Agriculture / Re: Poultry Farming In Nigeria by dripstoil: 10:01am On Oct 12, 2012 |
There are basically three different breeds of bird for poultry business. We have the Broilers, Cockerels, and Layers. The [size=14pt]Broilers grows very faster and are ready for sale at 12 weeks from hatch. Cockerels grows slower and can take up to twenty four weeks before they are matured for marketing. But, Cockerels are reliable in terms of survival and withstanding bad weathers. They are more resilient, and can absorb shocks far better than Layers and Broilers. Be assured of making back whatever amount of money you invested in the business in multiple fold within a short period of time. Before you venture into poultry farming business in Nigeria, you need to seat back and do proper calculation and planning; make sure you have idea of all the costs involved. Politics / Re: N46m Trade Fee: Nigeria Suspends Row With Ghana by dripstoil: 12:52pm On Jul 01, 2012 |
The problem with Ghanaians is that they have wrong perception of thier country. They think they're now good, that everything is now working fine for them, but that's just in their imagination. Nigeria is stil (by far) better than Ghana in every aspect. |

2sexy: The fact that your mum got it wrong doesn't mean everyone will get theirs wrong. P-Square's investments is far more than what you can imagine. If you understand The Anambrarians, you'll know that if they buy one jet, they actually have money for ten. I was in In Ghana when the news broke out and Ghanaians where practically jubilating. Back here is Niraland, everyone seems to be sad as if their money was stolen. P-Square is by far the busiest African musician and one of the busiest in the world, they travel almost every day. If I tell you that this guys make more money than TUFACE, DBANJ, and Bank W put together wouldn't you argue it? But that's the fact! They are the biggest musician out of Africa death or alive, they deserve it!!! |

After reading all these I'm suddenly affraid to be a Nigerian! See level of venom poured on a simple, harmless, innocent young girl for making a simple joke? Even if it's not a joke, does that warrant all these insult? To a lady? And tomorrow, you'll wake up and claim a gentle man in another tread that talks about women beaters! Silly you Nigerians!!!! |

violent: Myspace failed because they fail to inovate, they fail to buy, to make changes. Facebook is constantly innovating, buying other tech start ups, and making changes. Companies They've bough in the last couple of months 1. Istagram 2. Acquires Karma (a month a go for mobile traffic monetization) 3. Acquired Glancee (another mobile company) 4. Bought Lightbox 5. Currently developing Search Engine and negotiating other deals. If you're a developer and you've been privilaged to work on Facebook's developer's plantform, you'll understand that mentioning fb alongside Yahoo and Myspace is a near taboo. 6. Facebook currently acqured former Sun Corp headquater at Palo Alto for the purpose of expansion. You need to see facebook beyond timeline and status update social network, they've grown far beyond that. Facebook is a Tech company to recon with both on and off the internet. Buying Facebook's share is by no means a negative investment. Contrary to your ealier claim, Facebook has 806 patents |

Politics / Re: Facts that Binds Yorubas and Igbos - We're Brothers! by dripstoil: 6:00pm On Mar 23, 2012 |
Abagworo: The truth is that we may not be of same ancestor but we have interacted involuntarily for thousands of years that we have come to share words. Even Ijaw with its very unique language still shares so many words with Igbo. Such words as miji , otu, ama, ibe mean exactly same in both languages. Some of these shared words might be as recent as the 20th century while others might be thousands of years ago.Same goes with every other language in the South like Ibibio, Efik, Ogoni, Eleme, Ikwerre(95% shared words with Igbo), Edo languages including Urhobo(My moniker Abagoro seems to be rooted in Urhobo), Isoko(95% shared words with Urhobo),Esan,Itsekiri(80% shared words with Yoruba). The list goes on and on. I speak both Igbo and Yoruba, and I must tell you that the similarities between these languages are too many to be taken as coincidents. Apart from the spoken works, there are thousands of other contextaul similarities, i.e the way average Yoruba person pronounce "Ejo" "Ojota" etc, is exactly the same way average Igbo person will pronounce them, replacing the "J" with NON-EXISTING "VOWL". "Oduduwa" is Igbo word "Odunwa" meaning "the last child". That's why no Yoruba person will tell you the meaning of Oduduwa except Historians, but Igbos will... |
