WoundedLamb: The fact that there are limited ways of settling down in uk is the turn off. You either have a child here ( which you’d still need the mother’s consent ) or you get married to British citizen ( you need her for years to settle down ). Depending on someone is not the best form of survival in uk. Life could be so miserable for the dependant. Hence why I said I’ve done my research and I think moving to a more friendly country like Canada would be better. |

Lagbaja88: Please tell me more. Being married to a British citizen would increase your chances? Even when you don’t understand french as applicant and all you have is just Bsc and working experience? Kindly elaborate |

Inkredible: Settling down here is hard. You either depend on someone or have a child and go through consent with the child’s mum etc. Nobody deserve to live on the edge when a woman can dictate your stay in the Uk. It’s better to goto a country where you’re likely to dictate what you want when you have skills etc. Hence why I’m not a fan of uk anymore. 1 Like |

I’ve only been in the Uk for less than a year. After critical reviews and deep reasoning with immigration lawyers, I figured uk is not as easy as projected when it comes to settlement. I’m planning to relocate to Canada but I don’t think I have the profile to match Express entry criteria. Please, I need suggestions and detailed information about how to relocate to Canada from uk. Thank you all. 1 Like |

justwise: I created this thread and it’s for people who are thoroughly affected not for people like you who don’t have any idea of what passport cost. No matter how much you try, people won’t share personal contact of their connect on a platform like this. You’d have to contact them personally. Hence why a more limited circle is needed. Common sense should tell you if we are going to source for chartered flight too, the arrangement can’t take place here with the level of fraud and sensitive information. But like I said, you’re very limited. I don’t expect much from you. 1 Like |

Ahmed4002: These figures from Ethiopian airline is outrageous. How much does chartered flight cost and why is anyone not looking into Cotonou route at all? Air France from Cotonou to London is 1,300 dollars. I saw that online |

You clearly saw what the other guy that went through lome to Canada said. He had to join groups and they made flight arrangement together. Source for information that would benefit them because he’s visa was going to expire. So please, take your negativity away. It’s the last thing anyone needs right now on this thread |

justwise: This is going to be a very long discussion, detailed discussion and people sharing personal contact of people they know that can help. Not everyone is comfortable with sharing personal contact on Nairaland that has 5 million users. Please people are affected so bad and some are committing suicide already. Don’t discourage people from doing what will get them to their destination. If you’re not affected by this, just zoom off. We don’t need your opinion on how to relate with people who can help people get out of Nigeria with solid information. We don’t want any negativity 3 Likes |

ednut1: Thanks for sharing this information. Please is there any way people can contact you for more information about this. It will help a lot of people and their family. You have no idea how people are battling with life threatening situations at the moment because they are stuck here. Hence why I created this thread. |

There has been news about Nigeria international airspace not working till October, while we wait for more news, we can’t fold hands and watch people go through mental torture. This thread is for people to share information they have or know about repatriation flights that pick people from Nigeria to UK, America and other countries. Also, the amount it will cost them. And how does going to Cotonou to board flight work? Is there any hassle with that? Any issues or difficultly ? Please share your experience and information you have, it will help a lot of people. 4 Likes |
Celebrities / Re: Davido Displays Beautiful Interiors Of His House: New Banana Island Mansion by dreddboy007: 7:57pm On Jun 01, 2020 |
Before you debunk and talk about things like this. Get property magazine, check the cost of flats in banana island. Then check mansions. Now, what is more lucrative than property investment ? I guess you don’t know the worth of this. Moving on Tekno made over 2.08 billion naira after dropping hits upon hits in 4 years. Now calculate how much davido makes with series of endorsement, Gold sales of album, streams and sold out shows. All I see in your statement is: you don’t know anything about show biz. Focus on reading rather than talking. 2 Likes |

Hi guys, I got to know this platform is very helpful about UK spousal visa. I read through the previous threads and I have a question. Some experts on this platform said if you want to apply for UK spousal visa. I need IELTS exam. But right now I have B.sc in mass communication. 1. Can I use that? 2. I saw something about going through UK Naric process if I don’t want to use IELTS. PLEASE GUYS ENLIGHTEN ME. If there is a way I can use my Bsc and it won’t hinder my application. Or if I should go for IELTS and what grade is expected of me if I do the exam. Thanks. God bless y’all. |
