US, Canada, Europe South Africa, Asia, all increased and recorded fuel and energy prices in the last 8 years by using the Salami effect.

The only problem with Nigeria is the lack of Salami effect.
A situation where government kept the prices static for 5 to 15 years and just increased it by a significant percentage is hurting to the people.
Salami effect is used by corporate organizations to increase the price of goods and services over a long-term basis.

Us, Canada, Europe, South Africa has no crude oil exports like Nigeria has.
