But the social and relationship life he had nothing on it. So he can't eat his academic cake and have his social life intact.

Please let's be honest, Laycon is depressed and psychologically unstable in this contest, no thanks to Erica and Kiddwaya.

The best we can do for him is to either keep voting for him till he wins, however, there's a limitation because housemates are the final decision maker for those to be Evicted after the least shortlisted. Or, we stop voting for him, so he could go home and see another view of life and get better.

Depression isn't a little mental issue.
