I got my work authorization approved today that’s under one month as well.
I even got my driver’s license in less than 2months of my arrival.

I got issued on Wednesday 16/11
And ready for pick up today 18/11
Also received the embassy email

It’s just so hard to digest, I can’t Imagine waiting that long and getting a refusal under 5 minutes. So sorry bro.

I was interviewed by the same woman
These were my questions
1. How did you meet ?
2. How did she get to the US?
3. Has she been married before?
4. Does any of us have a child?
5. How many times has she visited?
6. When do you plan having kids and how many?
7. Aside from the police clearance of the two countries you’ve lived in, have you lived in any other country more than 6months?
8. What does she do?
9. Is she living alone?
10. Why was my passport issued in Benin republic?

I tried as much to be calm while answering those questions and she look through the pictures I submitted and return them to me with the white paper.

My opinion is try as much as possible to be calm while responding, it makes you think what your response will be

Another thing I noticed, the circumstance of meeting matters to them, they tend to ask more questions from those who met via social media as against those that met maybe via family and friends or are friends back then in Nija before any of them relocated…

Please I have a question for those that had their interview recently. Regarding the police clearance, do you have to do the old one with fingerprints or the new one without finger print is accepted at the embassy?
