AngelahFlo: As a doctor we need some education. How can a clavicular fracture be treated? For most cases that I have witnessed in babies, the fractures were left to heal on their own. In adults, it may require other measures like the plate and screws someone earlier mentioned. |

yommen: And what is the transparency and integrity issue you found in the news? Before the development of the model, it is stated that Nigeria accounted for 29% of world mortality rate.
However after the development, they were able to achieve a whopping 99% childbirth success rate. This may in Lagos alone though but it noteworthy because it is thousands in number.
The figures are there to see and it's not a crime to doubt but only that you must doubt with your own verified figures. You are disputing but you don't have your own figures to prove that what the news says is wrong. That is how to counter an argument, not just with unfounded accusations. Stop making your education look like waste. Trust me, quoting figures is the easy part. I am more concerned about how they arrived at that figure. Their methodology/result need to be reviewed thoroughly. A single link of their work published in a peer reviewed journal is the basic minimum that I am asking for, failing which, a preprint can suffice |

BreconHills: Were you expecting a full explanation peer reviewed model here?
They've given you enough to follow it up and give a less vague comment. Actually yes. At least something that makes sense scientifically and not this statement that feels like it was written by a junior researcher. A few links to the pilot study, preprints or previous works would have helped |

As a young doctor, one major thing that will shackle you to practice in this country is marriage in nigeria. So many would choose to rather not marry, marry someone with definite jakpa plans, or jakpa and wait to marry I totally agree. It's much worse fir the junior doctors |
