These devices are so damn beautiful, Samsung should have done better with the batteries tho but let's see how 10nm Snapdragon/Exynos will fare on them likewise the optimisation.

Bixby and Samsung dEx looks promising anyways.

finally ruled-out possibility of inviting ex-

questioning over cases of corruptions,
most especially, the popular Armsgate
scandal during his administration, saying
the ex-President has earned respect

Buhari who said he was shocked to have

[quote author=lonelydora post=29620496]What I know is GEJ till February 2015, GMB afterwards.

If it takes Buhari to solve corruption in Nigeria, then i will be glad if he builds more prisons for corrupt leaders.

Imagine a country where you pay 750k for a job of 60k/month. Don't ask me, that is what my cousin paid to secure a FG job in Abuja not minding she passed the test and interview.

A country where policemen openly collects money from motorists. Take a trip from PH to Enugu in a commercial bus, you will understand what I mean.

China has zero tolerance for corruption, why do we celebrate corruption in GEJ's administration?

Reuben and Omokri will declare our prison open by February 2015.

Buhari, welcome to Aso rock.

EDITED: TO ALL THOSE ASKING ME IF ALL THE THINGS I MENTIONED STARTED TODAY, I HAVE THIS FOR THEM.
SO BECAUSE YOU TREKKED TO SCHOOL WHEN YOU WERE YOUNG, THAT MEANS YOUR CHILDREN WILL ALSO TREK TO SCHOOL EVEN IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY TO PUT THEM IN A TAXI OR SCHOOL BUS??

The site of many ancient kingdoms and empires, the modern political state of Nigeria has its origins in the British colonization of the region during the late nineteenth to early twentieth centuries; it emerged from the combination of two neighboring British protectorates: the Southern Nigeria Protectorate and Northern Nigeria Protectorate. During the colonial period, the British set up administrative and legal structures whilst retaining traditional chiefdoms. Nigeria achieved independence in 1960, but plunged into civil war several years later. It has since alternated between democratically-elected civilian governments and military dictatorships, with its 2011 presidential elections being viewed as the first to be conducted reasonably freely and fairly.[13]

Nigeria is often referred to as the "Giant of Africa", due to its large population and economy.[14] With approximately 174 million inhabitants, Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa and the seventh most populous country in the world.[15] The country is inhabited by over 500 ethnic groups, of which the three largest are the Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba. Regarding religion, Nigeria is roughly divided in half between Christians, who live mostly in the southern and central parts of the country, and Muslims, concentrated mostly in the northern and southwestern regions. A minority of the population practice religions indigenous to Nigeria, such as those native to Igbo and Yoruba peoples.

In 2014, Nigeria's economy (GDP) became the largest in Africa, worth more than $500 billion, and overtook South Africa to become the world's 26th largest economy.[16][17] Furthermore, the debt-to-GDP ratio is only 11 percent (8 percent below the 2012 ratio).[18] By 2050, Nigeria is expected to become one of the world's top 20 economies.[19] The country's oil reserves have played a major role in its growing wealth and influence. Nigeria is considered to be an Emerging market by the World Bank[20] and has been identified as a regional power in Africa.[19][21][22] It is also a member of the MINT group of countries, which are widely seen as the globe's next "BRIC-like" economies. It is also listed among the "Next Eleven" economies set to become among the biggest in the world. Nigeria is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations, the African Union, OPEC, and the United Nations among other international organizations. These are parts of the things we are celebrating.

hello Doc. I'm myopic. I was prescribed glasses with a lens power of "-2"..

I've been using the glasses for sometime now(though not frequently) and I've not noticed any change in my sight.. Why is that so?

One more thing: does drinking garri cause/worsen bad eye sight?

Thanks and God Bless
you have to be using your prescription all the time if you want your vision to improve and most importantly your diet is also an added advantage. Plenty carrots, fruits and vegetables this will go a long way to beta your vision. The case of drinking gari , i want you to know that it affects the eyes and you should quit it.

ARareGem: Hello Doc,

My eyes are very sensitive to bright light. Sometimes, I can't look at my phone, pc, tv or walk in a room with fluorescent litted bulbs or outside on an averagely sunny day. Not to mention that I can't wear sun shades 'cause it causes my eyes to stream. I don't remember not having this eye problem since I was a child. Plus, it gives me constant headaches.

Please, can you suggest ways to remedy the situation that does not inolve the use of glasses, assuming I would have to use glasses?

I don't even know what the problem with my eyes is. Is this a problem from birth or was it induced?

Thanks.
with the symptoms you are experiencing I will advice you to check the pressure of your eye. Visit any eye clinic and tell the Dr. that you want to check the pressure of your eyes. then get back to me.
HealthRe: Doctor In The House: Optometrist ( Feel Free To Talk To Your Eye Specialist ) by drbenneth(op): 12:15am On Oct 15, 2013
Coloboma is an eye abnormality that occurs before birth.
Colobomas are missing pieces of tissue in structures that form
the eye. They may appear as notches or gaps in one of several
parts of the eye, including the colored part of the eye called
the iris; the retina, which is the specialized light-sensitive
tissue that lines the back of the eye; the blood vessel layer
under the retina called the choroid; or the optic nerves, which
carry information from the eyes to the brain.
Colobomas may be present in one or both eyes and, depending
on their size and location, can affect a person's vision.
Colobomas affecting the iris, which result in a "keyhole"
appearance of the pupil, generally do not lead to vision loss.
Colobomas involving the retina result in vision loss in specific
parts of the visual field, generally the upper part. Large retinal
colobomas or those affecting the optic nerve can cause low
vision, which means vision loss that cannot be completely
corrected with glasses or contact lenses. Albino ninja

Kollins12: Hello Doctor, Pls my baby who is just 6months old now discharge thick mucous from the two eyes especially early in the morning but thins out gradually before the end of the day through constant wiping off and cleaning, only to find the two eye-lashes glued together the following morning of every day that is running to 8days now.
Pls advice, cos his mum called it Conjunctivitis ,but I am not convinced.
Thanks
Hmm please you have to take the baby to see an optometrist but I suspect bacterial conjunctivitis. the use of penicillin ointment @ night and any broad spectrum antibiotics is OK. make sure anything that comes in contact with the eye is washed and disinfected to avoid transmission.

There is no treatment for abnormal colour vision, although recent
studies offer a prospect for gene therapy in the future
Glasses with coloured lenses or coloured contact lenses are
promoted as an aid for those with abnormal colour vision. These
can help pass colour vision tests but do so by altering the colours
in the tests, not by improving colour vision. In general they do not
work in the sense of restoring the ability to see more colours. If they
work at all it is by changing the relative brightness of different
colours. I will advice you to make sure you eat plenty vegetables and carrots. also note that most man are naturally colour blind.@ Tony
HealthRe: Doctor In The House: Optometrist ( Feel Free To Talk To Your Eye Specialist ) by drbenneth(op): 2:43am On Oct 13, 2013
Myopia is an eye disorder much more common among Western
literate peoples. It is also known as nearsightedness, while
farsightedness is known as hyperopia. Myopia is a very common
ocular problem, affecting perhaps one billion people worldwide.
Prevention is partially possible by avoiding reading closely for
prolonged periods during childhood and eating a healthy diet with
plenty of fish and fresh vegetables. Children who spend the most
time outdoors are the least likely to suffer. Being outdoors exposes
children to different lighting conditions and they look at distant
objects instead of near objects. Both of these factors may have an
effect on the risk of myopia.
Natural Supplements for myopia treatment - nutrition for eye health
The lens, retina, macula, and other parts of the eye involved in
eyesight can be protected with the proper intake of antioxidants.
Almost all the antioxidants likely have a positive influence on eye
health. Of particular importance are vitamins C, E, selenium, and the
carotenoids found in fruits and vegetables. Two particular
carotenoids, called lutein and zeaxanthin, play an important role in
protecting eye tissue in the macula from damage by free radicals,
and perhaps partially help prevent myopia or reduce myopia severity
progression. Corn, eggs, green leafy vegetables, peppers, red grapes
and pumpkins are some of the foods rich in lutein and zeazanthin.
You can also find carotenoids and flavonoids in many herbs,
including milk thistle and bilberry. Interestingly, bilberry contains
anthocyanosides that could be beneficial in myopia. Fish oil
supplements are helpful since the retina needs the important fatty
acid DHA for optimal visual acuity.
Improve myopia naturally
I am glad to report that the proper use of many nutrients can help
restore, at least partially, the magic of seeing that you may have
long forgotten existed. After you try some of these myopia
supplements, you may even take an eyesight test on a Snellen chart
to see if your myopia is better. I have formulated a product called
Eyesight Rx that not only provides proper nutrition for eye health,
but it also improves myopia in some people, often within days.
Eyesight Rx helps improve visual acuity
Unlike some vision products that provide nutrients
and herbs for long term healthy eyesight support,
and prevention of visual impairment, but don't seem
to have much of an immediate effect on visual
acuity, Eyesight Rx was formulated to provide a
quick and noticeable eyesight improvement within
hours or days of use.
Reports from users indicate enhanced clarity of vision, colors being
brighter, better focus, and overall improvement in close and distance
vision. We've had reports of some people noticing this effect within
hours, while most people notice improved eyesight within days.
Taking fish oil supplements along with this product provides even
more benefits. make sure you see an optometrist for eye examination
