CltrAltDel: I am not here for childish rants, this is the same way Afonjas were shouting up and down when Ipob announced their first protest in Lagos which turned out to be very peaceful and successful your likes can keep fighting your battles on Nairaland. However you can join the Ipob page for a date or follow Ipobexposed closely I am sure he will release a date to Afonjas cause he really wants Afonja to deal with NK However, Let me tell you one thing, when you see Ipob guys fear would not let you cough. Ask Buhari and osibanjo, talkless of a mere e-rat. 42 Likes |
Politics / Incase Of An IPOB Mega Rally In Lagos, The Best Option For Yoruba People by Doublecheck: 1:19pm On Jul 30, 2017 |
Igbo's will not be breaking any law by protesting in Lagos as Nigerians. Why do Yorubas feel insecure at the slightest mention of Lagos. Each time Igbo's mention Lagos Yorubas go into panic mood. Why the insecurity? By Yoruba logic it is okay for Igbo's be remain in one Nigeria, use Lagos seaport, use Lagos international airport, apply for visa through Envoys in Lagos, etc as an only option. However, it is NOT okay for Igbo's to protest in Lagos or express their dissatisfaction in Lagos, even when Igbo's are still one Nigerians and operate within the ambit of the law. I doubt Igbo's will move a muscle or blink an eye if Yorubas were to stage a protest in Enugu or Onitsha, I doubt Deltans will flitch if the Yorubas were to stage a protest in Asaba same applies with other Southern ethnic nationals in PH, Benin, Calabar, Uyo, Warri etc. Ipob have held rallies in SE and SS states peacefully with no tribe crying fowl, what is it with Yoruba Obsession of Lagos, Nnamdi Kanu simply sees Lagos as a larger stage and podium to spread his message for just one day. However the action of the Yorubas on this day will seal the fate of Ndigbo and Yorubas, in reality Igbo's and Yorubas cohabit peacefully even OPC leader Gani Adam recently re-asserted he does not have any problems with the Biafra agitation and was not against the first Ipob protest in Lagos. That said, e-rats are heating up the cyber space and if it translates to reality then Lagos will witness ethnic clashes between both group that could have been averted if one peaceful rally was allowed. Well, we know Lagos leaders are wise to ignore IPod for one day. Instead of replicating Mr presidents mistake thereby making Lagos officially the center stage for the struggle, coupled with ethnic clashes. Like some have rightly stated, it is best Yoruba take advantage of the protest and own it; to also push their own interests, be it Regionalism, restructure, true federalism or presidency. However the option of threatening Ipob not to hold a protest in Lagos is DOA, as we have seen from previous protest those guys are formidable in their struggle, motivated and fueled by threats and are suicidal in their quest and resolve. Threat nor force can stop such people. 24 Likes 1 Share |

Afonjas really think readers will read their hateful comments, I simply skip them to see the numerous Igbo achievements, I must say I am Igbo's but I am marveled too. 1 Like |

I think those journalists are making a documentary on NK and the Biafran struggle. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is really taking the struggle to greater height without any effort. A great man a legend and an Icon, words are not enough to fully express his person. 11 Likes 1 Share |

johnserek:wrong no scratch face fought in the Eastern heartland they fought in the creeks and all who ventured in the heartland had woeful tales to tell, they all ran with theirs tails tuck between their hind legs ask Obj, Muritala, Ibb, The world powers, Arab nation and Africans fought that war not Nigeria, Biafra did not see itself as fighting cowards rather we saw ourselves defending our own from world powers that be and the Arab conglomerates. Now tell me Nigerians input in the war. Everything was done by everyone except Nigerians, Nigeriens, Chadians, Cameroonian etc provided foot soldiers, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon Air support, UK, Russia, etc, Provided logistics, Arms, technical support and fire power, so tell me what Afonjas and mallams did if not to take glory cowards sore losers All Afonjas could do was to implement a starvation policy and steal Biafrans money cause they were losing the war even with all the world and global support. That said I should highlight that Nigeria did not still win the war the war ended as a result of negotiations that saw the war ending on a no victor no vanquished note if not that war would still be raging on today Igbo's have claimed Lagos, Afonjas come and fight to collect it back let's know who the real cowards are see were cowards live 3 Likes 1 Share
