Madam Debiee and Co please always check up on this trend even after your collection from time to time at your leisure so as to impact your wealth of experience/knowledge on other prospective applicants. |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by drelicx: 5:23am On Jan 08, 2022 |
I really appreciate everyone on this trend, keep the good work up. Bravo!
submission and biometric enrolment on 19th November TLS 1st and 2nd mail for passport shipment with a tracking number on 5th January passport delivered with 180-days visa on 7th January Though i applied in Poland as a first-timer (standard application)
I wish everyone with awaiting decision a positive response.
NOTE: Please kindly evaluate your monthly SOA properly before completing the application most especially in the section "How much money are you personally planning to spend on your visit to the UK" and "What is the total amount of money you spend each month".
My personal observation on the financial statement: To know the total amount of money you spend monthly, sum all expenses (money transferred without a quote "payment for" in transfer subject to family/friends/anyone should not be included) each month reflecting on your SOA and divide it by 6 (if you are submitting 6-months SOA). All the best in our endeavors. |

Thanks bro, I have sent u an email request please let chat. Brown2Green: Sorry about this..
One of the deciding factor in interviews according to the over 500 transcripts I have seen is how well you can answer to why this school? and why this course?
Some trivial things count.
Why are you going to the United States? I'm going to obtain a Masters degree in Accounting at the University of bla bla in bla bla
That's different from saying I'm going to bla bla to study accounting. Like you are making the VO figure out himself if it will be MSC, Bsc, or PhD.
Why this school? I think you could have started better
Interviews are meant to be a conversation and not a question and answer session.
I see you're working as an accountant in this company, what are you studying?
You should flow in same manner! Oh! Yeah I do book and record keeping alongside other professional tasks. I studied accounting.
You need to take time to go through the approved transcripts to get better outcome in your next interview.
The house might have more to say. |

Thanks baba, I have dropped my transcript and I want to reapply as soon as possible preferably next week. Visa are been issued here. How can I go about it? Brown2Green: Denial is only temporal.
Drop transcript before the house can advice you. |

My F1 Visa was denied today in Dubai. My interview transcript goes thus: VO- Goodmoring Me- Goodmoring sir, VO- pass me your passport, where are you going in US Me- I am going to university of Minnesota crookston to study accounting. VO- Speak up Me- I repeated the same in louder voice. VO- Why this school Me- I considered three things firstly, being an account student, student qualifies for CPA ........... VO cut in ok Meanwhile this VO is in kind of rush because of the way he was bombarding with questions. Vo- I can see you are working as an accountant in this company. What are you studying? Me- accounting Vo- ok ok ok I can can see undergraduate? Me- yes Vo- who did you know in Minnesota? Me- I don't know of anybody in the US Vo- How long have you been in UAE? Me- since 2017.... VO cut in said 2years right? Me- yes Vo- what is your salary? Me- answered Vo- did u have family in UAE? Me- No sir Vo- who is paying for my fee? Me- My uncle who ........ VO cut Vo- sorry your visa is not approve this time you this white paper will explain you can try again next time. Note: the Vo is not always waiting for my response before he ask another even at a point he was the one answering the question he wants to ask and I also noted that during our conversation, he was sniffing his nose and shaking his head frequently to the left side as if he needs he needs an urgent attention because he wasn't giving me a breathing space. |

ekpotek: Being in school could be a strong tie, depending on how you package your application to demonstrate that you will return back to your studies after your visit. This, in turn, will depend on your current level of study, the name of the school, the degree in view, and financial support of your study (scholarship etc?). Your closing bank balance or account statement is irrelevant here since you're a student and your uncle is the one sponsoring your education and the UK trip by inviting you to come along. I suggest that you work more on providing documents on your schooling tie. These will include but not limited to Admission letter, payment of school fees, certified semester results, school academic transcripts, letters of introduction from your school authorities, head of department, dean of school/college, course registration etc. Level of study: just concluded HND1 going to HND2 but currently on holiday. (Fulltime student) Name of School: Yaba College of Technology. Degree in View: Higher National Diploma Certificate. Means of Financial Support: My Uncle |

ekpotek: .
Your age, social and economic ties will be highly suspicious to ECO as there is nothing strong enough to compel you to return back to Nigeria after your visit.
Sure you can do an affidavit to show your relationship with your uncle. Your uncle should include a cover letter to ECO claiming his responsibility to you as a guardian and why he wants you to accompany him to the UK. The only tie am considering is my school, meanwhile i want get my bank account busy for the next one month(with closing balance of 600k) as we've concluded to submit d package nxt month. Can that b of help based on social and economic ties? |

drelicx: I hail oo every1 in da house, abeg gurus in da house mak una help a broda o. Am a polytechnic student in Nigeria, I've never travelled before and my account is empty. my uncle just completed his online master program in uk university, so he is invited for graduation ceremony in which he only want both of us to attend the ceremony, though he had been to d uk once, he spent one week with his wife & they both came back home. My uncle have a good travel history (USA, France, China), he's working in good company & earning well with a robust account balance. My questions are: 1) what document do I need to submit alongside with my uncle? 2) I & my uncle are not bearing the same surname but he bears same surname with my mom (he is my mom junior brother) and I have been living with him for over 10yrs. What document can I use as a back up for this? 3) what is the chance of getting d visa ( we are spending a week in d uk, meanwhile we also want to visit our inlaw) Your quick response will highly be appreciated. We are commencing d application next week. Thanks Abeg house mak una reason to my matter o |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by drelicx: 5:19pm On Apr 08, 2017 |
ekpotek: Your relationship to your uncle is not a strong proof of a home tie. Your uncle application is likely to be approved as he has a good immigration history to the UK. I am not so sure about yours as it will depend on your age at the time of application. If you're above 18 years, you not a minor, as such the ECO may be worried about your real intention to visit the U.K. with your uncle. Anyway you will need documentation from your school. Admission letter, exam results, course registration, letter from school permitting you to travel outside the country if the school is in session. Documents that support your relationship to your uncle e.g. Photographs, evidences that you are staying with your uncle and that he is your guardian. Good luck. Thanks ekpotek, Am 27yrs. Can I go to d high court to mak affidavit of support which I'll attach I & my uncle passport photograph as a legal prove of relationship, or can i attach my mom & I birth certificate. Perhaps what type document can I use as an evidences that am staying with my uncle and that he is my guardian. |
