Business / Tips For Maintenance Of Solar Panels by draypizzy(m): 2:58pm On Apr 30, 2018
1. Keep solar panels out of shade as energy production becomes inefficient when they are kept from absorbing any sunlight.

2. Keep an eye on the solar panels and make sure the inverters are flashing green lights. If they are not flashing, you are losing money by no longer compensating for your electricity use.
3. Document the day-to-day performance to improve solar panel maintenance. It is important to write down how much energy has been produced at a consistent time every day and make special note of dates where it is very cloudy. Some of the results will be inconsistent.
(Your manufacturer would be able to provide you with the best monitoring system for your solar panels.)

4. Monitoring systems help you see how much you are benefiting the environment and how much CO2 you are emitting into the atmosphere. They can also help you know how much you could benefit from the feed-in tariff scheme.

If you have no time in cleaning solar panels, you can install automated cleaners that work like sprinkler systems or even schedule appointments with solar panel cleaning companies.

Properties / Solar Energy: Africa's Next Big Thing by draypizzy(m): 7:15pm On Apr 25, 2018
Throughout my childhood, and my personal experience witnessing the energy crisis in Nigeria, I can only posit that renewable energy is the plausible solution to epileptic power supply in the country. Nigeria, and Africa at large is an energy poor continent. Most people face severe energy shortages which, in turn, hamper economic development. Meeting current and future energy demand is a major challenge for all African countries.

Would you KNOWINGLY throw money in the garbage?
We both know the answer to that question. Absolutely not! The truth is that you are throwing money away WITHOUT knowing about it. In fact, you could be LOSING $20 PER DAY!
But today… That stops.
I am going to share some secrets with you. Secrets that will help you keep your money where it belongs; in your pocket.
These secrets could save you THOUSANDS, TENS OF THOUSANDS, or HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of DOLLARS. This is money that you could spend DOING THE THINGS YOU LOVE, rather than giving it away to strangers.
Right now, you spend thousands of dollars each year on an electric bill. Why? Electricity is valuable. You NEED it to keep your lights on and the temperature in your house at a comfortable level. Right now, you pay an electric company WHATEVER AMOUNT they want to charge for this electricity. Think about it. Why can they charge whatever they want? Because, until now, they CONTROLLED how you get your electricity. You NEEDED to get your electricity from them because there were no other options.
UNTIL NOW.
Did you know that you could get solar power that actually pays for itself in a few years?
Did you know you could substantially reduce your electric bill every month by supplementing with solar power?
Did you know that installing solar power on your residence could actually INCREASE the value of your home EQUAL TO the investment of the installation?
These are things the electric companies don’t want you to know.
Why?
It is money out of their pocket.
Toward that end, the electric companies perpetuate some myths. Let’s address the myths and respond with the TRUTH about solar power.

“Solar power is expensive.”
This is absolutely not true. The costs associated with the installation of solar equipment can actually be recovered by the monthly savings on your utility bill. In a relatively short amount of time, usually within 5 years, the installation costs will be completely recovered; ultimately the installation will have COST YOU NOTHING. After you recoup your costs, the savings are extra money in your pocket every month. I have another question relating to the costs associated with solar power. Do you have control over rate increases by your electric company? If they raised your rates tomorrow by 25%, would you have any recourse? No, you would simply pay the increase. With solar power, you maintain some level of control over this.

“The installation of solar equipment will damage my roof or property.”
This is not necessarily true. While it is true that in every single industry in the world, there are service providers that are simply not reputable. However, there is good news! You have control over this. Using a REPUTABLE company, where service isn’t a slogan, but embedded in everything they do will prevent subpar installation and service.

“I am worried about investing in a technology that will be obsolete in a few years.”
Good news! The sun has been around since the beginning of time, and will continue to be here until the end of time. Harnessing the power of the sun makes sense.   Not only will technology not go obsolete; technological advances will continue to drive new and innovative ways to use energy from the sun. In fact, when you choose a solar power company, you should choose one that recognizes the importance of innovation.

“I am worried about buying the wrong panels or equipment.” This is a logical concern. When you are sick, you go to the doctor. When you have a toothache, you go to the dentist. When you need solar panels and installation, you should go to draysolar energy services. They are THE EXPERTS in this space. It simply makes sense to work with experts on the front end of a project. draysolar doesn’t use a one-size-fits-all approach to solar energy; rather, they develop a tailored solution that meets YOUR SPECIFIC NEEDS.

“What if I can’t get enough power from solar power?” Good news! The sun is here to stay; as sure as the little orphan Annie croons about in the wildly popular film, Annie; “The sun will come out tomorrow.” It is a sustainable and clean form of energy. I feel profoundly confident stating that solar power is one of the only energy sources that simply will not run out.
It is time to change the way you think about energy. Take the power away from the ENERGY GOLIATHS and put the power back in your hands. There is no need to continue to heat or cool your house by burning money. Instead, use a profoundly renewable source of energy – solar power – to help you meet your electricity needs.
Is there an abundance of misinformation out there about the costs and benefits of solar energy? Absolutely. However, as a newly educated consumer, I commission you to seek out the TRUTH. Contact draysolar and speak with an expert. Worst case scenario, you leave with more information. Best case scenario, you save hundreds of thousands of dollars. Ultimately, there is no down-side. Every day you wait is costing you money.

It's nice sharing your experience on this platform. But what you really don't know is that most people install solar in their various homes without thorough knowledge on the working principle of solar, installation being carried out by uncertified engineers, thus they tend to vent their anger when things go abnormal.
The reason for sharing all these posts is to open the veil and expose people to the benefits and the principles of solar..
In advanced countries, renewable energy (solar) is replacing other sources of energy.
Solar is still affordable, reliable, clean, and readily available..
You can't be wrong by going solar

Business / Tha Basics Of Community Solar by draypizzy(m): 7:18am On Mar 10, 2017
Solar power represents just about 1% of the electricity that utilities generate today, but that could grow substantially as major electric utilities move into smaller-scale solar farming, a niche developed by local cooperatives and nonprofits.

It’s both an opportunity and a defensive maneuver: Sunshine-capturing technology has become so cheap, so quickly, that utilities are moving to preserve their core business against competition from household solar panels.

And even though big investor-owned utilities operate as legal monopolies in many states, the bill-lowering appeal of rooftop solar for many homeowners eventually could threaten their ability to finance and manage the power grids.

These trends help explain why utilities are increasingly adopting a model called community solar,  or shared solar.

Community solar involves customers agreeing to buy or lease solar panels on large arrays built for the utility, or to buy the power they produce. That electricity is then credited off utility bills under contracts that can lock in power prices for 10 years or more.

Utility-run shared solar also can address competition from independent solar companies that install and operate rooftop solar panels, harvesting and providing the energy at a fixed cost to the individual consumer or some other buyer.

These projects also could appeal to the roughly half of Nigerian households that can’t install solar panels because they don’t own their homes,  or lack sufficient roof space where the sun shines consistently,

Like the much larger solar operations covering large rural tracts with dark photovoltaic panels slanted toward the sky, electricity from the utilities’ smaller-scale arrays feed into the local power grid, not directly to individual homes or businesses.

Membership-based electric cooperatives, municipal utilities and even nonprofit groups run most of these “solar gardens” around the country, but utilities are moving in.

draysolar renewable energy company, will soon launch a community solar program in the country. This plan will open more opportunity for people to go solar, which brings local cooperatives, solar installers and academics together .

Customers would pay a certain amount upfront for each subscribed kilowatt slice of power potential from a solar array and get credit for their share of what’s produced.

These households would continue paying conventional power prices for any electricity they consume beyond what their share generates, spending to keep the transmission lines and backup plants working when the sun doesn’t shine.

“We do have customers that want [community solar] and customers who are willing to pay for it, but it’s not like we have every single customer that wants that,”

But utilities also need to hold onto their customers as solar power becomes more popular, abundant, and renewable.

Business / The  future Of Energy-efficient Building Design by draypizzy(m): 7:06am On Mar 10, 2017
This is possible because of a combination of energy-efficiency design elements and emerging clean energy technologies.
This involves energy-saving devices like:

144,000 square feet of LED lighting
DC lighting capabilities
Advanced lighting, energy management, and mechanical control systems
Interactive dashboards with real-time building performance data
Exterior solar shading wall
High Solar Reflective Index (SRI) roofing
Electrochromatic glass
High-efficiency heating and cooling systems
High-performance insulation
Passive ventilation with large, efficient ceiling fans
These design elements are expected to reduce the building’s lighting, heating, and cooling operations enough to cut electrical consumption in half.

A 500 kW rooftop and parking shade structure PV solar array provide the structure’s electricity. Excess energy is fed into a utility scale battery array, which stores enough electricity to power the building of 144 days of partial energy use.

“This project is a great example of an owner taking control of their energy costs to improve their building.
We look forward to supporting the electrical industry to roll out similar projects across Nigeria. ”

Business / #worldin2026 Climate Change The Greatest Threat by draypizzy(m): 5:38am On Dec 29, 2016
Climate change is a variation in the various forms of weather which lasts for an extended period of time. Fossil fuels when burnt release carbon into the atmosphere which in turn makes the earth warmer, this continuous action leads to global warming which affects our health.
The important technology that can reduce the effect and risks of climate change is by going solar. Use of generators should be replaced by solarising homes. Gasoline cars should go into extinction by improving on solar cars, also use of solar cooker to replace the carbon emission of other cooking fuel.

Let's view and like this video for a vote of sustainability and eradication of climate change.

Business / 3 Great Benefits Of SOLAR ENERGY by draypizzy(m): 11:29pm On Dec 19, 2016
3 Great Benefits of solar Energy

1. It's Abundant.
Solar energy is everywhere. You may not be able to dig a coal mine or oil well in your back yard, but you can harness nature’s highest source of power.
The sun sends enough energy to Earth each hour to meet human energy demands for an entire year! It’s the world’s most abundant and accessible source of energy.

2. It's Affordable.
Any serious, long-term global energy source must be scalable. Fossil fuels are generally supply constrained: as demand goes up, so do prices. With solar panels, it’s the exact opposite: as demand goes up, prices tend to go down!

3. It's Sustainable.
How do we want to leave the Earth for our children?
Silicon solar panels generate electricity without noise or emissions, and are comprised almost entirely of recyclable materials (like silicon, silver, and aluminum). In addition, solar (photovoltaic) panels do not require water for operation, critically important for sustainable communities around the world.

So what are you waiting for. Take control of the future and go strictly solar. Be energy independent.. Give us a call/chat let's solarise ur homes, offices and streets..

Business / 5 Good Reasons Why You Should Gosolar by draypizzy(m): 9:18pm On Dec 18, 2016
5 Good Reasons why You Should Switch to Solar

Photovoltaic systems are not the only technology laying claim to the ‘greenest power generator’ title. But compared to others they come out significantly better in terms of secondary impacts such as water use, greenhouse gas emissions, pollution and social disturbance.

1. The sun is everlasting
The sun has been shining long before civilization as we know it began. People have become dependent on solar energy for light and heat as it is most reliable. As this energy is renewed daily with never-ending sunshine, solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity has grown fastest among all renewable energy in recent years.

2. Ecologically friendly
Harnessing the sun’s energy poses no threat to health and the environment. Fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas, are highly polluting as they release chemicals and toxic elements into the atmosphere, land or sea when they are mined, drilled or transported.
Oil spills from Exxon Mobil tanker and deepwater horizon oil rig are just two of the many environmental disasters that have hit the headlines. These oil spillages reduced wildlife populations and cost fishery and tourism companies huge losses for years.
Solar PV cells are made from crystalline silicon found most commonly in silica sand. Although certain chemicals are used to clean the semiconductor surface of the PVs during manufacture, leading solar manufacturers follow strict environmental laws and observe proper industrial waste disposal, ensuring no ongoing harm to both workers and environmental ecology.
PVs also minimise land impact; small scale PV panels are located on rooftops while large ones such as utility-scale solar systems are sited typically on low grade land or disused locations such as brownfield sites and abandoned mining land.

3. Climate change mitigation
Conventional energy sources are known to release massive amounts of carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases, which trap heat within the earth’s atmosphere and raise surface temperatures. Since the start of the industrial revolution, these have contributed towards unprecedented climate change. Results of this increase include extreme weather conditions worldwide, such as dry spells, droughts, wild fires, storms, hurricanes and flooding.
In contrast, the use of solar energy through PV panels to provide electricity does not emit any harmful gases as the fuel source that drives this energy is the sun.

4. Poses no water challenge
Water, a basic human need, is a precious resource that has been found lacking in many dry and troubled areas.
Agriculture, according to United Nations, is the biggest water user worldwide. Biofuels, claimed by some as a clean fuel source, ironically consume significant amounts of water during irrigation and feedstock processing, and in some cases result in human conflicts over land rights and water access.
Hydropower dams – another claimed “clean” source of electricity are widely used as renewable energy sources. But often, homes and villages are destroyed or relocated to make way for dam projects. River systems are usually altered, which affects wildlife habitats and freshwater ecosystems.
Compared to hydropower and biofuels, solar technology creates less disruption to people and wildlife. Although water is used in the manufacture operations of PV cells.

5. Silent as the sun
While wind turbines are excellent electricity producers, most produce significant noise. Residents living within the vicinity of wind farms have reacted to high noise levels, something which a number of people are unable to get used to even after a long time. PV panels are not considered a nuisance as there are no moving parts to generate friction or sound.

The sun is quiet, and so are PV panels.

Business / Dont Wait For The Next Electricity BILL by draypizzy(m): 8:48am On Dec 13, 2016
Electricity tariff is no doubt been increasing at an alarming rate.. Use your savings to plan for your future. Be energy independent because the next electricity bill is another price hike..

Control your electricity costs

When you begin to generate your own solar power, your electricity bill can drop significantly.

How much you can save will depend on the size of your solar power system and your family's electricity usage.
You will still draw some power from the utility grid, but at a lower-priced rate.
We will design a solar system that's right for your home and determine the optimal utility rate structure for your remaining energy needs.

Offset your electricity costs

When your solar power system generates more electricity than your home can immediately use, your excess power flows back to the utility grid and your meter literally spins backward!!!

Most utility companies will pay or credit you for this electricity.
Your solar power system produces the most electricity during the middle of the day, during "peak" hours when the utility rates are at their highest.

This is to your advantage, because you can sell excess electricity at high peak rates in the afternoon, and buy electricity back at lower "off-peak" rates at night.

You buy low and sell high! This is referred to as "net metering" and can lower your electricity bill even further.

Protect yourself from rising electricity costs

Residential utility companies are dependent on fossil fuels such as oil, coal and natural gas, which are vulnerable to volatile foreign markets.
When you switch to solar power, you are hedging against rising utility rates. You can secure low, predictable electricity costs for years into the future.

The future is now, let's embrace it..

Business / Put An END To Global Warming By Going Solar by draypizzy(m): 6:24am On Dec 07, 2016
Say NO to global warming..
Global warming is a gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, carbonmonoxide and other pollutants.

Global warming issue has been discussed for many years. Most of the scientists consider it real and growing threat for human being and climate. Since the governments are doing nothing, it has to see that, what can individual citizens or citizens’ organizations can do to reduce global warming?

Way forward?
Sure, as an individual you can do many things in your home to reduce global warming. In this connection first you need to focus the areas, which are the biggest source of global warming.

The first thing is definitely gasses that come from your home cooling, electricity and heating appliances, if you pay a little attention in their usage , you will be playing big role in reducing global warming.

Let’s see how?

1. Use white LED solar Bulbs: You should immediately change incandescent light bulbs and use solar LED bulbs because these bulbs consume only 25 % energy comparable to the incandescent bulbs.

2. Switch Off Electric Appliances: When electric appliances are not in use, then plug them off, because they use some energy even in off position. This is called energy management.

3. Change Your Monitor to LCD:
Try to get LCD instead of a monitor, because LCD consumes lesser energy than monitor. Always keep your computer screen status off, when you are not working.

4. Don’t Leave Fridge’s door open for a Long Time:
You take or put things in your Fridge quickly, because if you keep your fridge open for a minute, then its motor will remain operative for more than a half hour.

5. Embrace solar : You should convert your heating system to the solar energy, in this way you can save electricity, money and your environment from global warming.

The time is NOW, global warming should be reduced to the minimum level..

Business / How To Size Inverter For Your Solar System.. by draypizzy(m): 6:14am On Dec 07, 2016
Sizing an inverter for your solar system

Solar inverters convert the low voltage DC electricity created by your solar panels to the 120/220 volts AC electricity used by household appliances.

Sizing a solar inverter is an important part of any solar installation, big or small.

Since your solar energy system is going to be producing and sending DC electricity to your inverter, you're going to need an inverter size that can handle the load and convert it to AC power.

This requires knowing how to size an inverter properly.

How To Size an Inverter
If you're going to understand how to size an inverter you must first understand how inverters are rated.

How Inverters Are Rated
The first way inverters are rated is in Watts (or Continuous Watts).

1. Continuous watts is the total amount of watts the inverter can support indefinitely. A 2000 watt inverter can power up to 2000 watts continuously. A bigger inverter size could handle more.

For your inverter to be right for your system, it's watts rating must be approximately equal to your solar system's watts rating or more.
This is the correct way to size an inverter.

Therefore, if your solar system is rated at 2000 watts, you'll need a solar inverter with about 2000 watts, maybe a little bit more. But not too much more or the efficiency will drop.

If you want to run multiple appliances at the same time and want to make sure your inverter can handle the load, just add up all the Continuous Watt ratings of all the appliances that may be running simultaneously.

Depending on the total continuous watts you get, you can determine if your inverter can handle it. This is also an important part of inverter sizing.

So if the total continuous watts of all the appliances that may run at the same time is 3000, it's too much, you'll have to run less appliances at the same time.

The second way solar inverters are rated is in Surge Watts.

Surge watts is the amount of power the inverter can support for a very short time, usually momentary.
A 2000 watt inverter rated at 4000 surge watts can handle up to 4000 watts momentarily while starting things like motors (in pumping machine, air conditioners)- which usually require more power than normal to get started.

For your inverter to be right for your system, it's surge watts rating must be approximately equal to (or greater than) the potential surge watts of each appliance.

You can find this out by looking at the sticker on the back of all of the appliances you will be using with your solar system and checking the potential surge watts of each appliance.

By doing this you can determine the minimum surge wattage you'll need your inverter to be rated for.

Usually, you'll need about 1.5 to 2 times as much surge watts as continuous watts for a good measure of surge protection (more, if powering heavy duty equipment).

Therefore, if the highest surge watt rating on any of the appliances you plan to use with your solar system is 4000, you'll need a solar inverter with a little over 4000 surge watts.
Lastly,
Input Voltage - Should I get a 12v 24v or 48v inverter.
The next rating you have to look at when sizing an inverter is the input voltage.

For correct solar system sizing... your solar panels, inverter and battery bank all need to use the same voltage.

So the input voltage of your inverter will depend on the inverter's power or watt rating.
For inverters with a relatively small amount of power like 100 watts, the voltage will be 12V, 24V and 48V.

For higher powered inverters, the input voltage will likely be more.

Business / Light Up Your Street With SOLAR by draypizzy(m): 4:36pm On Dec 06, 2016
Benefits of solar street light

Recent technological innovations have paved the way to the rebirth of street lights through solar powered ones.

Solar street lights are raised outdoor light sources, which are powered by PV (photovoltaic) panels. These panels are mounted on the lighting structure or connected in the pole.

PV panels have a rechargeable battery, providing power to the fluorescent or LED lamp during the entire night.

Most of the solar panels automatically sense outdoor light through a light source. These can give off light on successive nights even when the sun’s energy is not available for a couple of days.
Many users are switching to solar street lights nowadays due to a number of reasons.

1. Solar street lights are independent of the utility grid resulting to lessened operation costs.
These means that these are wireless lights and are not connected to your electricity provider.

The lights are dependent of the heat energy given off by the sun, storing as much of it throughout the day.
Solar street lights require lesser maintenance than conventional street lights. These have lower chances of overheating. Since solar wires do not have external wires, the risk of accidents is minimized.
2. A lot of times, accidents happen to the personnel who fixes the street light. These can include strangulation or electrocution. Solar street lights are environment-friendly because its panels are solely dependent to the sun hence eliminating your carbon footprints contribution.

3. Some parts of solar street lighting systems can be easily carried to remote areas making these more efficient and handy solutions to lighting problems.

Business / Save Your Energy Cost And Go Solar!! by draypizzy(m): 12:46pm On Dec 01, 2016
How to save energy costs

Eliminate or significantly reduce your electric bill with solar energy

One of the biggest reasons to go solar is that you can eliminate or significantly reduce your electric bill.

An average monthly electric bill of #50,000 becomes an annual #600,000 expense. Over 20 years, that same #50,000 monthly bill balloons to #12,000,000 paid to your utility, and that’s before factoring in electricity rate increases that will likely make your 20-year energy costs even higher.

Installing a solar panel system at your home or business takes you out of this cycle.
Going solar can eliminate your electric bill completely or reduce it so dramatically that electricity costs are no longer a significant factor in your budget.

Your savings with solar depend on a few different factors, like how much energy your system produces and how much you consume, but the biggest factor is the rates you would otherwise pay to your utility.

Because your savings are equal to the costs you avoid by going solar, you’ll save even more if electricity rates are high in your area.

And, since electricity prices will continue to rise, your savings will continue to grow every year over the 25+ year lifespan of your solar panel system.

Reducing one of your largest monthly expenses makes perfect sense, but the benefits of solar aren’t just economic.

Because electricity prices can be unpredictable, they make managing your budget difficult. By installing a solar panel system, you also fix your electricity costs and make them more predictable.

This is especially beneficial for anyone with a fixed income, as well as for businesses who stand to gain from a more stable cash flow.

When you make your electricity costs more predictable by going solar, you also improve your expense forecasting and management capabilities.

Business / Advantages $ Disadvantages Of Solar!!!!! by draypizzy(m): 9:55am On Nov 28, 2016
Advantages & Disadvantages Of Solar Power

Everything has its advantages and disadvantages, its pluses and minuses.
So, naturally, there must be a number of solar power advantages and solar power disadvantages too, right?

It’s been awhile since I ran down a list of solar power advantages and disadvantages, so I figured this topic was ripe for a refresher.

Solar Power Advantages

There are many solar power advantages worth noting. In no particular order (well, perhaps simply the order in which they come to mind), here are some of the top advantages:

1. Solar power helps to reduce/stop global warming.
Global warming threatens the survival of human society, as well as the survival of countless species. Luckily, decades (or even centuries) of research have led to efficient solar panel systems that create electricity without producing global warming pollution. Solar power is now very clearly one of the most important solutions to the global warming crisis.

2. Solar power saves society billions or trillions of dollars/ nairas.
Even long before society’s very existence is threatened by global warming, within the coming decades, global warming is projected to cost society trillions of dollars if left unabated.

So, even ignoring the very long-term threat of societal suicide, fighting global warming with solar power will likely save society billions or even trillions of money.

3. Solar power saves you money by reducing your electricity bill

Putting solar PV panels on your roof is likely to save you tens of thousands of dollars/naira.

When you begin to generate your own solar power, your electricity bill can drop significantly. How much you can save will depend on the size of your solar power system and your family's electricity usage.

4. Solar power provides energy reliability.
The rising and setting of the sun is extremely consistent. All across the world, we know exactly when it will rise and set every day of the year.

While clouds may be a bit less predictable, we do also have fairly good seasonal and daily projections for the amount of sunlight that will be received in different locations.

All in all, this makes solar power an extremely reliable source of energy.

5. Solar power provides energy security.
On top of the above reliability benefit, no one can go and buy the sun or turn sunlight into a MONOPOLY.
Combined with the simplicity of solar panels, this also provides the notable solar power advantage of energy security.

6. Solar power provides energy independence.
Similar to the energy security boost, solar power provides the great benefit of energy independence.
Again, the “fuel” for solar panels cannot be bought or monopolized. It is free for all to use.
Once you have solar panels on your roof, you have an essentially independent source of electricity that is all yours.
This is important for individuals, but also for cities, states, countries, and even companies.

7. Solar power creates jobs.
As a source of energy, solar power is a job-creating powerhouse.
Money invested in solar power creates two to three times more jobs than money invested in coal or natural gas.

Solar Power Disadvantages
Solar power disadvantages are actually not so plentiful.
In fact, there’s only one notable disadvantage to solar power that I can think of.
That disadvantage is that the sun doesn’t shine 24 hours a day.
When the sun goes down or is heavily shaded, solar PV panels reduce the electricity production efficiency.

Way Forward?
The energy stored in the battery can then be accessed and used during the sun's down time.

However, there are a couple of key things to note regarding this solar power disadvantage.

Firstly, the sun actually does shine when we need electricity most. As humans (not vampires), our days more or less follow the movement of the sun.

Society more or less wakes up when the sun rises.
At the time of the sun’s greatest height and visibility, humans tend to be most active.

At this time, we are of course using much more electricity than in the middle of the night, so electricity is in greater demand.

This also makes electricity more expensive in the middle of the day, making electricity produced from solar panels more valuable.

Another important point worth noting on this front is that, with storage, solar power could theoretically supply the world with all of its electricity needs. In fact, nothing on earth compares to the energy potential of sunshine

3. Change Your Monitor with LCD:
Try to get LCD instead of a monitor, because LCD consume less energy compared to monitor.

Business / Why Spend A Fortune On Electricity Bills by draypizzy(m): 6:29am On Nov 25, 2016
