He is everywhere. An astute businessman |
Osiris12:I agree |
asfrank:Typical |
Resign. That is the only way to take responsibility for your gross incompetence which has already cost a life and countless emotional turmoil. |
I am just sick of our incompetent leaders |
How many kids does he have? Cute girl channeling Princess Jasmine in Aladdin. I can also spot the magic lamp and the carpet |
Can someone please check the meaning of the word "euthanized" particularly as it pertains to chickens? Did some light reading Euthanasia is done specifically to relieve suffering—for example, if the chicken is sick, injured, or dying. It’s usually considered a humane act done for the animal's welfare, not for human benefit.I honestly don't think the term 'euthanasia' should apply to animals reared for human consumption. How certain are we that a chicken about to be killed for a meal is "healthy". Health is not merely the absence of disease, but the presence of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and this to some extent applies to animals as well. A chicken who has been caged in unsatisfactory conditions is not in any form mentally stable and thus is not technically healthy. Are we then euthanizing our chickens in Nigeria, and honoring their existence and worth by consuming them? |
luminouz:Lol. All I need is an evidence. Why aren't you providing that? |
Putindbutt: Definitely a rare breed. An outlier. Kudos to him 👏👏👏 |
Shameful |
94 in Maths, 61 in English. This is consistent. Congratulations to your Mentee |
This is just sad. |
I find it interesting that he is announcing to the entire world that he gave her 2000 dollars last week. Looks manipulative to me. Nevertheless, if she had the money, the least she could have done was to help pay for the groceries. It's only ten dollars. |
If you are wondering if racism exist, wonder no more. |
luminouz:Lol |
A pity. |
luminouz:Evidenced by? |
Putindbutt:It means that I am yet to see anyone who performed extremely well in both Maths and English. It's almost as if the brain only allows humans to know one subject better than the other. Tried finding out why and saw this.. I hope it helps. it is rare to find people who naturally perform exceptionally well in both mathematics and language. This rarity is due to the brain's functional specialisation and the way cognitive resources are allocated. Here’s why: 1. Cognitive Resource Limitation: The brain, like any system, has limited cognitive resources (such as attention, time, energy, and neuroplasticity). Excelling in one domain often requires dedicated, sustained practice, leaving fewer resources for developing the other domain at the same level of expertise. 2. Neural Competition and Specialisation: The parietal lobe (quantitative reasoning) and temporal-frontal regions (language processing) are distinct neural networks. Developing one system to a high level may lead to what is called "neural competition," where one system becomes dominant while the other receives less developmental emphasis. 3. Educational and Environmental Bias: Educational systems and life experiences often push individuals toward one track, reinforcing strengths in either quantitative or verbal domains, but rarely both. For example, someone pursuing engineering may rarely practise creative writing, while a literature major may avoid mathematical challenges. 4. Cognitive Style Differences: Mathematically inclined individuals often rely on abstract, logical, and structured thinking, while linguistically inclined individuals excel in narrative, emotional, and semantic richness. These are different cognitive styles, and switching between them is cognitively demanding. 5. Social and Psychological Factors: Sometimes, societal stereotypes such as "math people aren’t good with words" or "artistic people can’t do maths" discourage balanced development, reinforcing the gap. In summary, while the brain has the capacity to develop both, the natural tendency toward specialisation, resource limitation, and environmental reinforcement makes it rare to achieve high-level proficiency in both. However, it remains biologically possible with deliberate cross-disciplinary training. |
ManOfMan:Congratulations. |
98% in Maths and 68% in English. I totally believe this because I faced something similar. I think it is biologically impossible to score exceedingly well in both subjects. |
luminouz:At first, when I read this, I wondered where this conclusion came from and then I saw your name, and laughed out loud. Do have a nice day. |
An intelligent conversation. He balanced the negatives with the positives brilliantly. He has a healthy mindset and I am not at all surprised that he is the current head of his field. Well done |
Coder2Client:You and me both. I wish someone will break it down so simply for the rest of us who can't comprehend the drama |
luminouz:I'll try my best |
Why? The senseless deaths should stop. Trump we need your skills as the expert mediator |
Dogalmighty17:True |
22o62021:Not sure about the greedy but I totally agree that loyal users should be compensated somewhat |
luminouz:Hello luminouz, we both know how our conversations go. I will sit this one out. Hope you are good |
Emma1Oj:This |
Kobojunkie:I am exhausted by this exchange. Let's agree to disagree please |
