Tohsynetita1: I understood what I wrote and how it could be carried out. But it's only those who won't want unemployment to reduce in the country that might see another thing. Am not talking about government but what of individuals that do use money for something that might be frivolous. Thank you for your mention. In your original post; first paragraph says: What if Government and millionaires?. Two quick questions: who are the policy makers and implementors?; Who are the millionaires?. Your confusions are not only limited to the above two: You also dabbled into Agricultural interventions with absolute scant understanding/knowledge: 1. What's 500 Acres? 2. What is 1 Acre per individual? [Lack of understanding in land size measurements and Agricultural impacts] 3. Your listed crop choices are baloney (3-4yrs) 4. Your timelines, ROI and benefits sharing are ludicrous Your attempt to re-enforce understanding of your thoughts in Agriculture is loudly irritating/clanish. Your topic in the Agriculture thread: "My Thought" heightened my expectation for informed and learnable out of the box ideas; but it was not. So stick to themes with your area of innovative competence. Thank you. |
Agriculture › Re: My Thought by drake2(m): 4:44am On Aug 14, 2023 |
Tohsynetita1: What if government or any millionaire buys a large sparse of land like 500 acres, then give like 1 acre for those that want to use it free of charge, mandate them to plant tree crops and give out the seeds or seedlings also freely, they will take charge of the rest.
Then, cash crops like orange, cashew, Cocoa, mangoes, avocado, kolanut, bitter cola, pawpaw, rubber, castor, Jack fruit, sour sop, breadfruit, coconut, palm kernel, pear, apple, guava, tangerine, date plant, sugarcane, plantain, banana, almond, hazel nut, macadamia, strawberry, miracle fruit, Kiwi, shea nut tree , Dragon fruit etc will be mandated for planting.
Then, management of the farm will be by the those that rent it, and after growth like 3 to 4 years, the owner takes 10 percent of the proceeds made from his or her farm and government or the landlord takes the rest. This is a very good business strategy for those seeking for strategy in business. Most of those bushy sparse of land can be used for such, and those that might want to go into long term crops like trees, iroko, mahogany, obeche ,gedu, mulaina, Bamboo, will sign an agreement of like 20 years with the landlord. It's quite commendable you got your thinking cap on, but disappointingly wrongfully. Are you sure, you understand your proposal?; From your sense of land size to your crop types and cultivation timelines / benefits sharing; obviously this is a shallow mastery of the subject. You can propose/advice on thematic iss1ues that you have capacity and competence on. There already exist deluge of Agricultural production and sustainable livelihoods interventions/solutions; but your politicians/policy implementors/intellectuals are clanish bigots/dotards. |

What do you mean 'going into Agriculture'? Investing in rice farming or you doing the rice farming yourself?. If the later is yes, no crop farming is profitable if you are not trained and experienced. But if you invest through sound and experienced professionals; rice farming is the most profitable Agripreneurship at the moment.
Facebook farming and free information can't take you there; no two crop farms, locations and factors are the same. Seasoned Agronomists are readily available for consultations on a wide spectrum of crops, locations and soils. Engage them. |

Who told you what you are doing is called an experiment? 1. What hypothesis are you testing? 2. What questions area you asking? And what answers do you expect? 3. What is your experimental design to carry it out? And for data collections? 4. What is your methodology to eliminate variation due to chance in the yield of 4kg of seedco 612?(we call it replications), how many 4kgs of maize plots did you have? To allow for comparison of mean yields? 5. Does the yield of 4kg of seedco 612 speak for the yields of other varieties? 6. Didn't seedco tell you how many kg of 612 (20_25kg) is needed to plant 1ha and expected yield range in tons or number of 100kg bags/ha?7. If these data/information are already provided by seedco Agronomists, why is this your charlatanry/ quackery necessary? 8. You should deduce how many 100kg bags your 4kg planting materials can give from seedco labels. 8. And who told you the best Agronomic practice for maize planting density is 2seeds/hole @ 25cmx75cm? |

Freezyhot: How does the clarity put food on ur table? Or how does that affect u personally? I am a farmer; food and table not a challenge. Personally, if she became his ex before her passing; why is Mr. Orji playing a leading role in her burial? And also deciding an open casket view?. Would she have approved it? Personally also, to corroborate previous comments on this thread; why are there no visible show of grief and sadness? But photo shoots and display-ionism as if they were happy the source of their headaches had gone forever? Did I answer your food and table query? Including my personal concerns? I don't trust these desperate, overambitious and fetish MALE ritualists. After the money has come, their First wives hardly live long happily without cancer, HBP and Terminal sicknesses, including more disrespectful younger wives by the men. If Orji is expectedly older than his "late ex-wife"; this should have been the time to enjoy his money and not be described as "ex-wife" and then "late". The older Orji ought to DIE first, why she and her children enjoy life!. |

PStacks: Good Morning dear Nairalanders.
Please meet conjoined twins Peter-Rufai Obi Oseni.
Rufai Oseni was Seen Dancing inside Arise Studio after INEC Announced Peter Obi won 2023 Presidential Elections in Lagos State.
Here is a journalist that is supposed to be Neutral by his ethics and code of Conduct but we all know that his affinity belongs with the Labor Party as Peter Obi always greases their palms at the Arise studios in Lagos any time he goes on their platform to spew his dubious statistics.
For Professionalism Sake, Arise Tv would eventually have to let go of Rufai Oseni.
Even tho we know Reuben Abati and the other Ojy Girl that is always smiling like someone her clitoris is being fuddled with are all on the same page with Rufai but they are a lot more matured about their own as Rufai makes his own just too obvious.
From a Business Perspective, People should not tell you they are boycotting your channel because of your staff rufai..
I Know for a fact Arise Tv would eventually have to sack Rufai.. its just a matter of when and not if. That description of the lady though!. This doesn't portray us as civilized at all. |

But I lived there nah. 2007-2011 as a research fellow. I nor see mad women oh; Nsukka is such a sweet and enjoyable university community to be in and out.
Their women; married or single are so sweet. They love life, drinks, "ugba joints", "Nkwobi", cowlegg, cowtail, name it. Sxx is not a big deal. And also so many sweet Cameroonian babes in UNN.
Downside: Cult killings and armed robbery. Thank you!
Nsukka rocks! |

Do you have sufficient rich content (experience) that can go into a recommended format or frame?. They both go together; if yes, what is the timeline and how much are you willing to pay?. |

Metetiexpress: If you don't pass your boundary in Uniben u have nothing to worry about Many thanks for your response. But that required consciousness about the existence of boundaries and repercussions (death inclusive) heightened the uneasiness and nervousness. How could you function optimally in such a tensed environment. At Pg School in UI, 2003; 40% of my classmates came from Uniben including ladies with horrific tales and very close horrible experiences. I am particular about Uniben, because it is our School with very bright and intelligent academic community. Thank you! |

He is a kegite Wow!. May his soul rest in peace. Wanted to do a master's and PhD in Uniben. But after clearance and payment of acceptance fee. The things I saw in 2003; the panicky aura and latent feelings of uneasiness in and around campus?. I ran for my life back to my UI in Ibadan despite the advantage I had in Benin and it's closeness to family and home. God forbids! |
