Muslim muslim ticket is beyond politics, it is a litmus test for the survival of christianity at the highest level of power in Nigeria.

Aside the Muslim-muslim ticket, who, in their right senses, would still vote for APC after witnessing their calamitous govt? Virtually all sectors in the country have collapsed.

What has Oshinbajo done for the benefit of Christians in NIGERIA? Do Christians feel better than others in their administration? Is Buhari using APC manifesto or his own agenda. Both your arguments are lame arguments with no substance in them. What we need is good leaders, whether they are in APC or any other party. Parties don’t matter here, individuals matter. Peter Obi and his PDP friends destroyed NIGERIA before Buhari was voted in. He cannot deceive us because he was contesting along with Atiku in PDP as VP. They both lost. Is it now that they are separated that they will win?

I had the opportunity to look at his CV online. Unlike other standard CVs, Peter Obi conveniently removed dates from his CV. I was particularly interested to know how long it took him to finish a philosophy degree�. I was also interested in knowing the grade he got. Both these important information were missing from his CV. Is that what you call a CV? And more revelations in it prove that Peter Obi was part and parcel of PDP government and held many positions in that government including economic team. Yet, the Jonathan regime was a lutocracy to put it mildly. And Obi is trying to tell us he is a new breed? Anyway, lying is ingrained in his DNA.

I am one of the descendants of owners of Lagos island. My family is well known in Ita Faji, I will not mention for security reasons. I was borne in Mushin, my parents were borne in Lagos island. Nobody owns Lagos more than me. And yes, our lives have been carefree type for many years. That’s why atohunrinwa became governors. But Tinubu and other governors, apart from Otedola who is the only Ikorodu indigene, have performed creditably well. I hold no grudge against them. Most of us hold no grudge except for Major General Olanrewaju and his bingos shouting everywhere because of a land tussle on VI.

Complete nonsense. All the civilian governors of Lagos can trace their origin outside Lagos, including Jakande. And Tinubu did massive transformation of Lagos. The few disgruntled elements from Lagos who have axe to grind with Tinubu can be known, and they have land issues with Tinubu government, not Tinubu himself. Without Tinubu, Lagos would not have known that they could generate high IGR to develop the city. So, I see your hatred for Tinubu as hatred for development and good governance. Peter Obi did not do anything near what Tinubu has done for Lagos.

Former chairman of Diamond Bank, Alex Otti, yesterday stated that former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi left $150 million in three banks.

His reaction may not be unconnected to claims by Anambra state government that Obi left an empty treasury.

Otti, however, insisted that Obi was a prudent leader.

He spoke while delivering a key note address. “Nigeria economic recession: Ways out of the woods”, at the 8th annual conference of the Academy for Entrepreneurial Study, at the Nigerian Institute for International Study, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Otti said Nigeria needed leaders who can inspire confidence in the people by doing what leadership required and that those in high positions should serve the people and not themselves.

Otti then cited Peter Obi’s example.

“As the chairman of Diamond Bank as at the time Obi was governor, I can confirm that he left $50 million each in Diamond Bank, Fidelity Bank and Access Bank.

“I can also confirm that he did not borrow money from any financial institution”, he said.

Earlier in his speech, chairman of the event, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, represented by former Minister of Health, Julius Adelusi Adeluyi, urged leaders to focus on the people and called on Nigerians to intensify prayers for God to have mercy on the nation.

In his remarks, Peter Obi thanked the organisers for choosing a topic, he described as critical to the nation’s prosperity.

Obi said Nigerian leaders must have conscience to understand that leadership is all about serving and not being served.

He said Nigeria had all it takes to become a great nation, if leaders reflect on the trajectory of how successful economies are made.
