I dont understand this relationship at all. The more they fight and make up the more they allow third parties come in between their relationship. And the weaker the relationship gets. If this continues, I forsee an implosion detrimental to both interests. If Yemi truly wants freedom, he needs to allow Kween same or agree to an amicable desolution.

Nigerian girls are not naturally wired to chase after men,they don't usually do it. Olivia,in her desperation for highlights,which is parts of her game to become a top contender in the house, decided to act like a female version of Yemi,a natural gamer,by attempting to run Thabang and Mmeli simultaneously ! Her attempt to do that backfired because she failed to reckon with or she was not aware of the deep seated xenophobic nature of those duo. Thabang and Mmeli don't genuinely like any Nigerian in that house;they won't hesitate to pull any of the Naija housemates down given the opportunity!

Olivia stupidly served into the xenophobic hands of both Thabang and Mmeli. I have no pity for any senseless village mgbeke who can't read the game very well. Only three Nigerian housemates are giving the correct naija vibes in that house - Yemi,Kanaga and Yvonne,the rest na worwor !

It is a possibility but I honestly don't think it is as obvious as you put it. Olivia appears uninhibited with alcohol otherwise she will be all over the guys sober IMO.

Whether it's because she was on or because of self-control, Juicy didn't go all the way with Yvonne, and he could only kiss her like that because they are already an item. Her being less uptight with alcohol is irrelevant, many women get a little bit more agreeable with alcohol which is why trying to get a woman drunk is an old tactic used by many guys.

And they weren't even alone, their aggressive cuddling was being watched by other housemates which would ordinarily make Yvonne uncomfortable.

My disagreement is in making our girls look more special than Nelissa or Ipeleng. Any girl can bleep or be bleeped in the house and no one should be reprimanded for their acts of indiscretion whether sober or high afterall Yvonne and JJ are a couple according to you. So why should anyone give a hoot?

Nah, not all of your arguments are valid even though i agree with some stuff you pointed out. The Big Brother show , regardless of beautiful attempts at justification by some people, still ISN'T Gonzo porn, it's REALITY TV, which is why things like Shower hour and previously airing content from the bathroom and toilet area have since been scrapped.

Secondly, you seem to underestimate the effects of alcohol added to physical attraction that is ordinarily kept under the limits of self-control. Also, your argument about exposure and inebriation seems too conclusive. You forget that we have the benefit of watching them while they sometimes forget that they're ALWAYS being watched by cameras they don't even see.

The saving grace most housemates in BBNaija and this BBTitans flop have had so far is that Kayode/Bulelani have learned to exercise discretion, doing their best to not show very x-rated stuff(T-Baj pleasuring herself, Dora/Erica/Angel/Khosi giving head) or stuff that goes down between couples that try to seek extra privacy e.g. couples that take the effort to go to the bathroom area (Kanaga/Tsatsi) . The typical housemate usually forgets there are cameras within a couple of weeks (even camera-conscious Dorathy forgot about cameras when heading BrightO) and believes that what they do is hidden, only jolted back to reality when Ebuka calls them out.

It would be different if it is a housemate that is usually open with their sexuality and who even spills about stuff they did in the house e.g. Nelisa,Sandra, Jaypee, Blue, or possibly, Yaya. But if a housemate like Yvonne (who has openly discussed on the backlash risks Nigerian female housemates face for having sex the show), Tsatsi or Ipeleng (yes, she's still conservative) were to start acting openly Hot with an obvious support from alcohol, that should be a warning sign. A Richard/Ofunneka scenario would no longer fly and that might even put a male housemate in trouble.

It is only for that reason that Juicy Jay deserves commendation for exercising self-control.

Regardless,friends don't let friends do stupid things because they're drunk. My grouse is that no Nigerian went to check up on Yvonne, not even the Coven members. If Juicy had misbehaved and Yvonne had woken up, we might have been seeing a more different and more serious type of drama today.

So while all housemates are adults, it's best to fully understand lines not to cross and when helpful intervention is needed. Even some South Africans must have been a little bit worried for Juicy Jay last night. Once again, he isn't Mmeli. And i still maintain that the Nigerian male housemates (except Ebubu) should be utterly ashamed. The Nigerian girls were severely starved of attention or even friendly care or contact on the show, which partly explained why they took to borderline malicious gossip to pass the time.

We have seen this scenario played out before with Tboss/Kemen. JJ would not have been allowed to go all the way with a subconscious Yvonne. If Yvonne consciously went ahead, why should anyone protect her? She told JJ the first time they kissed that she's less uptight with alcohol. Your guess is as good as mine.

Olivia is silly, but it was a little worrying seeing that she was slowly clustered by the South African guys and girls with only Yvonne on her side.

Minus Khosi and Nana/Jenni, the fights on this show have been between Nigerians. The South African girls except Tsatsi keep giving their guys gist details with the Nigerians. Even the Nelisa and Mmeli issue seems quashed. To maintain sanity on this show, i think the pairing idea should be maintained.

It is important to first deemphasize public morality on a show R18 certified. However, if we choose to be sentimental due to our endearment to the HMs especially the babes, our moral obligation should be to all irrespective of nationality.

Moreover, we cannot use intoxication to cover imorality since getting drunk out of control can also be considered amoral. As crude as it may sound, it is inconceivable that anyone not exposed to a degree of promiscuity in the real world will come on this show and have sex publicly when inebriated unless forced.

Let's not forget the BB show has a recognised backlash in the larger African continent including a more liberal South African society.

Is it not instructive, the 25 year old Ipeleng from a perceived libertarian civilisation confessed her parents will be disappointed in her, talkless a 28 years old Yvonne who is no stranger to getting drunk by her own admission?

The truth is, everyone in that house is an adult. Whatever they get into lawfully is at their own peril.

Let's be guided that the attitudes of HMs are controlled within legal limits and should not be grounds to call for the cancellation of the show.
