I want to say that NIGERIA needs a leader like Tinubu, who will talk tough to people who misbehave. He is the only leader around who can stand up to anyone in NIGERIA. This is an opportunity to have a leader who can talk to military generals and look them in face to solve the security problems. He can talk to any appointee who is not measuring up to standards. He can talk to his friends and foes alike without blinking an eyelid. NIGERIA needs leaders like him right now. Not nice and meek leaders, these are needed to sell ice cream and pop corn.

Imagine, Tinubu has not yet secured the ticket, he is already saying that he made everybody what they are. So what if he is now president? A sense of entitlement that the North were always concerned about. Frankly, even many Southerners who suspected such attitude now have it confirmed.

So, the North, if they choose to let a Southerner be APC candidate, it will be a Southerner who will show them gratitude. It greatly improves the chances of Amaechi, Fayemi and Osinbajo.

Such a weak leader will not do anyone any good. We need a harsh leader who takes no nonsense from anyone. That’s what Tinubu is. That’s what NIGERIA needs. Not a smooth operator who cannot talk when they are stealing money in his presence.
