She spoke the bitter truth. I'm surprised she succumbed to pressure, and edited her comment. Probably for fear of losing out on future nominations... In any case, BET are wrong, and have no justification, whatsoever for presenting awards to our Artists hours before the event proper...and in an empty hall. It is appalling, especially considering that the Awards are for black people. It shows that they undervalue Africans, and are no different from the white man whom they tag 'racist and discriminatory '. So much for the fight for equality... I am very delighted that Our artists are speaking up against this injustice ,and if they continue to, i see BET doing something about it. Either they do things in a more respectable manner or they remove the category from their awards show. |
Stella has nothing on Linda, period. |
Peter said they're shooting a video for a collaboration. Flavor ft psquare, he said. |
See as she dash the kids that her nose |
As much as i wanna believe that car is his, i really doubt it is. That baby is very expensive (tens of millions of naira)--- Nigerian Celebs don't spend that much on whips. Unless of course, It's a used car. Good luck to him, anyway! |
That lady had a golden voice. She was 'Resonance' imo, the guy was an unnecessary addition . |
That feet don't look good though |
Obviously, she's pained. But you gotta admire her mental strength, and resolve. Not a lot of people can continue with their daily routine and act like it aint nothing after they're hit with something that devastating. |
Even if it is a million naira, it is still wasteful. Do they not earn salaries? Can't they take care of their clothing needs from there? If these monies that are being spent on frivolities by our clueless leaders can be channeled to more meaningful avenues, this country would be far better than it is now. It is clear that this government is like the ones before it--- always misplacing priorities, and putting themselves before the governed. To think i even hoped Mr Bruce would be the odd one among them... how money changes men. Until the 'common' Nigerian takes a revolutionary step towards checking the excesses of these political criminals, the Nigerian state shall never be identified with progress. |
Awesome makeup. Looks to me like a show is in the works |
I agree with every other point, except 7. Nothing wrong with sport competitions, bro. |

Ben may not be perfect, no one is really, but to publicly criticize the same legislature he has been elected into?... i think he genuinely means well. Contrary to popular belief, the legislature is the most corrupt arm of govt. And i think that is why you see so many people trying to be a part of it. How can people who do nothing, except sit and make laws that favour them earn so much? Quite Baffling! Nigeria needs more people like Mr Bruce in government, who'll stand up, and fight for the greater good of the citizenry. |
drfk001:a reply couldn't be more apt |
The 2015 Nigerian presidential election has come and gone, but not without leaving us the following lessons... 1. Persistence pays: If general Buhari could finally win the presidential election after 4 failed attempts, anything is possible. All you have to do is keep trying, and never give up. Failure can actually become success if you apply the right pressure. 2. Make the most of every opportunity, you never know your last: Providence set President Jonathan on the path to greatness, but somehow, he found reproach and failure instead. Everything worked in his favor...up until now. From deputy governor to governor, and vice president to president (like a fairy-tale)--- and all he needed to do was make the most of the opportunity he was given; put the citizenry first, address their most pressing needs, and watch them love you like a god, yet he managed to miss the point. It could have been him celebrating now,but his mistakes have cost him. Your life is what you make of it, not what luck or Providence makes of it. The powers of failure and greatness lie within us. What side of the coin we end up depends on us. Opportunities will come; what you get out of them depends on your ability to recognize them and make the most of them. Do not procarsinate, do not trust in luck because we all run out of it eventually... even 'Goodluck' Jonathan did. Drahmah |

Nothing greater than a smart, loyal woman who also happens to be a good cook. I go with 2, 5 and 7 |

No wonder the man can't make 2 accurate passes ![]() |
I was there on Friday's night with the king. He said those exact same words... He never mentioned mr president's name. It's funny how people twist things and draw conclusions based on heresy. The bishop is a man of honour, there are things he just wouldn't say. He only cursed those against the unity and peace of the nation...now, if the shoe fits... |
Apologies for the unavailability of the pic before now. Phone complications. But do you think he was really watching the 'anaconda' video? |
I found this photo of the APC presidential aspirant on my bbm (one of my contacts used it as their dp). I think it's Photoshop anyway (and such an amazing job. Lol) , but if it isn't...boy!
