This may be true, but there have been multiple instances where ladies who are educated acted feminine around me by being submissive, that I even started wondering why they were acting that way cos most don't behave that way with other guys. Ubunja, pls can you shed more light on this? |
We all have what it takes to be successful, we all have gifts and potential within us that's capable of catapulting us to success. The inability to utilize our God given gifts and talents is the reason why so many people are frustrated in life today. It is impossible to reach your destiny if you don't make use of your gifts. You can't become all that you are meant to become in life if you hide what you can do. Your gift is key to your upliftment. Having said all this, my question to you today is; What are you doing with your gifts, are just hoarding them away or are you making good use of them? |
Abid2020:Then you have to be consistent in whatever you do. |
We all want to succeed in life, but what most of us fail to grasp is that achieving success is not a day's job. It's a combination of long hours of hard work and consistency. See, whether you like it or not, consistency is key to success. It's easy to start something, but you need consistency to succeed. Without it, success can never be achieved. So I ask again, are you willing to pay the price for success? |
lol. That's where most of us first fell in love. |

A QUICK PINTEREST RUN DOWN Pinterest works like a search engine (it’s not technically ‘social media’). If you think of it like a search engine, the whole platform starts to make a lot more sense. You search for things, and then the results appear (just like Google). Only Pinterest shows its search answers in images (called ‘Pins’). So basically it’s just a big visual search engine. Pinterest will show you all of the ‘Pins’ that it thinks you're interested in (algorithms way beyond my skill level) and then you can ‘Repin’ these items (yes, you Repin the Pins). Pinning = adding something original to Pinterest Repinning = someone else's Pin that you’re re-saving to a board. You Repin to your Boards. Your Boards are like folders you create for your Pins, but they’re public (you can make them secret/private, too). This is just a way to keep all of your Pins organised. For example, if I was a foodie and loved collecting recipes, I would search Pinterest for recipe Pins, and would save (re-pin) the Pins that I like to my different Boards. I might have Boards like “Vegetarian Recipes” and “Chicken Recipes”. You can see my business profile here, all of my Boards, and each Pin that I have Pinned and Repinned to each of these Boards: https://www.pinterest.com/eabenard/boards You can Repin anything you see, and you can add whatever you want (with the add Pin button, you can add images from the internet or your computer). That’s basically the jist of it. Pin to your heart's content, but this post isn’t about Pinning for fun (really) it’s about Pinning for Business. So why would you want to Pin for business? Since we’ve established that it’s just a visual search engine, then, just like wanting to be at the top of Google, you should want to be popular on Pinterest. When you add an original Pin, you add a URL to the Pin. So people will click on your Pins, and it will take them directly to your website, or recent Blog post, or whatever address you added. All Pins link back to their source and that’s exactly what you want, traffic coming back to your website. In a nutshell, it’s a really easy platform to use that will give you a lot of traffic (your Pins will basically live on there forever). But, you need to focus on a few key factors to really boost your Pinterest performance. So go ahead, if you haven't already, and sign up for Pinterest for Business. If you already have a personal Pinterest account, I suggest you either start a new account for your Business, or convert your existing account to Business.

Kotlin is a new language that targets the Java platform; its programs run on the JVM (Java Virtual Machine), which puts it in the company of languages like Groovy, Scala, Jython, and Clojure, to name a few. Kotlin is from JetBrains, the creators of IntelliJ, PyCharm, WebStorm, ReSharper, and other great development tools. In 2011, JetBrains unveiled Kotlin; the following year, they open-sourced Kotlin under the Apache 2 license. At Google I/O 2017, Google announced first-class support for Kotlin on the Android platform. Below are some interesting reasons why you should learn Kotlin; 1. Like Java, it’s object-oriented. So, all those long hours you’ve invested in Java’s OOP and design pattern won’t go to waste. Kotlin classes, interfaces, and generics look and behave quite a lot like those of Java. 2. Statically and strongly typed. Another area that Kotlin shares with Java is the type system. It also uses static and strong typing. However, unlike in Java, you don’t have to always declare the type of the variable before you use it. Kotlin uses type inference. 3. Less ceremonious than Java. We don’t (always) have to write a class; top-level functions are OK. We don’t need to explicitly write getters and setters for data objects; there are language features in Kotlin, which allows us to do away with such boiler-plate codes. 4. It’s a functional language. Functions are not just a named collection of statements; you can use them anywhere you might use a variable. 5. Interoperability with Java. Kotlin can use Java libraries, and you can use it from Java programs as well. This lowers the barrier to entry in Kotlin; the interoperability with Java makes the decision to start a new project using Kotlin a less daunting enterprise. God created our bodies for sexual pleasure to be enjoyed in marriage without shame, saying, “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed” (Gen. 2:24–25). Therefore, God’s intent is that men and women would marry and enjoy sexual pleasure without shame. Simply, according to God, marriage and sex are related, connected, and exclusive. Sex as God intends it is for one man and one woman in marriage with the overarching purpose of oneness. Subsequently, by definition anything that contradicts God’s intent is sinful. Thus, sinful acts include homosexuality, bestiality, bisexuality, fornication, friends with benefits, adultery, prostitution, rape, polygamy, sinful lust including pornography, prostitution, rape, polygamy, pedophilia, incest, and anything else invented next to try and escape the clear teachings of Scripture. In case you are wondering why some men behave nicely when women are around them and behave anyhow when they are alone or with friends, a study has revealed why this is so. The study shows that men put in their best behavior when attractive or beautiful ladies are close by, and that the number of kind acts showed by men relates with how attractive a female is. The study, carried out by Dr. Wendy Iredale of Sheffield Hallam University and Mark Van Vugt of the VU University in Amsterdam and the University of Oxford, further shows that the extent of kind and selfless acts by men corresponds with the attractiveness of women who are around. Children might do better in school if they’re more physically active, a new study suggests. Researchers assessed the activity levels and reading and math skills of 186 Finnish children in grades 1 to 3. The study authors, from the University of Eastern Finland, report a link between higher levels of physical activity at recess and better reading skills, and a connection between participation in organized sports and higher math test scores.
