” I have a cousin who is in a very serious relationship, and then he decided to meet with the lady’s parents, and introduce himself to them. Alongside the discussion, the mother of the lady popped the question, “How much do you earn Monthly?”. This left my friend speechless, though he was least expecting it but, he had to cover up…..Though he earns a decent sum.

Nigerian comedian, Bovi has cried out on instagram about a typical woman who has been trying to blackmail him, he posted the chats below(First image)

With the caption,

"The above woman has been going back and forth trying to blackmail me emotionally because she says I snubbed her husbands messages. After failing to prove that I did that or that I know him personally, I urged her not to DM me on his behalf again if she has any regards for him. She went against my advice. I suspected she would so I have our entire chat history saved. This is d tail of it. It's the dead of the night but this woman won't just stop..... now this is a memo to whom it may concern; it's easier to lie against me blatantly than to guilt trip me. If you try to make me feel bad I will make you feel bad. I lost my mum exactly 12 months ago and part of my anger is that she always let sleeping dogs lie all d time. 70-year-old Zimbabwe's Provincial Affairs minister, Cain Mathema has walked down the aisle with his 23-year-old sweetheart, Bathabetsoe Nare.

The beautiful young lady, who was a former student at Midlands state University and graduated in November, married her lover at a colorful wedding at Southerton Comfort Lodge in Bulawayo.


Mathema dumped his first wife for a maid who was then, 20, before marrying her customarily in 2009 and he later dumped the maid-wife for Nare. The matter came to light when his ex-wife sued Mathema for adultery before their divorce.

Nare is said to have met Mathema at Mhlahlandlela government complex in Bulawayo when she was on attachment in 2014.

Olumuyiwa Osinuga popularly known as Nomoreloss, Multi-talented singer and comedian. Nomoreloss was married to popular Rhythm FM OAP Phoenix (Adeola Osinuga) in 2008 and welcomed their daughter in January 2011. He served as a judge on MTN-sponsored West African Project Fame for two seasons between 2010 and 2012. he was diagnosed of Typhoid Fever and was hospitalized for a while but was soon discharged. He died Tuesday, March 21, 2016 after he was reportedly rushed to a hospital following a relapse.

6) Festus Aguebor

Festus Aguebor, is a Veteran Nollywood actor…Starring in thrilling movies like Family Contract starring Desmond Elliot, Chioma Akpotha, Steph-Nora Okere, Afolabi Bolasodun Makinde, Grace Evaly, amongst others.

He passed away in February, 2016 on the 23rd.

Bukky Ajayi was born and bred in Nigeria but completed her higher education in England, She was a Nigerian Actress, presenter and newscaster for NTA.

she made her film debut in the television series Village Headmaster during the ’70s before she went on to feature in Checkmate, a Nigeria television series that aired during the late 1980s to the early 1990s.

She passed on at the age of 82, Reports say that she has been battling with a heart related condition before she passed on at her Surulere residence.

Stephen Okechukwu Keshi (23 January 1962 – 7 June 2016) was a Nigerian football defender and manager. He led Nigeria to win the 2013 “Africa Cup of Nations“. Keshi had a heart attack and died en route to hospital on 7 June 2016 in Benin City, aged 54.

2) OJB Jezreel

Babatunde Okungbowa, popularly known by his stage name OJB Jezreel or OJB, was a Nigerian singer-songwriter and record producer. He single handedly produced ‘Face 2 Face‘, 2face album that contained tracks like African Queen that took 2face to another level. He died at Isolo, Lagos on June 14, 2016 of kidney disease. (aged 49).

3) Genevive Nene


Genevive Nene hails from Ebonyi State, Before her death she was a Nollywood actress and screen vixen. The late actress has featured in alot of movies ,”Secret Mansion” and “Dorobucci Love” being examples. She died on May 3, 2016 in Lagos. It was gathered that the actress had not been enjoying good state of health for sometime but had continued working on movie sets till few days back.

4) Shuaibu Amodu

Shuaibu Amodu (April 1958 – 10 June 2016) was a Nigerian football coach. Before his death He was re-appointed Nigeria manager in October 2014, replacing Stephen Keshi. It was his fifth spell in charge of the country. Keshi returned to the role two weeks later but was fired in July 2015 and Amodu took over the Eagles again temporarily. He was replaced by Sunday Oliseh on a permanent basis later that month. Amodu died on 10 June 2016, three days after the death of Stephen Keshi.

A Nigerian female corper who almost lost her life in a serious road road accident has shared a selfie of her bloody face on social media.

The young lady identified as Judith also shared a photo of her mangled car and wrote:
"It's only by God's grace and love that we (my preg aunt, her 2 little children, the driver and I) were able to survive this. Words can't express how shocked, scared and confused I was and still am but am grateful to God that we all came out of it alive..."
