EducationRe: The medical students and aspirants thread by Dreeam: 9:45am On Jun 14, 2022
Hi guys, I am called Victor, I am a medical student at the University of Uyo. But that's not why I am posting after all this while (yes, I have been on this thread for years).

I started learning web development 2019 and since I have finished, I am trying to create value through my skills. If you need web development services I am your guy, I now help businesses with websites which aim at converting their visitors to regular customers.

Here's my portfolio site, https://goldenwebdesign.netlify.app/
I am also currently building this school website, https://santana-rhetoric.netlify.app/ you can follow me along as it's currently being built and you will notice the layout changes and pages being added real time. Awesome right?

So if you know who needs my services, feel free to connect with me, my contact details are shown on my portfolio website.

I have seen a lot of websites in Nigeria and the thing is, they have really poor quality and without the end viewer in mind that's what you generally get.

I bring high aesthetic judgement to my builds as you will observe, I buy a good design and I code it by hand. It's superior professionalism.

TONYE001:
1. Housejob placement is hard to come by, true; however, you have at least 6 years before you graduate and a new reform could sort this out.

2. There are entry exams into the postgraduate college. Pass the exam and you're in. Then you look for a centre that'd accept you. I think this is how it works.

I think you should concentrate on the immediate challenge which is getting into the program and graduating. Every other thing would fall in place, one way or the other.
Good day Sir, how can I view your diary, it's been locked ever since.

White house accommodates us, white house sitting capacity is more than 1,000 , the only problem in the school is the hostel, many students even stay off campus 50%

A school were they have 21hrs light daily in the hostel....? The hostel just need renovation and proper maintenance like they just did in NSUKKA CAMPUS ,2nd MBBS student don't stay in PHYSIO AUDITORIUM...! you know stop Ranting
Why do we have quotas again in schools?
Its not your personal preference and acceptability that defines the problem, its a holistic concept. Ten out of fifteen people will tell you that the management is simply dismal.

Froshchuksswart:
You are right, what do you expect our school fees is just 45k for 2nd year student the hostel is 12k for boys Kenneth dike and mbonu ojike male hostel

You paid 45k+ 12k =57k for both ACADEMIA and ACCOMMODATION what do you expect ,57k is not even up to EBSU hostel fee at all, not to talk of the development fee they pay in EBSU...

You don't expect to live big with such amount na haba fear God..,

but when it comes to students UNN have good medical students, what do you expect when you come to a class seeing people who scored 290+ populating 70% of the class, you can even learn from them before the lecturer teaches the topic,UNN is a very good medical school the only problem is our POPULATION we are too much in UNN...Imagine tell me now how can you compare MEDILAG(CMUL) to UNEC when in a class you have just 100 medical student and 15 dental students, compared to UNEC with 350 medical students with 150 dental Students

But then our class for 2nd MB student is big enough to accommodate us and our lab too are ok they share us into batches (is just that the management is not doing well)
We expect proper management of the school and the school systems.

"You don't expect to live big with that..."

Um, that doesn't matter really, don't let corrupt practices become normal, I think we should actively shun them.
Thank you.
EducationRe: The medical students and aspirants thread by Dreeam: 7:56pm On Oct 16, 2020
Hi guys.

I want to know if those taking exams to enter year 2(didn't study for year1 or write UTME) used the same year 1 text books that UTME candidates use, to write their exams for entrance to year 2.
And can you list some general books on basic sciences e.g Cambridge A level Physics, how and why lecturers may select various books or be insistent on one particular book and maybe your own judgement on why you should or should not ( or a third idea) listen to them?
EducationRe: The medical students and aspirants thread by Dreeam: 3:08pm On Oct 10, 2020
Pertaining to U.N.N and it's mega shambolic management, I think the take away is that whilst choosing a medical school, nominal glory based on antiquity shouldn't be on the top of your list on "the reason to choose X school", more especially medicine which harbors fervent competition for admission into those sort of schools.

Also, when going for interviews as a medical graduate you won't be asked " which medical school did you attend?" Instead its more like " where did you train?".
The real deal is on the teaching hospital and the knowledge you acquired.

I mean I as a patient won't care about whether you are a U.N.N graduate or an ABSU graduate, but can you do your job "efficiently"?

To cement the foundation of this whole rambling I would say that I was a little biased(if you saw what I did there), its not all black and white but a whole spectrum of colors.

As you make your choice, I wish you the proverbial wisdom of Solomon.

Practice testing Self-testing or taking practice tests over to-be-learned material :High

Distributed practice Implementing a schedule of practice that spreads out study activities over time :High

This is the basic thesis of how I built my methods, currently I am learning two new languages and also a programming language with the with the ones with high output.
I won't be able to describe two years worth of data here. Maybe send me your e-mail.

And two months is quite good enough, but you will have to cultivate willpower to push through because you will be forced to master a lot of materials.
Generally you will get tired really( the brain consumes 30% of oxygen and can go higher the more it works harder) fast but build stamina as you go.

Je souhaiterai vous meilleur de chance.☺

My study methods are revolutionary(my opinion).
You can learn the most advanced of topics on new fields and still do exceptionally well.

Dream here, hello everyone. I am a new member at NL thread.

Does anyone know the previous number of students that was admitted as of the 2019/20 academic session for the university of Uyo, Medicine and Surgery?
The average cutoff mark for past years, their criteria for offering admission and an example of
a scenario where the criteria is being met to boot?
