Thats the problem with the cars we all buy in the name of tokunbo cars,buying a car is beyond engine or gear quality, the shinny aesthetics and beautiful conture......tge under carriage is also as important for thorough inspection.....any dents,cracks or rusts especially the rear camber area,screws,bolts,joints all must be checked.......especially Canada cars due to excessive snow which corrodes the under carriage adversely.

This thing almost killed me in 2018,tokunbo Toyota Corolla, silver colour, clean and sharp barely driven for 3 months.......I was going on cruising speed about 80 to a 100km which is what I do all the time...... sagamu benin exp way just before ofosu,we were 3 guys in the vehicle,it was a wet day......all i heard was a little bum sound immediately car seemed to be struggling with me the driver, started swerving right,left before hitting the road median......the entire front and tyres damaged, gear box,radiator,condenser all gone,we initially thought it was a tyre blow out not knowing it was the camber at the rear that broke due to excessive rust......no life lost or injured but car was badly damaged that I had to sell after repairs covered by leadway insurance, though the money took a while to come........ofosu police station DCO,nah God go punish that man after all my ordeal he still heartlessly asked me to pay 30k for police report to tender to the insurance company(just to pick up a 200 naira pen and write a 1 and 1/4 page report)......any where wey he dey make God help me whip am.

Yes, I even spoke with my investment account officer and he said he would look into it. Till now, nothing. I am so exiting the fund after this. Funny enough, I funded via the GTWorld app so it is a direct debit. Not even a transfer.

Note that all the contact numbers on their site doesn’t work. They don’t pick the calls. The account officer number was seen in his email header and I called him many times for hours before he picked. I am shocked that a huge organization like Gtfund managers could be this callous in service. The least they can do is notify customers of a system glitch if there is a delay in top up. Rather; this is hide and seek. Stanbic all the way. 10 years with Stanbic, never had an issue that wasn’t resolved in 48 hours.

Failure of Monitoring and Security: The FHA's dedicated monitoring teams, which once enforced building codes (e.g., prohibiting burglar bars, fences, and makeshift markets), have vanished. In the late 80's you dare not erect a buglary in a block of flats, or build a fence around T8, T9 or T10 duplex. With insecurity becoming a challenge every flat, duplex is fenced and well gated now.... Then you could walk through FHA field to 111 road without stress, now with fences and gates its impossible. This negligence created a vacuum.

Neglected Security and Infrastructure: The police, a government arm, failed to curb rising insecurity, forcing residents to install security gates and hire private guards. Furthermore, essential infrastructure like the Water Works reservoir stopped functioning in 1995, compelling residents to drill private boreholes.

Rampant Corruption and Land Grabbing: In the early 1990s, FHA officials engaged in mass corruption, selling off buffer zones, playgrounds, and fields like the popular FHA field to cronies and criminal elements. I remember the case of the Communion Church and the then Minister of Works Maj General Abdulkareem Adisa who wanted to demolish the church cos it was sitting on the buffer zone. This unchecked land racketeering fundamentally destroyed the original master plan (e.g., the infamously nicknamed "Cocaine Avenue".
