1/4 My Beautiful Birth Story.
On the 8th of September, I went for my regular antenatal clinic and the doctor reconfirmed that everything was fine and DD was still 25th of Sept. On my way home, my MIL called to get update on the visit and reminded me to pack my hospital bags regardless of the date from the doctors and I made a mental note to ensure that I do it that same day (after several procrastination). Later that night, hubby and I packed the bags. Fast forward to 5am on the 9th of Sept, I felt wetness and jumped out of bed fearing that I was about to pee on myself, I got to the toilet, peed but there was still another liquid coming out that I couldn't control, but the liquid was leaking slowly. I went back to the room to tell hubby, but he said it is just discharge that my water can't be broken at this stage. I got angry that he just discarded my worries like. I went back to sleep, but this flow didnt stop! By 6am, I used sanitary pad and by 8am it was soaked. At that point, I told hubby I was going to the general hospital on the next street since I also registered there for backup. By 10, we decided to stroll to the hospital, by 11 I saw a doctor who examined me and said "Madam, you are 2cm dilated! " I was happy and shocked. He said there was no cause for alarm, that he could either admit me or send me back home to return by 3pm. I opted to be sent home since I didn't even want to deliver there.

Get unripe pawpaw and cut into pieces with the back. Soak overnight and massage the boob's with the water in the morning, wash out after 15mins. Repeat at night and see the goodness of God. Get the big size syringe and use to suck out the nipple.

It is well my dear, this will surely pass. Have u tried using syringe to pull the nipples though they said it's painfull. Hope it's not both miles, then continue with the one that is out while u keep working on the I inverted one. Have met a no of women's who breastfed their baby with just one breast. Cos the baby eventually rejects the breast that gives them stress. All the same continue to put the baby on the inverted nipple even if it's just for putting sake. With time the nipple will be out. Kisses to ur lo.

Thank you ma, we have used the syringe and also pawpaw water. We are now good, Thank God!!! Breast milk is now soaking everywhere

My dear the breast milk struggle is not funny, is ur breast flowing or ur baby is go ding it difficult to latch? What ever the case is don't hesitate to start infant formula pending when u establish u can support ur baby well with breast milk. It doesn't make less a mum don't listen to side talks. START FORMULA.

Thank you mama, he is not latching because of the inverted nipple, but we have made progress. Formula is still our primary meal and baby is doing fine

Keeo putting baby to breast, it will eventually flow. In the mean time, get formula for your baby. Alternatively, buy a breast pump to stimulate it.

Ma soleil arrived yesterday 28th via emergency C-section @36 weeks 1 day and weighing 2kg

I'm alive to testify of God's goodness, my princess is hale and hearty too, daddy is overjoyed it ended in praise and by his grace plenty money to take good care of her
The Lord be praised forever!!!

Thanks mama's for standing in the gap for us when we needed it the most. May God meet you all at the point of your needs too.

I haven't shopped o. (I just took small things from my market) we still have plenty things to buy.
Once I check sex one more time to confirm, I'll go through my reusables and figure out what to buy.
But the way my body is doing me izz somehow.
I fervently hope baby will cooperate till at least first week in October, I need to welcome my new kids in school and settle them down in Sept first of all.

According to the exchange rate as at today, that hanger is close to 8k. So the 6500 u got is cheaper. That being said, I'm in uyo and things are expensive here, ridiculously expensive. Although there are hangers of 5k.

What we do now is drive to Aba. We mostly get routine things here. Or i buy in lagos and my sister waybills to me.

My younger sis used it when she was 41 weeks plus. She swears it was what triggered her labour even when membrane sweeping failed. It was so short that b4 her hubby could come back from buying fuel she had put to bed.

But many ppl online says it is just a laxative and doesn't work well with many ppl.
