Politics › Re: Amaechi Lied Maritime University Is Only At ‘feasibility Study’ Phase by driand(m): 11:14am On Jan 22, 2016
saint047:
Proof has emerged that the Minister of Transportation and Aviation, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi lied concerning the Nigerian Maritime University.
The minister while trying to justify the Federal Government's decision to scrap the Nigerian Maritime University told the senate Committee on Marine Transport that there was no work on the Permanent site of the Maritime University in Okerenkoko, Delta state and insisted that what was on ground was “just the feasibility study”.Amaechi said; “Whoever that is holding on to the money should better return it. The Chinese company contracted, confirmed that only the feasibility study was in place.”According to photographic evidence gathered by our correspondent who visited the site of the Maritime University, contractors were seen on working on site with heavy duty equipment, while buildings were captured at various phases of construction contrary to Mr. Amaechi’s claims. According to our correspondent, the temporary site of the Maritime University in Kurutie, Warri South-West of Delta state was equipped with necessary structures and facilities and was set to admit students into the 2016 Academic year pending the completion of structures at the permanent site.
A resident of the community who spoke to our correspondent said that there was no truth to claims by Mr. Amaechi as work was ongoing, he said that the contractors were being arrested while working on the site.
Other residents groaned that the Government was sending a wrong signal to the community as that is what they got from having a son of the Niger Delta as President. They remarked that in spite of the difficult terrain of the area where it is difficult to get sand, the contractors remained on site and dismissed the Ministers comment as uncharitable and sending a wrong signal.
The ground breaking ceremony was performed by former President GOODLUCK Jonathan on the 10th of May, 2014 while the Federal Executive Council approved the decision for the school to take off in 2015.

Celebrities › Re: Blogger who exposed Maima Writes Iceprince. Maima is a runs girl by driand(m): 11:10am On Jan 22, 2016
Daminaj2:
- According to NaijaJistLive, Maima was not just akin's girl but a runs girl that get him girls. Read on. Long but if you like Amebo. It is worth every second. grin

Dear Ice Prince Zamani,

I need to clarify a few things because u seem a but confused about dis whole mess. D original story on Maima is something I CREATED FROM A TIP. A female messaged me from her REAL account. She is close to Akin & Maima. She thought it was wrong Maima was cheating on u so she told me about dere trip together in Paris/London. When I now landed dere pages, ma detective eye saw d matching dates & backgrounds to create d pic frames dat r circling all d blogs.

Someone copied my work & sent it to Stella, & others followed which is how d truth got lost in translation.

AKIN NEVER WANTED TO BE EXPOSED. It is not him dat is trying to claim her or chase her publicly. He is a married man, no married man wants to disgrace his family. Why else would he lock his page and change his name? Obviously he’s embarrassed by being caught.

I know Maima fed u some bullshit about her in law being dere, Will Collins. But what u need to understand is Maima & Akin have been seeing for a long time. He knows all of her friends and family. He is her only sponsor, he has taken Bebe & her son & Maima on trips to Miami, he paid for her maintenance, bought her a car & she is always msging him for money & asking when she will see him so she can flaunt she is a world traveller on Akin’s dime. He took her to Dubai which is where she got her chest piercings. U can confirm all dis with Maima but am sure she is still lying as females do when caught.

When u started tweeting against him, he added a photo of Maima & Will to prove it’s a family relation. He even added Charles Nkewa office to try to PROTECT MAIMA not disgrace her. But no one saw dat but me.

U may not want to hear dis but I was told years ago, Akin went to Ghana & uses dis woman to introduce him to other women, Maima was one of d girls Akin picked. (And am being courteous of ur feelings with dis story) BUT U NEED TO FACE FACTS. DON’T BE NAIVE. She is one of many lazy woman dat does not want to work but live off Akin & ur fame. Stop making her popular for d next man. Keep ur relationships off social media.

I know love is blind, but u r embarrassing ur self not seeing what is clearly infront of u. Stop siding with Maima, make her admit d truth & stop making Akin d villian. How dare u anyway? He is d reason u even found her attractive because d guy has fixed & upgraded her from d ground up like a true constructionist.

I know a lot of copy & paste bloggers have been stealing my work but don’t have the facts straight.

D way u r trying to drag this man is so wrong.

Maima needs to be a woman & grow up. She needs to admit to u dat she has previously & recently went to see Akin.
I know u r a God fearing person, don’t get caught up in woman’s lies to disgrace another human being & make him out to be the bad guy!
You need to tweet & apologize to Akin. Let it be something like “I want to apologize to Akin, I KNOW now he did not expose or try to claim Maima, some new info is brought to light, I know the truth now & I am working through it.” People will respect you more, your fans will appreciate you & d people dat know d truth about Akin will not make you out to be a fool. DO NOT RUIN UR HUMBLE REPUTATION OVER A GIRL.

Politics › More Than $6.5 Bn Stolen In Nigeria In Seven Years: Minist by driand(op): 7:19pm On Jan 18, 2016
Nigerian state governors, ministers, business leaders, public officials and bankers allegedly stole $6.7 billion in public funds in seven years, information minister Lai Mohammed said on Monday.

Mohammed told reporters in the capital, Abuja, that some 1.34 trillion naira ($6.72 billion, 6.15 billion euros) was allegedly stolen between 2006 and 2013.

"The situation is dire and the time to act is now," he added.

Giving a breakdown of the alleged theft, Mohammed claimed:

- 15 former state governors stole 146.84 billion naira

- 11 businessmen took 653 billion naira

- Eight people in the banking industry stole 524 billion naira

- 12 former state and federal public servants made off with more than 14 billion naira

- four former ministers took seven billion naira

The period covered starts toward the end of the second term in office for Nigeria's first civilian president after military rule, Olusegun Obasanjo. He was replaced in 2007 by Umaru Musa Yar'Adua.

Goodluck Jonathan took over in 2010 when Yar'Adua died in office.

Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari came to power in May last year, vowing to crack down on endemic corruption in Africa's most populous nation.

He accused Jonathan's administration of leaving the treasury "virtually empty" and vowed to recover what he said were "mind-boggling" sums stolen from the public purse.

Former national security advisor Sambo Dasuki and a string of high-profile figures are currently facing corruption charges over allegedly bogus arms deals to the tune of $2 billion.

Last Friday, the investigation was widened to military top brass who served under Jonathan.

Mohammed said tackling corruption was central to Buhari's administration but added that it involved everyone.

"This is Nigeria's war," he said.

Nigeria's main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused Buhari of conducting a witch-hunt against its members. Obasanjo, Yar'Adua and Jonathan were all PDP presidents.

But the current All Progressives Congress (APC) government would not spare anybody who has stolen public funds, regardless of their political affiliation, ethnicity or religion, added Mohammed.

Mr soldier, it would Be very easy for me to empathise with you but considering you people treat us like animals because we are bloody civilians it's hard for me to pity you

Until you people treat bloody civilians with honor and respect like your colleagues in the usa and uk we will continue to ignore your plight

In the usa and uk when bloody civilians see a soldier they consider them a hero and people even at times jostle to take pictured with them. In uk and usa there's a discount for ticket sales for people in the military (train tickets, movies and so on). Right here no business man will consider giving you respect or any discount in his business?, not when you have probably brutalised his child, friend or one of his family

Until you see bloody civilians as the reason you have a job( you swore under oath to protect them) we will not pity your pains and struggles

Bye
