Guestmale: Justice Omotosho held that the sentence should run consecutively without the option of fine except on count four which he allowed the payment of N10 million fine.
Furthermore, the court ordered the forfeiture of various foreign currencies that were recovered from the convict, as well as four choice property in Abuja that were traced to him.
Consecutively means he's going to spend each sentence one after the other... Total of 75yrs as against concurrent which would have made it 7yrs
GODISGREAT123: We are borrowing money because Tinubu is a first class graduate of accounting
You can't understand Sir
Even you cannot understand the gibberish you wrote. First Class graduate of accounting. So being first class in accounting means being a borrower rather than an astute manager of resources?
Aba people should not see drainage as a refuse disposal point. It has ALWAYS been an issue. Oti will not come and stop the blockage if people dont grow sense.
Anybody, male or female who decides to give their EX "A WEDDING CARD" invitation knows what they REALLY want to do. If you desperately need your EX to attend your wedding (which I really think is a stupid idea by the way), send them an electronic IV. Anything else is CLEAR CHEATING for the road
Zonefree: What kind of shameless explanation is this?
Please calm down. It's NOT shameless. While we expect the best, the REALITY is what was posted. We will get there someday but for now, it's the current reality
uwa002: Viral Ezenwanyi Miri explains her marriage to a Christian.
“He didn’t know I was a marine goddess when he fell in love with me. I also have a marine husband. I didn’t use charm. But if don’t find true love on land, my crown would not be complete. And the love must not be because of power, looks, or money for both of us. If not, the water will not accept it. I convinced him to do the water spiritual marriage, at first he didn’t believe in things like this. But he agreed after the Igbo traditional wedding. Now neither of us can cheat or we’d die. I’ve now received my full power and position in the kingdom. Please I didn’t use any charm on him, it was pure genuine love. If you are a goddess and you don’t have a man on land, you are not complete, you are just a messenger.”
UnknownQueen: Really, and you did nothing to it inspite of all the stories that scorpion carry venomous substance in them....Wow I'm just asking just incase ooo cos me I don't want to die now
I'm very serious, I did nothing. I have treated scorpion stings before. The major issue is anaphylaxis as SOME people react to the venom as well as the pain. But over all, if you have a strong immune system, you can handle the sting and move on
UnknownQueen: How did you handle it after the sting... I heard the poison mustn't get into your system (heart) else , next is death, so tell me how did u handle it?
I got stung too last two months. Just serious tingling and numbness and mild pain on my finger. The sting on my stomach didn't even hurt probably due to the fat.
I got stung last December in my bathroom. The little bastard found a way to climb to my towel. Got stung while cleaning my body, twice; one on my stomach and the second time on my finger. Still here though
And NO, I did not eat onions or anything like that
This headline is misleading. Ibom Air ALREADY flies to Ghana, abi Abuja to Ghana na local flight? The headline should be Ibom Air to commence International flights FROM UYO.
Even if it were true by some stretch of imagination, the main Beneficiary will be Cameroon that played DR Congo and lost. All assumption will be Cameroon to take their place or at least replay the final with Nigeria again (Which cannot happen due to the AFCON scheduling).
Simple thing is to sell to PHEDC to boost power supply to the environs or register a power distribution subsidiary and sell theirs through their own distribution network to individuals communities and companies to use, especially UniPort, UPTH and other similar facilities which will be cheaper than the irregular and inefficient grid distribution currently on ground.
These things aren't difficult.
We already have stranded power in the national grid and you want to add more stranded power to the stranded one again
saintcasmir: Have you ever stepped on a deadly snake? I did today—and I’m still shaking!
Today, I went to my papa’s farm to harvest some plantains. As I reached for one, something under my feet started moving violently, like the ground was alive.
I looked down… and OMO 😳—I was standing on a massive Gabon viper… with BOTH feet!
I screamed and ran, but fear made me trip, fall, get up, and almost fell again. My heart almost jumped out of my chest!
Somehow, I grabbed a stick and was able to kill it.
Never in my life have I felt fear like that. One moment, I was calm… the next, I was literally running for my life!
Anyway if you around Ondo Town, you may holla me for a tasty snake pepper soup.
You should be giving this testimony in Church or Mosque FIRST! Whatever supreme being you worship prevented the massive fangs from delivering a healthy fatal dose of venom into your foot which at BEST would have required an amputation.
saintopus: I agree say we have our peculiar problem in Nigeria 🇳🇬 but I don't think we will ever come to the stage where a president will remain in office more than the constitutional number of years. In Nigeria 🇳🇬 it's 2 terms of 4 years each. Even Wike and Akpabio may not support Tinubu for 3rd or 4th term. Na civil war you don bring come for Nigeria be that. It will not happen here. The highest it can possibly happen here is to rig the election and loot the country within those 8 years and after which you go your way.
This was what Cameroonians thought would NEVER happen till it DID...
First, thank God you said FEW YEARS AGO. Today, 1.5m cannot do much. Cost of electricity alone can take 10% of that earnings except you decide to do illegal bypass. School fees? Rent? Just prepare to realize that 1.5m is advanced lower class.
Then unless you're an illegal immigrant, why would you earn less than the minimum wage in the US? The US Iis NOT like Nigeria, so it the minimum wage is set, you cannot be paid lower than that per hour. So this analogy is DOA please
smtx: You are fundamentally mistaken in blaming the people. The deterioration of projects like FESTAC is a direct result of government failure and negligence, not citizen misconduct. The government, through the parastatal the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), is the official custodian responsible for maintenance and preserving the original structure.
Here are the key areas where the government is to blame:
Failure of Monitoring and Security: The FHA's dedicated monitoring teams, which once enforced building codes (e.g., prohibiting burglar bars, fences, and makeshift markets), have vanished. In the late 80's you dare not erect a buglary in a block of flats, or build a fence around T8, T9 or T10 duplex. With insecurity becoming a challenge every flat, duplex is fenced and well gated now.... Then you could walk through FHA field to 111 road without stress, now with fences and gates its impossible. This negligence created a vacuum.
Neglected Security and Infrastructure: The police, a government arm, failed to curb rising insecurity, forcing residents to install security gates and hire private guards. Furthermore, essential infrastructure like the Water Works reservoir stopped functioning in 1995, compelling residents to drill private boreholes.
Rampant Corruption and Land Grabbing: In the early 1990s, FHA officials engaged in mass corruption, selling off buffer zones, playgrounds, and fields like the popular FHA field to cronies and criminal elements. I remember the case of the Communion Church and the then Minister of Works Maj General Abdulkareem Adisa who wanted to demolish the church cos it was sitting on the buffer zone. This unchecked land racketeering fundamentally destroyed the original master plan (e.g., the infamously nicknamed "Cocaine Avenue".
100000% ACCURATE!!!
Poverty and Overpopulation: The government has failed to address the increasing population's need for housing, making it unfair to blame citizens for overcrowding.
I am PROUD to have lived my young and early teen age years in FESTAC Town. From 21 road to 23 road... I forever cherish FESTAC despite the total depreciation currently experienced
Dare is a liar. Does he think people don't have access to data and information? Ghana's debt to GDP in 2025 is 43% NOT 90%!!!! S/Africa is 54.3% while Nigeria is at 50%, all according to World Economics.
Sonnobax15: This female parasite should let Cubana chief priest be jor . It's only senseless people who will say that child belongs to CCP when it's so obvious to everyone with clear eyes like myself that that baby looks exactly like the mother herself . Abi the native hen go still claim say na CCP born her too? . Honestly,I blame men who believe whatever that comes out from the mouth of these modern day bannies without caring to add a little pinch of salt to it to know whether it's worth digesting or not
You are the first person with clear eyes saying what I've been saying since. The child is the MOTHER'S carbon copy. She's really seems quite desperate and unhinged. If she is serious, she should take a trip to Nigeria, and report to the relevant authorities to ensure the DNA is done here. Not shouting up and down on social media and putting herself to disrepute
