I don't know how you all measure a good SOT

I can't speak about colour OS since I've never used it, but it's development is barely 2 years so it's still young.

What does brands like Elephone, Leeco, Meizu, Doogee etc all have in common despite their fine designs and hardware? Even Lenovo with their wealth of experience in the hardware sector is still struggling with software.

UI is important no doubt. But there is hardly a list of top 5 OS out there without color OS being in it.
ColorOS is good, MIUI is better.
UI can always be improved on, but hardware remains the same.
That's it

I would still choose Mi 9 because in as much as I love uncharted waters, I am not that brave to put that much money into a device based on a promise and God forbid I turn into a lab rat cheesy. You can buy the x2 pro and review it for us, who knows we might be convinced.

Nahh... I'll stick to my Note 7. Cheers

Like say poorly optimised software never do you something. Most of us that still stick to our old devices is because the software still performs great in relation to real-life usage.

DISCLAIMER: I am in no way saying that colour OS is poorly out l optimised o

So what are you saying?

Of course OS is as important as hardware ,no? If I want a device with 855+, 90hz refresh rate etc, I would rather spend more money on the OnePlus 7T than the realme.

That's probably a good choice considering they both have almost the same spec. But we are talking about MI 9

Of course OS is as important as hardware ,no?

No. Hardware is more important than OS.
We can't compare a Redmi 7 with a Realme X2 pro just because one runs a better UI.
That's my argument

How else will a phone run without a software? We were talking about colorOs in the first place undecided

No.. we are talking about Realme x2 pro vs Mi 9.
You made it about OS to suit your argument.

That's your own choice, hardware plus software makes for a very good device for me.

Every phone has a hardware and software. But okay

I wouldn't risk my hard earned money over "promise". I would rather they do before I go all in.

Even if they don't
Realme x2 pro is still a better choice.

I am in your shoes bro, I had to take teaching job, a job I detest the most, but it motivates me to learn programming because I want to leave there as soon as possible. When I was looking for job the morale to learn programming diminished I prefer watching film and playing game morning to night. But as I started teaching I become more conscious of my development and immediately I come back from school I learn something on programming.

Nothing bad in starting from small so far you have a focus.

Can I get your contact?
Maybe I could draw from your zeal and we could form up a team learning pattern.

i'm considering the Realme X2 Pro to the Mi 9 embarassed

opinions

Go for the X2 pro.
Performance
Display
Camera
Fastest charging

All that over MIUI?

Plus they promised to revamp color OS in their android 10 update.

Hardware over UI

I don't know if Nairaland moderators have an agenda against the igbos.
The way bad news always concerning the Igbo tribe rush to the front page is just prove.
It's a shame Seun. Shame.

That not withstanding, you should have at least one friend whom you are close to. Preferably the opposite sex.

I used to have someone of the opposite sex. Our relationship was like yours. I learnt to be with the person all day and became pretty attached. But then when they leave you, man I haven't trusted anything that looks like her since then.
I have close friends (guys) but they are not like me.
All currently employed and extroverted.
It becomes annoying when you're chatting with them and the next question is 'you don get job? '.
That question repeated overtime can cause you to distance yourself.
No one wants to be reminded of his set backs.

Try and get engaged in something that occupies you. Like learning programming etc. It's going to build your chance of getting a job.

I'm currently on this.
It's actually hard learning alone. At least for me.
But I really do want to. I try.
It's all start and stop.
