The governor of the eastern heartland, Gov Rochas Okorocha has declared a 3 week public holiday in Imo state.

According to the Pulse Ng, the governor made the declaration during the Imo Day thanksgiving service over the weekend.

The holiday will last from December 19, 2016 to January 10, 2017.

A 34-year-old lady has just reported her husband to an undisclosed court after he denied her of sexual activities.

Aside from stripping her off her marital rite, the woman whose name was not disclosed explained that her husband is fond of assaulting her both physically and emotionally. She said: “He has been beating me claiming that I hate his relatives. He has also been denying me conjugal rights. We no longer have sex. He left home since July.”

In a defense, the lady’s husband admitted that he has been denying the woman of her marital right but that is due to the fact that he is tired of his wife and is ready to put an end to the marriage.

To everyone’s surprise, the court ordered that the man should continue with the marriage and at the same time satisfy his wife in bed.

This is an amateur video showing inside the church building where 200 People lost their lives in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.

Recently in the news is the story of how 180+ people lost there lives after a church building collapsed on the congregations.

The incident happened at the Reigners Bible Church International in Akwa-Ibom state which saw the Governor of the state Udom Emmanuel narrowly escaping death.

The building collapsed during the consecration of Pastor Akan Week as a Bishop, leaving many worshippers trapped.

On Sunday angle today, i want to talk about some bizarre verses, Believe it or Not verses, Crazy verses in the bible. verses you may not believe are in the bible if told on a normal day, but believe it or not we checked and its there, lets get started with the countdown.

10. OUR EYES are in the front because it is more important to look ahead than to look back.

11. WE USED a pencil when we were small but now we use pens… do you know why? Because mistakes in childhood can be erased but not now.

nice one , hunger can make you do strange things when it comes to cooking

It was during my undergraduate days. I thought I just discovered a nice combo. Sweet potatoes and beans, it was a recipe prepared by one ajegunle boy at that time, we ate d hell out of this stuff. When I came back home from skul, I was sweet potatoes and beans is heaven, my mum knew I hate beans, she was puzzled and she told me, you gonna cook that your sweet potatoes. I prepared the combo, that nite, oh boy! Everybody took a taste and was like, wetin be this!
It was funny then oh! I warm and ate dat meal for like.... I can't remember naw. It was like a dream that day, I didn't know that hunger played and huge factor in me liking that Cambo at skul dat time.

Most of you might have come across this old tweet where a Twitter user shared her worst cooking disaster.

And i remembered the day i put raw egg inside water. i had a lot of sisters and my mum never allowed me into the kitchen, so i never knew how alot of food were prepared.

on that fateful day i wanted to cook egg for indomie, so i brought out the eggs, broke them and poured the raw egg into a bowl, then brought a pot filled it with water and put it on the gas.

And then poured the egg inside. what happened next is why i will never forget that day. a cooking disaster.

Athumani Mchambua has launched an elaborate search for a partner after his wife died. He put up advertising posters in the low income area of Mbagala, urging interested applicants to show up for an interview.

The poster, in Swahili, says the successful candidate must be hardworking, able to handle farm work and be willing to be a step-mother to his 11 children.

Mchambua told the BBC that he wanted to do the search on his own and not through intermediaries, which is traditional in some cultures.

“I felt that if I was to use a traditional intermediary to find a wife, they might find a woman and then want to keep her for themselves. That’s why I decided that I search for her on my own, and put out those posters.
I have held the interview only once and four candidates showed up, but no one had all the qualities. Some mentioned only two out of four [qualities] but not more than that,” he said.


His daughter, Dalia Mchambua, told the BBC that she was happy with her father’s process and was ready to accept the winning “candidate” as her mother.
