BrickDevo:Who is holding this is one? come and ban it na…. |
lashout1:Education indeed, baseless information and abuse of another person’s character…telling people to avoid someone he hasn’t dealt with is silly. End of discussion |
Poopypants:Nobody is forcing you to buy, take your money elsewhere to buy. Stop peddling wrong information |
Poopypants:How can you come on someone’s post and write this toxic comment. If you can’t buy, just move on instead of writing nonsense. Have you seen the object? Is it your business the price a seller wants to sell his product? Did anybody force you to buy?…people like you just irritate me…it is not compulsory to buy or comment! Learn to move on when you don’t have anything sensible to say! Personally I have bought things from this seller and I don’t have any regret. Someone you don’t know nor never had business dealings with, you are spilling trash that they should avoid him, you genuinely have issues! |

zaynie:I agree but it is just difficult to navigate the information here. For example, I can imagine the number of times we have discussed how to get breast milk flowing, baby shopping list etc. but due to the length of the thread it is quite difficult to look for info especially if you are a newbie. However, if there is a thread on these topics in the baby section, even google will present it when you search online. |
.. |
Liftedhands:No oooo, I mean a dedicated section. Instead of posting under health. |
Mamas good evening.... I have a special announcement/request!!! I think we deserve to have a dedicated section on Nairaland for Pregnancy and Child Care, I can imagine the loads of information we will be able to share and the easy of navigating that information with such structure. Do we need to jointly sign a petition for Oga Seun to answer this request? Abi what do you think mamas? At least there is a dedicated section for pets so why not for our noble child rearing journey. |
Rayhanna:Woow.... Congrats mama. May Almighty Allah bless your newborn |

4/4 The nurse said, since the only pain was in my rectum, I should push the next time I feel like pooing. So I kept pushing. After a while, she had to cut me to create more room. By 11.45, my beautiful baby boy came out screaming and was handed over to me...... To God be the glory. Ladies, please get ready for your babies from week 36, I can imagine what would have happened if I didn't pack my bags a night before the baby decided to show. BS submitted!!! thank you team September and thank everyone for sharing this journey with me |
3/4 We discussed with the nurse and she said they dnt do induction at night and my water level was still good plus baby is doing fine. She said they will watch me for the night and induce the next morning. Throughout all these, I wasn't even feeling any pain, just hunger! Once the nurse left, hubby got me bread and tea and I jejely hid to eat my food before hunger will kill me. Throughout the night, the nurse checked on me every 2hrs and refilled my saline water once. In the morning, I took my bath and asked for food again, they said NO! not even water. By 8, the doctor came to explain the induction process and gave the nurse go ahead to commence induction. 2 tablets were inserted in my rectum, an injection was given intravenously and half cytotec was inserted in my cervix. Within 20mins I went to poo hot shit!!! The nurse told me to let her know when I start having serious contraction. By 9.30, I started having serious pains in my rectum and waist but no contraction! The doctor told the nurse to examine me in another 3hrs. By 10, the matron was doing ward rounds and she saw my state and asked the nurse "What is her dilation like? "the nurse said "I have not checked since induction " the matron was mad!. She told her to check me immediately. Lo and behold, she found my baby's head at the mouth of my cervix! I was rushed to the delivery room. There was still no serious contraction and there was nothing to use to push. I was screaming my lungs off! from pain. |
2/4 To speed up the contractions, I decided to walk back home through a longer route and even bought yam to make for breakfast. On getting home, I took a warm shower, made and ate breakfast before settling down to rest and watch TV. By 1pm, I remembered the doctor had advised that I use castor oil and I decided to try but my stomach couldn't take it, so I ended up vomiting the castor oil alongside breakfast. By now, hubby was already getting worried so he insisted that we start going to the private hospital I registered. I got to the hospital around 3pm, I consulted with the doctor and explained all that had happened so far and he berated me for not coming immediately I saw the water. He said something about how baby must be delivered within 24hrs of fluid leakage, he said I had just 12hrs to deliver my baby. As a next step, he examined me and said it was just 3cm dilated and he might have to do CS if there is no progress within the available time, however, he said we should do scan to confirm the water level. Throughout all these, baby was doing fine and the scan also confirmed that the water was still very adequate. I was admitted and given glucose drip and antibiotics to prevent infection. I was also told not to eat because of the possibility of CS. By 9pm, hubby was really worried because after all the urgency, the doctor refused to induce labor and time was running out. The nurse came to examine again and it was still 3cm by 10pm even with membrane sweep. |
