look forward to that. |
