The issue with Olubadan throne is that before they attain that throne,they are already Old.
Imagine someone who took up the throne last year at the age of 89.
After 2 or 3 years on the throne,they are gone.
I think Ibadan people should do away with that system of Kingship and fashion out another way which would allow young,healthy and agile able men to get to the throne.
Though the system is less controversial but it's archaic.

I know at least five people in the UK that came to Nigeria for major surgeries. As a resident in the UK, one thing I can say about the UK healthcare is that it is messy with annoying bureaucracy. It is easier to get Medicare in Nigeria than here in the UK.

You can at least be logical rather than sentimental. The incident happened while the Nigerian Army was having a 15km bi-annual routine march in the area. It is pathetic that a preponderance of Nigerians reason less, but type more.

At least he should go to the court to defend himself. He needs to back up his claim on the illegality of the IGP position. Out of all the trending socio-economic issues in Nigeria, the only one that an acclaimed activist is concerned about is to attack the office of the IGP over an avoidable issue.

Only two celebs would freak me in this world; Michael Jackson and Ronaldo. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see MJ before he died but I was honoured to see Ronaldo at a very close distance. Funny thing is that apart from the goosebumps, I didn’t even lose my steeze. I also saw Taylor Swift last year. Instead of being star-struck, it was her performance rather than appearance that gave me chills. Once we start treating those celebs like humans they will start behaving like humans.

You need to come to the UK to see for yourself. The truth is that the west is quite receptive to immigrants, but they only want talented immigrants and that is why the UK is doling out global talent visa for talented individuals. I don't have issues with people emigrating, in fact migration is part of human history. However, I would hate to support migration that is similar to slavery. I have seen Nigerians in the UK downplay racial slurs, accept disrespect and other derogatory nuances all in the name of japa.

Why should I insult them.
You may need them one day.

Even when I was working in Nigeria, I wiped humans despite occupying the highest stratum in the medical profession.
It didn't reduce me in anyway.
Medical Doctors in Nigeria manually evacuate impacted faeces from patients.
Has it reduced them?
The insults from us are just too much.
Too many proud folks these days.
Lazy youths that wouldn't want to do anything besides disturbing the peace of others.

It is quite illogical to drop your academic qualifications and professional experience just to pick up a blue collar job. Most people in the UK that are into care and security didn't even make it to the university. It saddens me when I see former bankers, lawyers, risk managers in UK doing menial jobs. How do we plan to transform our own country when the professionals are constantly going on exodus to the UK just to wipe ass. The painful thing is that these folks were comfortable in Nigeria

It hurts to know that Nigerians abroad, especially in the UK have accepted to become subservient and accept the most demeaning jobs. People proudly apply for care jobs and still get insulted. The annoying part is that people who were doing well for themselves in Nigeria left everything just to accept this denigrating lifestyle all in the name of seeking greener pasture.

It bothers me that after significant investments on your education, struggle to get a job or even start a business, investment on your body (fitness aficionados) and years to acquire properties, a guy will still most likely end up with a girl with little or no substance. I am an advocate of a symbiotic relationship. It makes no sense for any guy to settle for less. The truth is that the difference between you as a guy and a girl is the reproductive system. We need to start deconstructing the societal gender narratives, it makes girls lazy and overly reliant.

tinubu and his folks are charlatans. It is hard to fathom that this same Shettima wore sneakers to a major conference before the election just to generate controversies. Tinubu was also speaking in tongues and suffered multiple gaffes before the election just to distract us. Shettima miraculously transformed to "best dressed" and Tinubu regained his demeanor after they both won the election. They know that politics in Nigeria has nothing to do with substance. It has always been attack on your personality to gain cheap popularity.
