I want to seek redress on character assassination, false accusation and damages that have been caused on my business and person.

It has been hitherto observed that yesterdays interview was riddled with certain shortcomings and steps should be taken to forestall a repeat of such anomalies in the future.

1. The moderator who was supposed to keep watch abdicated her responsibilities, hence the interview exceeded the supposed time limit at which the thread was supposed to be locked .

This made it a free for all and very rowdy session. Contestants also had excess time to answer questions posed at them in a bid to impress Nairaland voters.

Dominique has since apologised for her absence but failed to explain why she could not delegate her duty to co moderators.

2. Certain members have chosen to directly attack contestants in a bid to make them look bad and unpopular.

Such elements are to be investigated, banned and prevented from taking part in the contest until voting ends.

Safedavid
Repogirl
Joseph1832

And their alternate monikers.


3. I will like to personally appeal to all contestant to display the spirit if sportsmanship and their supporters should desist from attacking their opponents. They should rather focus on making intelligent comments that would portray their favourite candidate in good light.

It is to this end I want to wish the rest of the contestants a successful outing this evening.

I finally got through to the customer care line and they disappointedly couldn't trace the transaction.

I am not surprised that the CCR couldn't give me a valid report of transactions I made within a certain period.

Typically of MTN. It's unfortunate that I did not save the message notification I got due to sms memory space.

Perhaps if the Mods pushed this to the front page their reaction would be different.

The feedback I got from one of the CCR's was as if I was causing a nuisance because of just 2k.

Over a month ago, I made a transfer of just 2,000 Naira from my Diamond Yello Account to my GT Account.
Unfortunately, the transaction was not successful and while MTN made deductions from my Diamond Yello Account.

On finding out the money was not available in the GT Bank account, I made several calls to the 118 customer care center yet the customer care representatives were unable to trace or track the said transaction.

I also tried to view my Mini statement via the USSD code but I was only able to view the last 4 or 5 transactions I did which were mostly airtime recharge.

The last CCR I spoke to then asked me to find the exact date I made the transaction and call back so they can report to the appropriate quarters for rectification.

So I had to call the person who made a payment to me that same day to check the teller hoping to get back to the CCR only for me to get an auto response that " I am not authorised to contact this number".

This has been the response I'm getting for 2 weeks now so I asked a friend to dial 118 from his MTN number and he got through. Hence the reason for this thread since there are no other channels through which I can lay my complaint as it seems they have blocked my number from contacting them after so many attempts.

2,000 Naira isn't that much but in this harsh economy, I could still do something with it.

Mods should please help put this on the front page because I find it disdainful that the CCR's would do such.
