Why not charge ₦‎60,000( ₦‎60,000 × 130 passengers will give ₦‎7,800,000)?

₦‎250,000 ×6 passengers just gave the airline ₦‎1,500,000

The manager of this airline is clueless just like a typical Nigerian politician!

Even 100k sef, they would make more with more passengers than 6 at 250k.
Car Talk / Re: Car Tracker - Your Experience Please by drdanny(m): 9:59pm On Oct 20, 2023
Tramigo helped me recover my stolen Honda Academy way back 2010 May. Car was stolen in Abuja and I was able to successfully track it after two days in Jos and I recovered it and drove it back to Abuja myself along with some policemen I personally hired to assist me.
Sad to hear they're not available any longer. For me, they are the most reliable, although network challenges could delay the efficiency of the tracker but you can't go wrong with it.

Romance / Re: My Fiancee Is Acting Funny These Days by drdanny(m): 3:55pm On Jun 13, 2023
uzomakanaki:
Fellow nairalanders, please I need advice from matured minds in this group.

I'm in a two year relationship with my woman, we're both working. I'm 34 while she's 27. My montly salary and commision is over 200k with other side hustle i do that bring in funds for me, i also just got a car i want to register with bolt/uber to still bring in funds in my free time.

My fiancee on the other hand is earning 75k monthly. I take good care of her needs and makes sure she doesn't lack anything I can afford.

We both plan to settle down by December.

Sometimes last month she missed her period, after the test we discovered she's 5 weeks pregnant.

I'm against abortion because of the dangers involved in the aftermath, i suggested she keep the baby while I come and see her family and do some necessary things before the main wedding. But she insisted in aborting the baby, reason being that she can't be pregnant and be working. Unless I place her on a monthly salary.

She has aborted the baby and had complications because of the quack nurse that performed the abortion. I spent a lot to make her back on her feet

I'm gradually losing interest in the relationship cos that single act of her. I've kept this to myself.

I just need advice on how to handle this. Cos I'm already fed up with her with her recent disrespect and the way she talks to me anyhow even in public.

The baby probably was NOT yours...
Science/Technology / Re: Man Mistook This Deadly Viper For A Python, Nearly Killed by drdanny(m): 10:27am On Jun 13, 2023
ogbiwa:
A security guard killed this venomous viper in a bush around an area I visited, and held it by the neck while the snake was still moving and with the head still intact, to look for buyers. When I screamed at him he claimed it was a non venomous python and that someone was coming to buy it for 7k and the person needed the snake whole with the head still intact (likely for diabolical use). When I told him that a scratch from this snake's fangs would kill him if not treated quickly, he dropped the snake before I snapped it. The snake was even still moving on the floor! The risks people take.

You saved a life... an ignorant one for that matter. Instead of them to watch NatGeo from time to time, they spend their entire time on Africa Magic Epic and cant distinguish between a deadly viper and a python. God have mercy!

Exactly what I was going to say. Let her record the phone conversations and then you can go pay him a visit and them play the tape while also recording the encounter with a POLITE but FIRM warning for him to stay away from your Sister or you would go public.
If he denies it or tries to make trouble, your two recordings will be your evidence to nail him

N3TRAL:

Akwa Ibom people will love Jagaban more for calling Udom a boy. Jagaban is not lying. Even as Governor, Udom spends at least 4 days a week at his residence in Lagos.

The streets of Uyo are wild for Jagaban.

Jagaban will win at least 10 Local Governments in Akwa Ibom. He will get his 25% and move on.

Akwa Ibom people know the person that brought Jagaban to them.

He is the person that built the stadium used for the campaign today. It is the best stadium in Nigeria modelled after Bayern's Arena in Munich. It is better than the one in Peter Obi's Anambra or Atiku's Adamawa.

He is the person that gave Akwa Ibom State an airport. Anambra's billionaires used to land in Enugu state under Peter Obi and drive to their mansions in the village. Anambra had no airport.

Akwa Ibom people know the man who built flyovers, quality roads - some extended into neighbouring Abia State.

His name is Akpabio. He is the one who brought Tinubu to his people and told them "Tinubu is a builder like me".

Akwa Ibom people will not fail Akpabio on his quest to become Nigeria's third citizen. They will vote massively to return Akpabio to the Senate and vote massively too for Tinubu.

That crowd you saw in Uyo today is pure love for Akpabio and Tinubu. APC will score better than Labour Party in AKWA IBOM.

Stop the hate-filled narrative.

An outrageous Pension bill for ex-govs. was passed under his administration with him been fully in support of it. Infact he clamoured strongly for it .
Then on completion of his tenure, when he should start exploiting from the dubious bill he himself orchestrated. He rejected it all, as an ex-Gov himself.

It means just one thing only: he had stolen enough.

So Tinubu hasn't stolen enough, so much so that he needs to be one President to steal even more!

USELESS TERRORIST PACIFIER...
Politics / Re: The Story That Didn't Hug The Headlines By Femi Adesina by drdanny(m): 1:40pm On Mar 13, 2022
presidency:
A story broke last week that you would think would be everywhere, topic of discussion on both traditional and new media. But not a murmur, nor a whisper. In fact, mum was the word in many quarters.

What was the story? The Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), an international and independent, not-for-profit think-tank, released what it calls Global Terrorism Index 2022. And it had this to say about Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA):

“There was a ten per cent improvement in terrorism deaths in SSA. The improvement can be attributed to the successful counter insurgency operations targeting Boko Haram where deaths caused by the group declined by 72 per cent between 2020 and 2021, from 629 deaths to 178 deaths. Nigeria recorded the second biggest reduction in deaths. This is more than the overall decrease in terrorism deaths in Sub-Saharan Africa. Attacks by the group also significantly decreased, halving from the prior year to 64 attacks.”

The truth is that a single wanton death is one too many anywhere. But when in a country that had suffered thousands of deaths yearly since Boko Haram emerged in 2009, killings now reduced by 72 per cent, it is a very significant development. It is something that should hug the headlines, dominate the talk shows, go viral on social media, and be of interest to social commentators. But not a murmur, nor a whisper, as I said earlier. As if in a conspiracy of silence, nobody talked about the report. The media didn’t report it, and those that did, superciliously tucked it away in a place where you would need to put on the torchlight before you would see it.

Now, just imagine that the same report had indicated that there was a spike in Boko Haram killings in Nigeria, with the carnage exceeding that of the previous year by 100 per cent. All hell would have broken loose. It would be lead headline in most publications. Some television stations would scroll the story in their news bar round the clock, for many days. It would be the topic of discussion on morning and evening discussion programs. We would be almost deafened by the cacophony. So-called security experts and social activists would be invited, and they would be pontificating all day.

Why do we as a people show more interest in negative, rather than positive news? Bandits killed scores of vigilantes in Kebbi this week, and the news was everywhere. But last week, security agencies had neutralized minimum of 200 bandits in Niger State, and it was nothing to play up. It did not resonate in the media, traditional or new. Not a murmur, nor a whisper. Strange. Very strange.

President Muhammadu Buhari came our way in 2015, promising to secure the country, revive the economy, and fight corruption. Rather than encourage him, what some people had been engaged in is sticking a pin into the soft underbelly of the various wars. No plaudits. No bravo. No encouragement. He didn’t do this, he didn’t do that, is all they are interested in. The economy recorded 3.4% growth last year, the best since 2014, no murmur, no whisper. The anti-corruption war has seen convictions in thousands between 2015 and now, yet, what interests some people is how the war is allegedly selective, even without a scintilla of evidence. And when there are strides in the battle against insecurity, their narrative remains the same. Oh, life is nasty, brutish and short here.

Yes, we still have severe security challenges. But are we where we used to be? Don’t we see a fulfillment of promises by President Buhari that he would ensure that the vermin of insecurity is extirpated in the country? The pessimists have not changed their tongues, nor their minds, despite the positive strides being attained. The report by IEP says Nigeria recorded the lowest number of killings last year, since 2011. No murmur, no whisper.

We should rather applaud the President, and our security agencies for the yeoman’s job they are doing. May God bless Baba Buhari. And our troops. Our policemen. National Security and Civil Defence Corps. Everyone that fights evil, so that the citizens can live in peace. May God bless them.

When you exhibit loud silence about positive developments in your country, and scream blue murder when there are reversals, you are a hypocrite, a hater of your country, and a hater of all that is good. Sad, dolorous, mournful.

Despite the security challenges we still have, the truth is that we are not where we used to be. Chief of Defence Staff, General LEO Irabor said it just last week. True. And we will get to where we want to be. The job will get done. And we will join Mungo Park to enthuse, when he ‘discovered’ the River Niger:

“I saw with infinite pleasure the great object of my mission-the long sought for majestic Niger, glittering to the morning sun.”

Nigeria has sought peace for long, from insurgency, banditry, kidnapping, and all sorts of criminality. We will see the peace, glittering to the morning sun.

*Adesina is Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity

Mr Adesina,
I wonder how you actually get to sleep at night? Because you have sold your conscience for a temporary mess of Aso Pottage which surely will end next year.
In your wildest dreams you believe Nigeria is much safer than in 2014/15? You craftily replaced one type of terror with another! See the hundreds MURDERED in their innocent sleep across the land, the depth of economic desolation that has driven many to either suicide or ritual murders and fraud, and the complete destruction of our systems.
Well... Time is a patient god... Along with its sibling karma

WhatCanIsay:
That Abba Kyari is a corrupt police officer and a criminal is no more surprising, we have crossed the bridge last year.

What should grab our attention now is the high smelling level of corruption and deceit in the police force. The NPF told all Nigerians that Abba Kyari has been suspended of his duties subsequent on his investigation. But today we were all made aware that it was all smokescreen, Abba Kyari has been functioning as a full fledged police officer even with his own police team under his beck and call.

He wasn't even bothered about the crime he committed and the "so called investigation" against him. He has been committing more crimes and arrests with the blessings of the Nigeria Police Force. This should tell all and sundry about the decay that is the NPF, the more senior you are, the more corrupt you are.

I think we shouldn't not just be flashing light exclusively on Abba Kyari, rather all lights and indignation should be zoomed upon the NPF authorities.

God bless you!
Nigerians are so easy to deceive. The first question I asked when this broke was HOW COME A SUSPENDED OFFICER IS STILL OPERATING FULLY??
The NPF doesn't rate us at all!
This is NO SCRIPT! This is karma for the entire NPF!

First I want peace in my home and I've been enjoying relative peace in my home.

I've been married for less than a year. I called my wife to discuss how we could keep the house clean and I went on to tell her that she puts things where they shouldn't be. She got upset and called her mum, she was crying while speaking with her mum over the phone.

Her mom called and we both made peace I discovered that she was recording our argument but I chose not to confront her there and then.

A day later, I asked why she was recording me and she lied but I gave her facts and she agreed. She said if I've nothing to fear why am I being upset about it. She said I should record her too cus she observed that when we speak to her mum after an incident I don't say the whole truth.

We both live overseas and she is the only person I've here.

I want peace in my home and I don't like trouble

You're in Big trouble... Very Big trouble especially as you live overseas...

One of the most poisonous snake in Nigeria.

Even though you look experienced in handling the creature, but be careful. Vipers are know to have fangs that can rotate back and front, together or independently. They can find a way to inject venom if not well immobilized.

These creature are dangerous, such that in many that are ovoviviparous (hold eggs inside their bodies, where they hatch inside emerge as living), the pregnant viper delivers on top of a tree to allow the newly delivered snake drop off and move on. A strike from the newly delivered snake can kill the mother-snake.

You sound like a seasoned snake enthusiast like myself. I hate the damn creatures but I admire them...

Please i need advise

I have been dating my girlfriend for some years now. She became an orphan recently, so I decided to open a shop for her so she can start earning something for her not to turn herself into something else since no family support.

Though she also invested all her savings into the business and I supported her also with the little i can. I thank God her business has been doing well and developing gradually.

But her behaviour has really changed seriously towards me. She hardly dail my number to check on me, she also goes out with any guy or men, she also password her phone, i cant even touch her phone, she will flare up. She will say it's nothing that she is just catching fun. I do overlook all this just to make peace rain.

Something happened yesterday that make me feel so bad. I told her I'm coming to visit her in her shop that if any food seller pass her shop, she should help me order food. So when I reached her side she told me to bring money that she can't use her money to buy food for me. I felt somehow inside with her response. I had to give her the money to get it because hunger dey wire me seriously.

So after I'm done eating, I was gisting with her but she is not responding, she was pressing phone, then a call entered and he told the man she is in her shop, that the man should stay at the junction that she is coming to meet him, she stood up and told me to be looking after her shop till she comes back. I was really dumbfounded and shocked, I coundn't utter any word as i don't want to talk or do anything silly as people are plenty around her shop. She left me there, I stood up also and left the shop. I really felt bad and sad. This is a person i have really tried my best for since she lost her parents. I'm planning to send her packing from the shop first, but my bro said i shouldnt try it that it's childish for me. He said I should chill for now. please I need your advice on how to go about this.

NOTE; I rent the shop for my MUM just to use it as her second shop to store her goods. Though the shop is too big, so i told her to let us split it into two, my gf can use the other half.

Baba, just collect your shop back and let her CATCH HER FUN... No mumu yourself oh
