Has she wronged you before? You seem to have things against her beyond this oil thing.
At all ooo, no mind me, I just didn't like the whole talk of taking food from ones table, and being so serious about it, it kept the saying "if men were God" ringing in my head.

We have always tolerated ourselves on this thread for someone to just jump in and start acting Godlike seemed far fetched to me.

My apologies for derailing this thread lemme go and be reading from hibernation as I have been doing since o

Obviously, you can't read. It's okay. I will help you. It's been repeated many times that it was 19k including filter, oil change, etc. It was also stated that if spammer didn't stop it would go below 10k. Does that help you now you foul-mouthed ape? ABI na you be dis dru23 lol?

Don't worry. You've gotten your 30 seconds of attention from me today.
Your oil sells for 19k shikena, forget the extras or incentives, it applies to people that come to your workshop, if you had to deliver the oil will those extras or incentives still apply? Or do you deliver with the oil filter too? That's your marketing strategy which is fine does not necessarily translate to cheaper oil. Dru has his own incentive that includes but not limited to free shipping within Lagos and environ cheesy grin

On the flip side I'll rather buy original OEM oil filter than have a Chinese knockoff cause it's free.

Madam please sell it for 10k or do you prefer your stocks sit idle when you can sell cheaper, sellout, restock continue the cycle and gbagaan you could be in the league of people your mouth portends, comman sell for 10k nau. This madam does not like moni sha, she'll rather use mouth instead of price to kill other peoples business. grin

You have been making noise that you will demolish table, scatter fire wood, cause thunder and earthquake in the oil market but your price at 19k no even shake bottle wey dey untop the 3-leg table grin

This is where it shows how little you know about business and supply chain economics.

YOU are the target. I only need wait for you each time and crush you so yes, I can sustain this for years. What you don't get is that where you are in the supply chain will not survive an onslaught by me. I'm not God, but I am your supplier's supplier's supplier.

Again to everyone else reading this, it is simply because not only does he spam threads, he is rude to everyone when politely asked to stop. Beyond that, I have no skin in game. As a matter of fact, if you read the first thread I ever wrote about our goals for Nigeria, healthy competition is one of them because when there is healthy competition, the consumers win. And right now I'm the Auto sector in Nigeria, consumers are losing BADLY.

Someone one said I was trying to be the conscience if Nairaland. I don't think so. I just think some things are right and some things are wrong and this doofus' behavior is wrong. That being said, he's lucky I respect my egbon Mogaji's opinion but maybe someone should explain his position to him.

Abeg quote your price and stop running around this thread like a headless chicken, it is funny how people try to play God on a faceless forum, see you talking about taking food from one's table or ending ones legitimate business like you even know who you are talking too or dealing with, Abeg go Sidon for gutter.

Atleast Gazzuzz crashed his price, shake the table even broke one of the legs of the table, without foaming In the mouth only for it to be clear that Drus oil is still cheaper at 17500 for 5 quarts, which is better because it's extended performance also drivers and partners have extra one quart for keeps or occasional top ups for those who experience occasional oil shortages.

Quote your ground breaking price (Not Table shaking oO) or forever remain shut, this is a thread for uber partners, drivers and well wishers, in as much as we all have different opinions here we all respect each other and know our boundaries, so for you to come here making mouth Upandan as if this an open market, do you think we are selling or pricing fish or tomatoes here, Anything you are "that one na for your pocket" as long as you are not in a groupie with Dangote, Otedola, and the Adenuga's then you are just middle class like the rest of us, So make we hear word.

Abeg quote your imaginary price and Goan sleep stop making mouth with your silly rants, forming voltron, as what nau? Abeg partners, drivers and any person that will be buying oil during this oil price war should be cautious so as not to buy fake Mobil products on this thread the legitimate oil sellers we know on this thread is Gazzuzz and Dru, before unscrupulous persons take advantage of this price war to sell refill as genuine mobil product to unsuspecting buyers for 9500 we all know the price of this things in the market anything way below it market price should be scrutinized and checked carefully, lets don't be penny wise pound foolish my humble submission.

And those of you crashing oil price let bubu catch Una first, So because bubu is in China you people are doing all this one abi.?

Abeg oil marketers driver are not interested in oil war, please when will you people start remittance war when will drivers start remitting 10500 that's where drivers interest lay, as for "You" "Mr ground breaker, Supplier, Supplier, Supplier", maybe you can further earthquake remittance to 5500, So drivers can build a statue for you in owerri.

What vehicle are you looking for? I intend buying a corolla or matrix(tokunbo) on Wednesday, going by your writeup, you can advice if you'll rather drive something else. I am relatively new in this business, I've got just two vehicles and my drivers have never defaulted.
frankly speaking I will pick a matrix over a corolla any day but going by the arguement on this thread I tend to agree that a corolla is best for the business coupled with it second hand resale value, but has it down sides and challenges of theft and saturation. However both will fly. The matrix does have the better advantage of lower purchasing cost over the corolla though.

You are correct about being blocked the question now is why? Earlier the feedback i get on my home screen when I try going online is your account have not been activated. For a account with over 100 completed trips. Then it changed to the screen shot I posted.

I will try having a live chat with them tomorrow if that does not solve it then I will find time to go to their office tomorrow.

Yeah, that’s exactly how to tell. If it takes a while before starting , I’d advice you just find a shop selling fuel pump,tEll then you wanna buy a fuel pump and have them test a complete fuel pump.

It seems the pump itself is weak so the lines have no pressure in the morning and you’d have to start the car twice before it picks up.

Another idea and probably the best is to have your car scanned. Any black smoke in the morning from the exhaust?.

I am not a mechanic, I am just advising based on what I have gone through before . You should probably let an expert check it out for you .
Thanks for the helpful insight's my kazeem already checked and said it should be the fuel pump, I am just making inquiries to ensure I am not setting my self up for guess work. I am worried or do I say skeptical cause I really don't know if its possible for fuel pump to affect reving or acceleration.

No black smoke in the morning, Thanks for your contributions they have been very helpful, I will test the coils first thing tomorrow morning.

wolexy2020:

Did you check your coils ?
Had similar problem last month, 2008 Toyota Camry. Two coils were bad. Got used 6,000 Naira each.
Try to check your coil. If you can unscrew the bolt , you can actually check the coils in seconds
I did not think the coil to be the culprit cause the engine runs smoothly, no vibrations and it idles perfectly with or without the A/c running.

However why I suspect the fuel pump is because the cause does hard start in the morning, also when the fuel level drops the car does not run smooth, when I top the fuel it runs smoothly for sometime.

But now that you mentioned coil it will not be a bad idea to check, please remind me; to check the coils I have to remove them one by one when the engine is running and if the car does not vibrate at any one pulled out that coil is bad Abi?

Thanks bro please I need your response.

Does the rev counter go beyond 3,000 rpm? What model and year of vehicle?
No it does not rev past 2000 rpm when it does not drive past 20 mph, the rev drops as the speed drops,

The car revs just fine in parked or neutral it hits 5000 rpm and the engine runs smoothly no vibration and it idles perfectly with or without the a/c running

Vibrations when you apply brakes at top speed is likely a rough brake disc. I hope your brake pads are not too low.

I'm not too sure of the other sound.
Seun do you seem to have any Idea why a car will not exceed 20mph even when the throttle is pressed flat? Could it be the fuel pump?

Please my roadworthiness document was done in ibadan. Uber isn't accepting it. Is it because of the location?
Uber will not accept it, you will have to do another road worthiness for the city you plan to drive in, either Lagos or Abuja, i had same problem but simply resolved it by doing another road worthiness in Lagos.

Oh okay, you can also talk to Oga Dru too his assurance can go as low as 10-15k. It is bad drivers who betrayed trust of partners that brought about this assurance of a thing, regardless how it sounds I support it and any one looking to own his own car or fleets should also.

Wish you luck bro.

Bro there are many legit and credible bosses here that can give you a car I think gazzuzz, carshopper, dru23 and many others have cars apply with them you could be lucky to get a nice ride I have one VW jetta executive sitting but I am scared of putting it on the platform cause I don't know how well it will fare the engine is 2.0 though with good fuel consumption.

Whatever you do avoid driving Nissan brands on the platform if you want Peace of mind.

Please do apply. It is a golden opportunity that you must not miss.

If you need a car, please go ahead. If you already have a car of your own, it’s not bad to increase your fleet with an extra car using the offer.

At least you will come back to share your experience about the offer and either encourage or discourage other to take the offer.

We (collectively - Car Owners & Drivers) on this thread would be disappointed if you don’t take the offer since it isn’t a scam according to your stand.

Which profit-oriented financial institution in Nigeria would give you loan at single digit when inflation rate is double digits. Who will underwrite the loss?

Was the financial institution established for loss-making? No staff expenses, operating expenses or would they not pay dividends to shareholders.

The op claimed he get several drivers on the platform, we need one of the drivers to come forward with his testimony about the offer.

Don't mind that "I to know" fellow who will not jump at the offer but readily encouraging others to give it a try as if its everyone that can spot the red dots in a scam.

Like you rightly pointed even Islamic banks that are non-profit financial ventures will not dear throw up an offer like that, they might be non-profit but not charity.

It's still simple, if it is true we need contacts/ reference, even Buhari as presidio could not provide 3million jobs promised and one anonymous chairman is promising drivers single digit awoof cars.

Awoof the purge belle. But this one go empty pocket join.
