TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN... I don't know the authenticity of this Information but prevention is always a better option. Another rape Technique in Town. Ladies pls be careful. A woman was taken by 5 men, who according to hospital and police report was raped by a gang before being dumped at a bus station! Though she was unable to remember the events of the previous evening, tests conducted revealed that she had been raped repeatedly. There was a trace of Rohypnol in her blood. Rohypnol, is presently being used as a date rape drug. It is actually a small sterilization pill which is now being used by rapists to drug their targets at parties. The drug makes the mind of the target (would be victim) go blank so that she does not remember anything that transpired and worse still, the drug sterilizes the victim so that she doesn't conceive from the rape and the rapist need not worry about having his identity revealed later by a paternity test. The real bad news is that the drug's side effects ARE NOT TEMPORARY, they are PERMANENT. Any female that takes it WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO CONCEIVE. The drug is administered by dropping it into the target's drink. The girl wouldn't remember a thing the next morning, nothing at all that had taken place the night before will she remember. Rohypnol, dissolves rapidly and easily in drinks, leaving no taste and no change in color which makes it impossible to detect. These weasels can get this drug from anyone who is in the vet school or any medical university. It's that easy and Rohypnol is about to break out big on campuses everywhere. Believe it or not, there are even sites on the internet telling people how to use it. Girls, please be careful when you're out, especially on a date, don't leave your drink unattended. (Buy your own drinks, ensure bottles or cans received are unopened or sealed; don't even taste someone else's drink). There has already been a report in Nigeria of girls' drinks being spiked by Rohypnol. For guys - Please inform all your female family members, relatives and friends. Remember you also have sisters or might one day have a daughter(s). Important News are meant to be passed on, please don't keep or ignore. This was sent to me and I feel I should pass it on so that we are better equipped to protect our loved ones. Please share to protect and save lives. PLS GIRLS BE VERY CAREFUL |

Karlebolu:it dealt with improvisation well, if you start to apply their techniques and infuse your own ideas, you would see it, also there is "250 jazz patterns by evan tate". that one is just on patterns, but really, get deep into jazzology, there is a lot of information there . Like I've said severally on different threads on here, I 'expected' Lil Kesh to win the Next Rated Award at #TheHeadies2015 . But that's all it is- expectation. Like me, so many other people 'expected' him to win too, based on the strength of his popularity. Unfortunately, the Next Rated Award is a voting category. There's also an additional process of vote verification. Let's do a simple arithmetic. Based off Twitter, here's how the contenders stand in terms of following: (Let's ignore that these figures have made considerable increase since the feud started) ReekadoBanks : 74k followers Don Jazzy: 1.3M followers Total: 1.374k Lil Kesh: 85k Olamide : 692k Total: 777K Korede Bello: 122k Don Jazzy: 1.3M Total: 1. 422K Kiss Daniel: 95K Emperor Geezy: 8K Total: 103K If their Social media fan base is anything to go by, I think it's safe to say Mavins have more shots at the Award than YBNL and G-Worldwide combined. In a voting category, more street popularity doesn't always translate to more votes, and vice versa. (Even in FUTO elections) For those who say Olamide didn't mention any names but was called out by Donjazzy, I have this to say: When Olamide lost his cool on that stage, throwing provocative jabs, he actually called out you and me, and everyone who has common sense. There is no justification for what he did. There are more sensible ways to make his point. And being 'street' is not an excuse for that either! I blame ReekadoBanks for lighting the spark. He was so caught up in his emotions that he made unguarded comments that obviously riled the YBNL camp. "I know say some people dey vex right now...you can go ahead and rant...ranting is allowed"(sic) He even said: "Lil Kesh, you dey make me feel like say I no get talent" (sic) Those comments were as provocative as they were unnecessary. Donjazzy is to be blamed too for making unnecessary comments too. Worst of which is the cuss at Olamide. On an abstract note, do you ever wonder what this public show of immaturity says about the who Olamide is, beyond the facade of our beloved Artist Of The Year? Going by his affinity for raunchy lyrics, and his public fit, I think Olamide is capable of domestic violence, even rape sef. |

Karlebolu:try reading jazzology, it is simple to understand and be commited to it |
my advice to all musicians : do not depend on video materials, as popular as you think they are, they can only add little to your playing. focus on books, there is a lot of information in books that I can bet that if you finish a jazz book, you wouldn't even recognise yourself. try reading a book today! God bless you all |

culled from reddit.com ,im guilty of this too but I guess we all have to face the reality. I'm usually quite vocal about how i think of the inefficiency of self-improvement forums and subs. It has little to do with the concept themselves, but rather the people who visit them. I have been active in self-improvement subs, and created some myself, for years now and these two mistakes can be huge problems. And most importantly: I have never seen a person who do these mistakes succeed. If you truly want to change, or help others, i urge you to read this and pay attention. And this is not me trying to be a dick. This is me trying to help you help others and yourselves. You should learn to recognize these questions, and call them and the OP out on them so that you can actually have progress. 1: Asking for help This one will require a bit if an explanation. What i am specifically talking about here is those who ask for undefined help. "How do i change my life" or "I don't want to be this way anymore" etc. These questions can even be so overwhelming that they poison an entire sub, and i openly forbid them on my own. Because of how contra-productive they are. These people are fed up with the way they are living their life. They want more. They want change. And that is why they come here. However... they already know exactly what they need to do. If you have spent more than 1 week on the internet, or just 2 hours on a self-improvement forum, it's almost unavoidable to already read about the solutions. Very few problems are actually unique. The thing that these questions do, is that they are asking for shortcuts. They are asking for "A better way" or "The quick fix." That is why they post these questions, despite the fact that they most likely already know exactly which answers they will get. Also, a lot of these questions are already defeated in the title alone. You need to focus on the solutions, not the problems. Just for example, how many posts here do not ask something along the lines of losing weight or getting fitter? Yet is there a single person with an internet access today who does not know how to do these things? These things are very, very simple. Not always easy, but simple. Yet people still ask about them. Why? Because they still hope for a quick fix. They hope that there is another way. They want you to fix the problem for them. And you need to take that hope away from them and slap them hard in the face with the reality. There are no quick fixes. There are no shortcuts. Before they realize this, you can never help them because they will never listen. And this applies to so many things, not just fitness. Social problems, school, work, hobbies, sex etc. How many success stories do not start with the words "I just stopped trying to come up with excuses and did it?" A good question is concrete and concise. For example, the difference between "How do i pass my exams?" and "How can i improve my study technique" is like night and day. One is trying to avoid the problem and looking for shortcuts, and one has acknowledged what needs to be done and is trying to act on it. In order to successfully change your life or someone elses, the person must first stop running and face his problems. They must be ready to take it on head on, and stop trying to find excuses. 2: Advancing too fast This problem is a bit more lenient, but still destructive. A lot of people just try to go from 0-100 immediately. "I'm going to get in shape, so i threw away all candy, bought 50 kg of kale and is going to the gym every single day" No. You will fail. Going cold-turkey on one thing is hard enough, go full ham on your entire life is not going to work. You need to realize this. And you must have patience. The reason 95% of all diets fail is not because diets are flawed. It's because people go all in on them, expecting quick results and then collapse in a week. You have to take things one step at a time. If you, for example, want to get in shape then you start by replacing half your meals every second day with salad, while jogging around the block 3 times a week, for example. Trying to go all in immediately will just lead to hitting a wall and giving up. You must let it take the time it takes. First when you have one habit solid do you expand on it or add another one. You need to build a new life slowly. I often liken self-improvement with a river that you're trying to redirect. If you just smack down a dam in the middle of it, the dam will break and you'll waste a bunch of money and energy. If you want to truly succeed in redirecting the stream, you need to first dig a bunch of small streams to divert the water. Then you build a foundation. And you slowly and slowly change the direction of the water. Bad habits are like the river. They cannot be removed, they have to be replaced. Redirected. One by one. If you truly want to change, you must do this. Like with #1, you need to stop trying to find shortcuts and quick fixes. They are not there. You need to be patient, and slowly build your new life bit by bit. The change will be noticeable faster than you think, but never as fast as you would like it to. You need to accept this, truly, if you want to live the life your heart dreams for. |

ii-V Chains ii-V sequences (or ii-V-I sequences) need not remain in the same key. Through a process called chaining, sequences may progress by either upward or downward root motion, creating a series of quick modulations (key changes, also discussed in Chapter 7) in parallel motion. The ii-V' s are said to be chained and will either ascend or descend through keys that are separated by an equal distance. Here are some typical modulations used when chaining ii-V's. • • • • Up by M2 or Down by M2 Up by m2 (chromatically up) or Down by m2 (chromatically down) Up by M3rd or Down by M3rd Up by m3rd or Down by m3rd.
